Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Stuart if you're looking for automatic lessons. He has great knowledge to share and is calm and patient with you while you get to grips with the car and the roads. Never felt stressed or under pressure during any of my lessons. I had the advantage of going from a motorcycle to a car so I had general road sense before starting with Stuart. I also didn't really want to learn to drive (due to motoring costs and Bristol traffic) but nevertheless I took to it quickly thanks to Stuart's mentoring and passed after only 16 hours of lessons. Could not of asked for a better instructor, so if you want a pleasant learning experience and to get on the road quickly look no further!

Fantastic experience: Stuart is a fantastic instructor! He's responsive, clear and always thinking about how best to teach the student he's working with. I came to him for a series of refreshers after not driving for 12 years. I was very nervous about driving and definitely not a natural. He was incredibly patient and considerate. Whenever I made a mistake he took the time to work out why I got confused and correct any underlying misunderstandings. He really put thought into how to help me overcome a mental block around roundabouts and designed a series of routes to build me up gradually. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had refresher lessons with Stuart having not driven for 12 years. It was my first time driving an automatic car. Stuart was professional at every step. He was very calm and measured and built my confidence despite my nervousness. He gave me lots of tips and advice that has been really helpful in improving my driving and which I will use every time I drive a car. He is honest and signed me off as competent to get back out on the road after 3 great lessons (I was suggesting 4 lessons but he insisted it wasn't necessary). I have looked forward to driving for the first time ever and had my last lesson driving on the motorways to Wales ( I have never been brave enough to go on the motorway before). Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today (first one with Stuart, second ever)! After having had loads of lessons on a manual car and failing my first test last year, I was feeling pretty down about driving and I was afraid of making silly mistakes. However, I quickly became confident and stopped second guessing myself with Stuart’s help and encouragement. He was very patient and a lovely person altogether which I think took the pressure off me and helped me get better rather than being stuck on my mistakes. The last lesson we had and the drive today were the best I’ve done so I think it shows that no matter how nervous I might feel, I’m a good & confident driver now and very thankful to get to this point! Fantastic experience: Having not driven in some years but with a manual full license I needed refresher lessons and to learn automatic driving differences before purchasing a car for the first time. Stuart was great at getting me readjusted with driving, space distance reading for mirrors, UK road markings and regaining confidence. His approach of having lessons be two hours rather than 60 minutes is a faster way to fully immerse yourself into driving and (re)gaining skills. I also found the motorway lesson to be really useful, as well as the practical advice he provides for long trips etc. I would definitely recommend Stuart for any friend looking to get back into driving or for switching to automatic.

Fantastic experience: Stuart is by far the most amazing driving instructor ever! I first starting driving in a manual car with a driving instructor that was rude and made me feel useless. Then I managed to get in contact with Stuart, I was a driver who was always anxious to the point I didn’t believe I would get behind the wheel again. Stuart proved to me that it is okay to make mistakes and how to learn from them. I became a lot more confident and comfortable with driving. It’s clear to see that trying to find a decent instructor who truly cares about their students is hard. Stuart on the other hand is the complete opposite. He was more confident of my skills than I was of myself. He is a very patient, honest, kind and understanding instructor. Please just don’t opt for someone else because they’re cheaper. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning to drive with Stuart. I felt very lucky to have found him when i did! I came to him needing to make a lot of progress and he was able to pick up on what improvements I needed to make straight away, coming up with routes which targeted all areas. Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to get a space with Stuart to take me for some lessons before my test today. I had tried without any luck to get any instructor with availability at such short notice. Stuart moved things around and accommodated me to take me for 3hrs the day before my test Stuart noticed my weaknesses almost immediately and we worked on them together. He was very patient and paid attention to detail. Stuart took me around the area where i was to have my test and made me feel at ease as my nerves always kick in when i start. At the end of the 3hrs I felt I’d really improved and felt confident I would pass my test the next day and he wished me luck and also showed me some videos that further made me feel very confident for my test. The videos Stuart shared with me were really detailed and amazing. I went for my test and i just imagined Stuart was there seeing what i was doing and i remembered vividly everything he showed me. And I'm pleased to say it felt like Stuart knew all the places the examiner was going to take me,because i was there the day before and remembered all the corrections. I passed my test amazingly with no surprises. Thankyou so much Stuart you're spectacular and a magician to be honest. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Stuart is an amazing driving instructor - definitely would recommend to anyone! I was incredibly anxious about learning to drive and had put it off for a long time after failing years ago. Stuart is incredibly calm and patient in the car and was always really encouraging. He made me feel as prepared as possible for the test and has lots of resources his students can access with videos of how to do difficult roundabouts etc, which were especially useful for me as I didn't have anyone to practice with in between lessons. Now feeling confident driving and passed today :) thanks so much Stuart!

If you’re looking for a dynamic, progressive, knowledgeable and fun instructor look no further. I tried years ago but never thought I’d finally pass. I really couldn’t recommend Stuart highly enough. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lessons with Stuart made me a much more confident and capable driver. If it wasn’t for him and his teaching, I wouldn’t have passed my test today. I had a long break from driving lessons and never drove in Bristol before. In all honesty, I absolutely despised driving before I started driving with Stuart because I felt that I was extremely bad at it. Due to this, I was dubious about getting back on the roads, but with my driving test coming up in only a couple of weeks’ time, I had no choice. I really feel like the luckiest person to have found Stuart at that time. He truly made driving enjoyable for me. He was fully committed to helping me get my licence, even with the time pressure, and went above and beyond in his attempt with great success. Fantastic experience: Stuart is an amazing driving instructor. He helped me pass my test today with one minor, which I thought I'd never do after I'd failed years ago and built up a huge phobia. He's extremely calm, clear and genuinely thinks of everything you as an individual need to be safe on the road (including super helpful videos on his website to prepare for the test routes), and is great fun to chat to as well! Fantastic experience: Stuart has been a lifesaver! He’s an incredible driving instructor. He was patient, friendly and always giving helpful advice. When I wasn’t completely confident, Stuart would always reassure me and go through the topic. Honestly, couldn’t have had a better experience and I always looked forward to my lessons. I really had to build up my confidence as I’ve failed 3 driving test in the past, when I had a different driving instructor. Managed to pass today with 0 mistakes!!! Highly recommended!
