Negative experience: AVOID - not responding to several calls and emails after taking my money for lessons and not helping me book

Negative experience: I enquired about purchasing a pack of lessons on the online chat. I received a response saying they were fully booked and they immediately closed the chat.

Negative experience: Unfortunately being new to the area I came across this muppet who insisted on undertaking me dangerously off a roundabout. Hardly a good example of a professional driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Great lessons with Paul, thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive and great instruction to help me pass, thanks again Paul

Negative experience: I have called to the office several times, they agreed to call me back on all those calls, but nobody had called me back to book the appointment. Very dissatisfied.

Fantastic experience: Went from zero experience to passing my test with Paul who was patient whilst encouraging me to work hard on any areas I struggled with. He offered lots of useful tips for real world driving and a brilliant motorway lesson after passing my test. Most significantly, he was very flexible with scheduling lessons and never cancelled without good notice. I recommend booking one lesson through their website to start with and then directly via your instructor. This makes lessons easier to budget for and organise in the long run.

Fantastic experience: Paul Well has made learning how to drive an enjoyable experience! He has never raised his voice when explaining my driving errors. I was very fortunate to find such a driving instructor who prioritises the student. Paul taught me how to drive safely and confidently which allowed me to pass the practical test on first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today (first time) thanks to Paul! Honestly, very thankful to come across him. Paul is extremely patient, honest, gives clear instructions and was able to fit me into his schedule. Plus, he is a great storyteller. He will ask you each lesson what you would like to work on and will focus on that until you feel confident. Any driving challenges I’ve had, he has helped me overcome and I would walk away from each lesson learning something new. Thanks Paul!

Fantastic experience: Had Paul as an instructor for a few months. Very helpful and patient with my mistakes, helped me to a first time pass with only a few months of lessons. Was very reasonably priced as well especially when compared to the rest of Bath

Negative experience: This company is very untrustworthy, I bought a package from them but after going through the trust pilot Reviews I had made a mistake and called asking for a refund and all I was told was they couldn't deal with it and someone will call me back which never happened even after the second call where they said someone would call me back that. I also emailed there supplied email address with a receipt and a refund request no one ever responded after 3 weeks,luckily I had paid through pay Pal and was able to make a claim and get my refund. My recommendation don't trust this company with a penny

Negative experience: Stay away from this company!!! This is the worst experience we had ever have. Was highly recommended by friend, my poor daughter had worked so hard to save up money for driving lessons. She paid for a bundle of 5 driving lessons early December, excited to start learning, then went ahead to book for a driving test date in April. Since payment made to now she receive no confirmation of any form, we called up over 10 times between my daughter and I trying to book the first lesson, each and every single time was asked to leave a telephone number will have someone to call us back yet never got a call back. So last Saturday we decided go to their Bath branch address on Google at Pierrepont St, Bath BA1 1LA, yet we went up and down of that street could find any sign of it, asked shops in the street they had never heard of them, stand on the street called up Drive2Us, telephone operator was trying to be helpful looking up at the Google map trying to direct us to it, which could find it either, asked us to hold while she go get help, back and forth over 20 minutes over the phone, I told her we are not happy with their company and would like to get our refund, she told us she is at the Bristol branch couldn’t help us with finding the Bath branch office, and we should leave her with our number someone will call us back on the refund, I told her we had this same response for the last over 10 times we called, can she make sure someone do actually call us back, she said she had placed in the urgent request and we should get a call back by Monday, today is Tuesday still no one call back, it is horrible to deal with. We don’t know what else to do to get her money back. Left her so little time to prepare for her test, such a let down for a young person trying to learn to work hard for her goal, this is extremely frustrating!!!!

Negative experience: I am reviewing drive2us Bath in 2021/22, sharing my experience as a warning. I have given the company every opportunity to rectify the situation and am only leaving this after they have failed to. I booked a bundle of 4 lessons for my son's birthday. They said I would receive a voucher. I didn't, which was fine, but there was no confirmation of booking and no one got in contact, they just took the money. I've called around 10 times, someone always answers and says they will take a message and get someone to call back. They never do. They say they're not a call centre but certainly don't know anything about driving lessons or the company. I've emailed about 15 times. At one point someone called James replied, apologising and saying I must have slipped through the net and yes they would refund. Then he disappeared and hasn't responded to emails or calls for weeks. All I'm asking them for is a refund on the bundle of lessons I bought as they are not filling me with confidence so far. They say they will refund me but, two months later, they still haven't. The whole 'I'll get someone to call you back' model of communication is incredibly frustrating. I would advise anyone against booking lessons with this company,

Negative experience: Terrible Customer service, the receptionists are not in contact with actual customer service and the customer service dont take calls. The system crashed and removed my booking and they did not even try and book me in again.

Negative experience: this is a scam, my driving instructor did not turn up 4 times this happened pre pandemic

Negative experience: The instructor Mike Jackson is really unprofessional with bad teaching quality. Nothing can be learned from him. He just want to earn money.

Fantastic experience: Paul gave some really useful feedback and tips that I feel have really improved my driving. I highly recommend him, especially since he teaches how to drive rather than just how to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: Terry was my instructor. He helped me loads. He was really patient with me and I always felt comfortable driving with him. Terry helped me to build up my confidence which really helped me to pass my test. He’s a great teacher and had good and easy ways for me to understand things like manoeuvre. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I Completed my intensive driving course with Alan at the beginning of March. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Having gone from no driving experience to passing my test only 26 days after my 17th birthday it is safe to say it was definitely worth the money. If you get a chance to stop in Chippenham, Alan knows the best kebab van to go visit!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Alan as an instructor. Alan always managed to work around my time, which was great as someone who works full time. I started out having never driven before and I now feel fully prepared to drive safely on the road.

Fantastic experience: Alan, what a geezer mind! He is great instructor and gets you through every single step of the way. He talks you through everything and tries every technique, feasibly possible so you learn and are able to understand. Within the first day or two everything began to come natural to me. (Of course everyone is different) He has a great natural ability to make you feel confident, he will look after you and he makes sure you are comfortable. He is such a legend and is a great laugh in all. Honestly, I cannot recommend the bloke enough- I passed my test today after a block course and that really is a gert proper job mind! Best money I spent...

Fantastic experience: Alan from drive2us was an excellent instructor. He made me feel very comfortable learning with him as he has a lot of patience, he took into consideration what I thought I need help with. Alan very reassuring of my confidence in driving as I made mistakes while learning, also he is very good at giving relationship advice.

Negative experience: Giving one star because I cant give 0. Mess around way too much, you have to keep calling them, you get through to reception, they take a message and then never call back. They will waste ur time essentially

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 2 previous instructors before Paul. He was by far the better instructor and couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Explained things with simplicity to help me understand everything I needed to know with ease.

Fantastic experience: Great experience and also good prices. Driving instructors are nice and helpful. I had a great time learning from Alan, as he was calm and friendly. He knew exactly how much to push so it would benefit me, but without anything becoming stressful. He knew how to make every lesson count so you would walk away learning something new every time without making the lessons repetitive. And where there were mistakes, he knew how to turn them in learning experiences. Thank you Alan, couldn’t have gotten my license without you.

Negative experience: In the interest of fairness I have moved my review to Bristol section, as I'm assuming it covers instructors in Gloucester area too. THE RESPONSE IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE. I WAS ONLY TOLD THIS MORNING I OWED MONEY VIA TEXT BY 2PM I HAD RESPONDED TO THE INSTRUCTOR THAT I CAN PAYMENT ONLINE IF HE'S HAPPY WITH IT. THE OWNER IS NOW THREATENING LEGAL ACTION. AT NO TIME HAVE I ASKED FOR COMPENSATION OR FINANCIAL REMEDY. HE IS NOW SAYING THEY DON'T CHARGE PUPILS FOR ACCIDENTS WHEN IN TEXT MESSAGE HE'S ADVISED THE INSTRUCTOR IS ABLE TO MAKE HIS OWN POLICIES AND PURSUE FINANCIAL REPAYMENT.

Fantastic experience: Alan was an excellent instructor. After previously driving for 2 summers making little progress, Alan helped me to get test ready in a short period of time. He is very flexible and was able to adjust his busy schedule to enable me to have the best possible chance of passing.

Positive experience: Paul Wall (in Bath) is a good, patient and kind driving instructor. Unfortunately however, Drive2Us has terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Alan highly enough, he really goes the “extra mile” haha for his pupils! He took me on as a complete novice driver and was very patient with me, taking me through everything at my own pace. He helped me focus a lot on some aspects that I found more challenging. He has all the time in the world with his pupils and his friendly and relaxed but professional attitude was great! If you are looking for a down to earth and very professional driving instructor Alan is your man!

Negative experience: it's a scam - i called the office and later someone called me back and booked a lesson for me. i then paid for a lesson and then never heard from them again.

Fantastic experience: Alan was a fantastic instructor, (soon became a friend) who built my confidence and got me on the road quickly. He was invested in my learning and would regularly adapt his teaching technique based on how I best picked something up. It was very clear from the offset how much he cares about his students, and when I passed, he was as happy as I was! He was a pleasure to sit in a car with and someone I very quickly felt relaxed around

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and waste of time!! Both me and my wife used to driving before we moved to UK. We wanted a driving school which could help us get license here quick and guide us on how many lessons should we take. At Drive2us website they offer free assessment for Lapsed Learners (pic1). We called them and the customer service operator booked us for free assessment lesson for next week. Fast forward to next week and we are still waiting for any confirmation from Drive2us about our lesson. We called them in and operator told us that someone will call us back. As a result they text(pic2) us that it is only for new drivers. Which is not true as their website states otherwise. However both me and my wife booked lessons online through their website for 1hour lesson. Once again we didn't receive any confirmation text or email other than successful transaction email. We called them to confirm our booking and Customer service as usual assure us that someone will contact us back. We received a text asking about our post-code. We provide our post code but never hear back from Drive2us(msg1). Next day we called again and customer service assured that if the booking successful than driving lesson will happen at registered time. The instructor never came. We contacted them again and got unprofessional and lame excuses. Please see all attached pics as evidence. They wasted my 2 weeks time.

Fantastic experience: Paul is very kind instructor. He can drive most of vehicles from motorbike to lorry. although English is not my fisrt language he is still very patient to explain to me. He is usually very strict but I think it is very useful to improve driving skills.

Fantastic experience: Excellent and highly recommended! I hadn't driven for over 20 years, and was naturally pretty nervous taking up driving again! Terry from Bath immediately made me feel at ease, and has a very relaxing and encouraging approach, providing plenty of feedback but never overbearing. Thanks to Terry, after a few refreshers, I now have a car and am driving again! Wholeheartedly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test on Friday and Alan was a pleasure to work with all the way through the process. He was always calm but also always focused on providing a learning experience at every opportunity. This style of teaching meant that I was able to learn quickly and efficiently and pass my test in less than two months from my first lesson. He was ultra-reliable and always communicated well with me. Above all, we were able to enjoy each others company and have a few laughs along the way. I would recommend him to anyone trying to learn how to drive. Thanks so much.

Fantastic experience: Paul has been a brilliant instructor. I found him after learning for a few months with another instructor and I’m so glad I did because I’ve learnt all that I was failed to be taught before and he’s much better! Paul is fun, flexible, great at teaching and I come away from each lesson feeling more confident in my abilities. He is encouraging and always asks what you want to improve on and most importantly he teaches you how to drive and not how to pass a test. Fantastic experience: Learning to drive was a fun and delightful experience with Drive2us. My instructor Terry Case is a terrific instructor. From day one we got along very well, he managed to create an exciting experience every lesson. Making sure it wasn’t completely super serious and being able to have fun in the lessons whilst being safe and responsible. Within just a year and a half I felt ready enough to take my practical test. My instructor made sure I was prepared on every aspect and managed to help me mentally ready myself for a stressful situation of a test (as most of them are). After passing my test I realised I would of never been able to pass without the instructions and guidance of my incredible instructor. I would fully recommend Drive2us to anyone looking to start driving of any age!

Fantastic experience: So I have been learning to drive now over a year with my old instructor and felt like I wasn't making much progress, I had one lesson with Paul from drive 2 us and I got a double lesson and learnt lots, he is also much more flexible and I am getting more lessons and much more experience, Paul is also very approachable and will answer ever question with a positive comment, he also has the right attitude for the job

Negative experience: Really bad company, very unprofessional. The driver always reschedule my lesson on the date We accorded. I have asked for my money back and nobody’s has come to me yet. I have been called a thousand times already. DONT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

Negative experience: Booked some lessons a week in advance, the day before the lesson I called to confirm the time which had been set, no answer, then on the day at 10am nobody showed up. Missed a day of work for nothing...
