Fantastic experience: even though richard only taught me for 6 weeks, he helped me pass my driving test 1st time with only 3 minors!! he helped me brush up on a lot of things, and clean everything up ready for my test, even booking my lessons in around my work schedule which was very helpful Thank You Rich

Positive experience: Richard was a good instructor but just didn't have that confidence because the lessons were very on and off at times. I went out driving with my dad alot but alot of the habits I learned from Richard I took on board with me driving with my dad.

Positive experience: Im leaving this review on behalf of my daughter whose recently had a handful of lessons with Richard as she had a few lessons on and off with different instructor while at uni in London and needed catch up lessons . I noticed that after each lesson she was anxious and she expressed that she felt that the instructor was not giving her the confidence that she needed and in fact she was driving worse because of it and he cancel a lesson at very short notice on more than one occasion. So on the last cancelled lesson we decided to move in to another Driving school where she has settled in really well .

Fantastic experience: A great car for lessons and a great instructor, I have had 3 other instructors prior and failed 2 test. I knew I needed ram roads to get me ready for my test and as a result I passed fairly easily

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructor, I had tried a few previous to Ram Roads, but no-one quite had the skills and knowledge that were clearly demonstrated by my instructor with Ram Roads. Impressively teaches you in multiple ways, repetition, showings, telling, letting you try it yourself, sometimes even getting in the drivers seat and showing you themselves. I was blown away with my instructors patience, and teaching skills. I would HIGHLY recommend RAM ROADS to anyone looking to pass their test whether that be youngsters just going for their test, or someone like myself who just never got around to trying to pass. Fantastic experience: Rich is an amazing instructor. He helped me find my confidence to learn to drive again after being a passenger in a car accident years ago. Having anxiety myself Rich always made me feel at ease while driving and helped me increase my confidence in my driving skills. Rich was the first instructor I felt confident enough to book my driving test with and I'm extremely happy to say I passed first time.

Fantastic experience: After having previous instructors I started lessons with RAM Roads as an incredibly nervous driver, lacking hugely in confidence. My instructor was incredibly patient and flexible, and worked with me to not only fine tune my driving skills, but most importantly to boost my confidence behind the wheel and make me feel comfortable tackling all driving scenarios that came my way. After a mixture of classes and short intensive courses at RAM ROADS I passed my test today, 1st time with just 1 minor. It doesn't matter how many times you want to go over something you're not sure about, he will explain it until you fully understand. Fantastic experience: I was looking for an instructor that was reccomended to me, luckily I found Richard. I suffer with anxiety and felt so sick before my first lesson but was instantly put at ease. I felt sick before every lesson to be honest but within minutes I was ok each time. He is calming. He is professional and he is a laugh! He talks too fast (you get used to it) but all jokes aside, I am so so happy to have learnt with him because I don’t think I would have passed otherwise. P.s... he likes rock music, don’t let this deter you lol P.p.s. Thank you for everything Rich! X

Called Rich less than a week to my driving test and he managed to squeeze me in his tight schedule for about 8 hours lesson. During my lessons with him I was a nervous wreck. Rich totally calmed me down, took me through a lot in a short space of time but he did it with such professionalism and experience. He made me have confidence in myself at my lowest during my lessons. He is very patient and honest. Fantastic experience: Rich is an absolute legend. Im all over the place, bit of a mess when it comes to learning. Besides being the most patient instructor, he personalises his teaching methods depending on someones personality. I passed the second time with only a few minors, and genuinely feel that I can be left on the road by myself (which for me is the biggest test really). Rich also has these "catch-frases" on steps to do certain manoeuvres or things to look out for, that really help create a pattern when you're learning. I think for a while i'll still think of them in order to not mix myself up! I cannot recommend Richy enough, regardless of your level of knowledge. He's also a hell of a nice guy, and funny for that matter :D Thanks Pal

Fantastic experience: Started an intensive driving course recently with Richard, and am very happy with how it is going. Very helpful instructor which has helped me get my confidence back into driving as I was not driving for about a year. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After having my first lesson with Rich I realised I was in good hands as he is very relaxed which seems to rub off on me when I'm driving. He doesn't make you feel uncomfortable in anyway when making a mistake and gives you very clear instructions of what to do and when to do it. He is also very good helping me learn certain things for example the mspsl etc. Rich is great at thinking of ways to help me remember things. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons and highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Having had three lessons with Rich now, I'm very impressed with the various teaching methods he's been using, as a training specialist myself, I could see how effective and tailor made they are. From a total beginner and not a glue (and interest) with cars, after only three lessons, I could already see how much I've improved and how much I now look forward to each lesson! Rich is not only holding his teaching to a very high standard, he's also super patient and accommodating. I'm so lucky to have him as my instructor. I'm sure I'll pass my test in no time and then start the Pass Plus with him! Stop shopping around (that was what I thoroughly did), call Rich, and you can thank me here later! :)

Richard picked up on small issues that I was not made aware of before. I went into my test feeling very prepared and I am so chuffed to have passed with only 3 minors. Fantastic experience: With so much good stuff to say about Rich at Ram Roads this won't be a short review. Having grown up with a family who never drove and only driven for 2 Hours with my Father-in-law a week before taking my lessons with Rich it was safe to say I knew nothing of driving. Within my first lesson I was driving which I wasn't expecting from my first lesson and my second I was actually driving to and from my house! Rich is always calm when I make mistakes and words things in a way I will always remember what to do. Leading up to my theory and hazard perception test (which I passed first time) I learnt more from Rich then what I did from the pc software I bought (especially when it came to observing the road for hazards). Still with him and still getting better at driving. Rich is my first driving instructor and there certainly won't be a second to replace him. In short go to Ram Roads! Its the Best!
