Fantastic experience: From my experience Tony has been a perfect fit for my driving lessons. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable and has a calm and re-assuring approach to teaching which was a great contributor to my success in passing the test. He clearly takes his job seriously and does what he can for his pupils. So if you need someone to help you get your licence, this is your guy.

He was professional and is very good at explaining things thoroughly. He made sure that I didn’t have to pay for any more hours than we’re needed whilst making sure I was ready and confident to pass.

Fantastic experience: I learned driving with a friend but got one assessment with Tony and he in that assessment took both the mock test as well as guided me as to how I can pass the test. His feedback and the assessment was really helpful and just one session gave me the skill, knowledge and confidence to get to that test and I passed it with the first try. Fantastic experience: I first found Tony after being discouraged by my old instructor at the time, and from the first lesson it was immediately clear that Tony and I would get on much better. He is approachable and patient, explains everything in an easy-to-understand manner, and is a treasure-trove of extra tips and info which are always super helpful. Fantastic experience: Honestly, don't waste your time looking elsewhere, Toni is the instructor you want and need - he will not only help you pass your test but actually drive! I found Toni looking for a RoSPA qualified instructor but he was fully booked at first (now I appreciate why). I wish I just waited a little because I feel the instructor I settled for knocked my confidence. But after quickly switching to Toni, he helped so much to undo that. Especially as a more anxious person, I was pleasantly surprised when I suddenly started looking forward to my lessons because my confidence was rapidly improving. He's very easy to get on with, I felt safe from the get go, and became competent at driving in a short amount of time. He taught me the whys of what I was doing and what the driving test assessor would be thinking. Despite having all sorts of challenges with dates and uncontrollable disruptions (on my end), we overcame that thanks to his flexibility and understanding. Just contact him, you won't regret it - I'm writing this having just passed this morning (first time). I'm looking forward to advance lessons with him!

Fantastic experience: First time ever riding a bike, like most people I felt a little apprehensive but to be fair Tony and Chris were patient and very good at explaining. After a few shakey starts and a wheelie ( only about 5") I got to grips with the clutch done a few exercises in the yard then after lunch we were asked if we wanted to go on the road at first I was a bit nervous but to be honest going on the road felt better than in the yard. I'm definitely going to do my big boy bike with these guys and was even offered a free trial on a bigger bike which I'll be taking up the offer. Thank you Tony and Chris

Fantastic experience: The CBT delivered by Tony was excellent. I had never riden a motorcycle in my life and his tutelage was superb. Was very clear and precise with his instructions. Very patient and encouraging. But he was also very exact with his criticisms, all in order for a rider to work on their faults before moving up to their Mod 1.

Fantastic experience: I have recently completed my cbt and felt I needed to share my experience, the process from start to finish was so straight forward, a simple phone call to Cerys was all that was required. I was told exactally what to bring on the day and what to expect (I was a bit nervous) however on arrival and a brief chat to tony (cheif instructor) I felt reassured. We carried out our basic exercises in the comfort of a closed car park, as the day progressed my (and the people I was with) confidence grew! Before long we were on the road in ‘real life’ situations in the surrounding areas. With the training although initially apprehensive I felt totally comfortable with the knowledge gained earlier in the day and at no point did I feel ‘out of my depth’. I would 100% reccomend motorcycle training people cardiff!

Fantastic experience: The motorcycle training people gave me the absolute best introduction to bigger bikes and I am very impressed with the useful training I have received. Most motorcycle instructors I have heard of and have used in the past take the approach of shouting when you make a mistake but Tony showed excellent coaching skills and was super easy to get along with. The sessions were planned out very well and I passed my A2 first time with only two minors thanks to Tony's vast amount of skill and knowledge. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I looked at these reviews when I booked with Motorcycle Training People. From my first contact with Cery’s I knew they lived up to the reviews, she was incredibly helpful and informative. I had actually travelled over from France to do my mod 1 as I’m currently their with work. Tony is the perfect instructor, he answered my questions and was super calm when he gave his advice and training. He is exactly what I need when going through this license. And it gets better...... I passed my mod 1, 6 days ago, and they knew I was heading back to France. Cery’s managed to find me a cancellation for mod 2 and Tony worked around any spare time he had to train me. Including a 6am start today for an 8.20 test. So I can now head back to France not only with my mod 1 but my full unrestricted license! Tony also lent me the equipment I needed so I didn’t need to bring it over from France. Thanks guys you definitely deserve your 5*’s.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with how professional Tony and Cerys were in my motorcycle training. Cerys explained the process very clearly and tailored my training to any experience I had. Once it was time to “get on the bike” Tony was amazing in his instructions putting my mind at rest and helping me to enjoy my training. When it come to my MOD 1 training, I was ready for it. I had never even sat on a bike previously let alone ride one, so I was very nervous. Big thanks to Instructor Tony for all the help given. Fantastic experience: So was bought a CBT course as a surprise by my partner for my 30th birthday. They helped my partner organise the training date, theory test and left her surprise me with the cbt course. I arrived in Nantgarw to meet Tony, he was amazing. Had patience and always reassured us that there was no question which was a daft or stupid question. We had a brief, got kitted out and introduced to our bikes. Another briefing about the bike, what the switches knobs and buttons did and stripped it back so that everyone understood, wether you've ridden before or a complete first time. Helmets on, engines started numerous laps later on a private enclosed car park and confidence growing again Tony with his words of wisdom and tuition was priceless.... Because it was organised by my partner she was unaware I have ridden before (off road) they provided me a 125cc but after Tony heard I was going in for my full licence he had a 600cc delivered to site so I could get on and learn on the bike I will eventually pass my test. Could not fault it. After getting to grips with the manoeuvres it was time to take to the road, a radio earpiece to listen to the instructor and a ratio of 2 learners and 1tutor enabled us to have a 30 minute break whilst waiting for the rest to get some road time. They returned and off I went for my turn. 600cc between the legs, a great tutor in the rear view mirror, talking to you correcting errors, pointing out potential problems and always reassuring you and helping you through the radio. Return back to the paddock and then back out for another go. This time a trip up and around Caerphilly Town, past the castle followed by a trip up and over Caerphilly mountain. Further reassurance and guidance and we were plodding along relaxed and enjoying the ride. Returned again signed the cbt and had a chat about what next...... I can't wait. Thank you guys for helping my partner organise a complete surprise because I know she hasn't got a clue when it comes to things like this and secondly thank you for the brilliant tuition. Like Tony said there is no such thing as a daft question. I've rode before and took to it like a duck to water. I'm not perfect but was extremely confident with the help given. That said there was a boy who had never rode before and the patience show and confidence given to him and by the end of the day he was riding as well as me and the other learner who was progressing to a big bike and full licence. Fantastic experience: Hi my name is Sean and I run a Facebook group called L Plate Warriors, through this group I was put on to this training company in order for me to do my Direct Access to get me on two wheels. My first encounter was the day of MOD 1, where I was instructed how to control the bike and manoeuvre it to navigate through the various exercises to pass the test. Tony my instructor, was very clear in what he expected from me and very clear in his training and mentoring which made the learning experience a breeze. Needless to say after a morning with Tony I felt confident in undergoing my test that very afternoon. Needless to say , I passed! Just under a week later and I am back on one of Tony’s bikes, undergoing MOD 2 Training. Again Tony’s relaxed and confidence boosting manner makes the ride an absolute pleasure as he guides me over the intercom through various roads and traffic conditions. A week to the day after MOD 1 I am back on the bike and Tony is calming my nerves prior to the test. A short spin to ensure I have blown the cobwebs away and some final tips, then next thing you know I am leaving the test centre with my MOD 2 pass ! Tony and Cerys made me feel like a valued customer, especially with how quick they had me back on the bike for MOD 2. The experience has been an absolute pleasure, I will certainly be trusting Motorcycle Training People with not only my continuous progression towards advanced training, but also in the mentoring of my boys who are both looking to do tests albeit on smaller engined bikes. I can not recommend this company enough! Thank you Tony and Cerys!

Fantastic experience: Had so much to learn when I first arrived as hadn't ridden since my CBT nearly 2 years ago, but MTP helped me breeze through and pass the full test first time. Makes the training fun whilst simultaneously taking the training as seriously as in needs to be. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I went with this company to do my mod 2 I had a full days training and test two days later Tony was an excellent trainer and is thoughtful to all your needs and the two hours prior to my test we went through it all and I would only recommend this company in future i passed with only one minor thank you very much tony

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this company by a friend and can't fault them, great instructors, friendly, patient and really good feedback from them. This was the first time I have ridden a bike and certainly won't be the last, can't wait to do my DAS with them now!
