Fantastic experience: THINKING OF YOUR NEXT DRIVING SCHOOL? I highly recommend DAFFYD’S DRIVING SCHOOL. He went above and beyond to ensure I had my certificate at first attempt by ticking all the boxes. and made sure no gap was left uncompleted. I was over prepared I must confess and I’d never thought I could be so road disciplined. He’s the best in the game and I will be too unfair and stingy not to recommend him like someone did to me.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Daffyd enough for a driving instructor! Not only is he accommodating, experienced, responsible, and willing to thoroughly and plainly explain his knowledge and skill. He is also so down to earth, relatable and friendly. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease right from the first lesson. He was not just my instructor but became my friend. I have had many instructors, however have never been made to feel confident in myself. Daffyd allowed me to learn and build my own skill not just be able to do what an instructor says. Daffyd, thank you from my family and I, you'll never understand the difference you have made to us. I'm going to miss our lessons and chats. Fantastic experience: Dafydd was really helpful and encouraging. Whenever I made a silly mistake, Dafydd always calm and patience and always understand fully what I had done wrong. Not only that, he always cheered me up and always had a good laugh. Unfortunately, Dafydd got injured was unable to instruct me, but instead found a replacement instructor, Phil. Even though he was injured, always was there for me to give advice. Because of him passed first time and it was a pleasure to be taught by him. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Daffyd is the man! I had a crash course with Daffyd around Abergavenny and passed on my test a few weeks later. Daffyd has a very patient style and stands out among instructors for his scepticism, for example, about endless confusing 'reference points'. 'Go with your gut' was his instruction on parking, and it works! A good guy to spend time with in a car learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Excellent! Daffyd taught me so much, with the perfect amount of support. He managed to identify the areas that I was struggling with and planned this into our lessons so well; always making sure that I was comfortable to move on and allowing me to progress and a pace I was comfortable with. He's a really friendly and reassuring person which really helped with my confidence. He also was very accommodating for my timeframe - fitting in lessons around my work as well as doing longer lessons in preparation for my test date, at short notice too. The app he uses to book and manage lessons makes everything so much easier to keep track of and lets you check what areas you need to work on. Overall, I can't recommend him enough, honestly so glad that I had him to teach me and there's no chance I would have passes as fast as I did without him!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dafyd, he's approachable, very patient in giving out instructions a d very vocal in pointing out my faults during our sessions. He's tips, advices and knowledge around the area/ routes we took during our driving lesson were very accurate and useful which did come out at the time of the exam!
