Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Lendrum’s driving school has been an awesome experience and I’d highly recommend! My confidence has grown so much since being with Lendrums and with support and guidance from my instructor Tony Walsh I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: An absolutely fantastic driving school, I moved over to Lendrums after receiving some terrible training elsewhere for my driving instructor training qualification (PDI) John is really really good and has a wealth of knowledge, as an ordit instructor he made sure I was very well prepared for my part 3 which I passed first time. I cannot recommend John highly enough. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Mark E has been such an amazing instructor for my daughter. He is calm, patient, flexible and accommodating. I am delighted with how her confidence grew in his care and instructions. Mark E and my daughter worked together to find appropriate test dates and that makes life so much easier for me! Fantastic experience: I took my lessons with Moshgan and can’t recommend her enough! Such a calming and engaging experience and she holds a lot of knowledge! I passed first time with her and am very grateful she helped me get through my nerves. She definitely believes in you as her student and it’s nice to have an instructor willing to go above and beyond to help you pass! Communication was always perfect and I cannot recommend her or the driving school enough!

Fantastic experience: I was very lucky to have Jenny as a driving instructor. As an anxious driver, she was very patient and informative and gave me all the skills I needed to pass. She is so lovely and made me feel very comfortable even in stressful environments I knew she’d never put me in a position I couldn’t handle. Fantastic experience: Franklin is a gem! I got paired with him when my original teacher left the job last minute. I have a couple months till my test and had 0 confidence. Franklin has very structured lesson plans, a calm demeanour and extensive knowledge. If it wasn’t for Franklin I don’t think I would have passed!

My instructor Jenny was very wonderful guiding me through the lessons and helping me to change all my bad habits towards driving. I was able to pass my driving test successfully and easy. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Lendrums enough. I have just passed my ADI part 3 and I could not have done it without the exceptional training of John. He was kind, friendly and professional throughout and was always there when I needed him. No question is a silly question. A massive thank you for helping me to achieve my dream job.

Fantastic experience: I had Jen as my instructor - i was a bag of nerves. She has been brilliant and so patient with me, she very quickly got to know my quirks and what would set me off or what eased my anxiety and worked through it with me. Having done lessons twice before and given up she gave me the confidence to keep going! I was absaloutley terrified of driving my partners big car but she encouraged me and i can now! Not only did Jen teach me to drive, I was suffering with post partem anxiety and separation anxiety with my baby daughter and she massively helped me overcome this too. I will miss our weekly chats.. but forever greatful.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience with Adrian Lupașcu as a driving instructor has been disappointing. Despite spending both time and money, the quality of instruction did not meet our expectations. My son left the lessons feeling unsatisfied with the teaching, and we did not feel that the lessons were effective in helping him progress as a driver. We expected better from the school and unfortunately, this experience did not deliver.

Fantastic experience: Ive loved having lessons with my instructor. I liked that I could go into my lesson and enjoy it then feel nervous every lesson, I felt like I actually learnt something and from that I managed to pass my test. I even felt more comfortable having my instructor in the car with me during my test. Thank you mark!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend my driving instructor Mr. Ara, he is an excellent driving instructor. He is very patient, experienced and explained very detailed during my driving lessons. Not only did he teach me how to drive like other instructors, he even explained in detail why I needed to do that. I told him that I was getting lost every time I left a roundabout and it was a big problem, he not only taught me how to drive, he helped me solve the problem and explained it to me very clearly. He didn’t waste my time and money at all, Mr. Ara was happier than me when I passed my driving test on my first attempt because I only made two minor faults. I still can‘t believe how lucky I am to have Mr. Ara as my instructor, really grateful to Lendrum and my wonderful instructor Mr. Ara.

Fantastic experience: I started with ‘Marie’ in January this year. Having had a few lessons with my old driving instructor. Transferring to Marie was the best decision I could’ve made for my progress in driving. Marie was so patient and kind to me. Doubting my driving skills was my downfall but slowly and surely Marie helped me out of that! I highly recommend her as an instructor. Passed today with 2 minors.

Fantastic experience: I had Marie teach me and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! She was so patient, so kind and so informative. I’d always look forward to my lessons! I passed first time thanks to her knowledge and teaching! I’d also like to say, I had a lot of anxiety as a queer person but she made it a very safe and inclusive environment. I’m over the moon, highly reccomend lendrums and even more so Marie! I’m actually going to miss my lessons with her.

Fantastic experience: I passed both my theory and practical tests first time with Marie as my instructor. This time last year I was involved in a head-on collision and Marie supported my driving journey from the very beginning of my lessons right through until I passed my test, she was so kind and compassionate the entire time. I couldn't have done it without her and couldn't recommend her as an instructor more! 5 stars isn't enough!!

She always gave me confidence to clear my Driving exam in first attempt with her and she was right. She knows my weaknesses very well she worked really hard on that. Fantastic experience: Hamed is an amazing driving instructor. Always smiley and warm he made me feel calm and relaxed. He was focusing on my weaknesses with patience and worked out the best ways for me to remember things. He quickly built up my confidence and I was really feeling safe to enjoy being on the road. He was able to work around my schedule which made having lessons even much easier! Cannot thank him enough!!! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Overall my experience has been brilliant. Farid was my instructor and he couldn’t have been more professional. I had a strict time frame in order to get my license and he provided me with a clear structure in order to get this done. I had regular lessons and was taught everything I needed and more in order to be confident behind the wheel. Farid is patient, constructive and allowed me to drive independently whilst giving me nods in the right direction. I previously had multiple driving instructors but wasn’t 100% happy with the service, Farid however made driving seem relaxed and I built up confidence quickly and I passed first time with Ledrums. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience with Ledrums and I’m very thankful to Farid for gaining my confidence and being patient, ultimately made my learning experience a positive one.

Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to Nathan who is a very meticulous instructor and is highly knowledgeable about every detail on the right way of car handling and driving. I am blind in my right eye which made me feel extremely nervous and Nathan made sure I understood all aspects of driving standards while ensuring I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the learning process. He has done a great job in helping me pass my driving test!!!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended John when I expressed an interest in becoming an ADI and I feel so blessed that I was. From our first meeting John was funny, passionate, personable and knowledgeable. I felt completely at ease from the get go and making the decision to start my training was easy. John has 100%+ supported me through the entire process, encouraging me through all of my many wobbles. When I have felt I haven't understood something we have worked together to find a solution of how we can make the understanding "stick". His willingness to learn from me as much as me from him has been a complete game-changer...I know others who haven't been as lucky. I am certain he has despaired of me many times (and has gained more grey hairs) but he has never once made me feel like my endless questions and worries are a burden. I wholeheartedly recommend John to anyone considering venturing down the ADI path. You would not regret it!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Matt calmed my nerves from the first lesson. Having previously being with another instructor and having a break from learning, it was a breath of fresh air to be learning with such a fantastic driving instructor. Matt made me feel confident and reassured me that I could do it. His calm approach made me realise I can drive which successfully meant that I passed my test. I highly recommend Matt at Lendrum’s to anybody! Especially those with Nerves.

Fantastic experience: Completing a refresher course with Matt from Lendrums has given my driving confidence exactly the boost I needed after a long break! Matt took me through everything I needed to get my driving back up to speed including teaching me motorways and the manoeuvres which were not on the syllabus when I passed my test. Matt has been very professional whilst teaching, but also friendly. It has been a pleasure to learn from him. I absolutely recommend Lendrums driving school, I had been with 2 separate national driving schools and 1 independent school prior to passing my test 4 years ago and Matt from Lendrums has been the best instructor I have had in all that experience.

Fantastic experience: 4 years ago I tried an intensive course for a manual car and failed the test twice .. it took me so long to get the courage to go again even in an automatic. Luckily I was graced with what I can only say is an amazing instructor Christine plews. Your patience is commendable and your teaching style so great that finally my whole way living is going to change for the better! Highly recommend this wonderful lady to anyone who wants to learn automatic. Thank you for helping me pass

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with only 1 minor, all thanks to Christine. From my first nervous lesson right through to my last, she's been wonderful; always upbeat, gives clear instructions, always reminding of the important little things, remained calm when i'd made a mistake, explains why I didn't get into that parking space, tells me how I can fit perfectly into that bay the next time. Practice makes perfect and every few lessons we'd go back over a manoeuvre or two to keep me in check, even turn-in-the-road which I really didn't like (funnily enough I had to do one on my test). I honestly believe I wouldn't have done as well as I did if it wasn't for Christine, a brilliant teacher and a joy to be around.

Fantastic experience: I have had Mark Bailey as my instructor, I came to him for lessons as I was having no luck passing my test with a different instructor from a different school. Mark had taught my sisters, cousins and friends and I would recommend him to anyone. Mark has been a great teacher and I would not have passed without his expertise help. Mark is a real credit to the school and I am so happy and grateful for his teachings.

Fantastic experience: Driving with Lendrums has been brilliant, having passed my test today at my first attempt. John was very helpful when I first emailed them, and put me in touch with my instructor Craig. Craig was a massive help and has helped me become confident behind the wheel, whilst having a real understanding of what's going on around me. If you're looking to start learning then you'd be best of spending your money with Lendrums.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Nevin was absolutely lovely. Very patient with me as a nervous first time driver, and gave me clear, easy to understand instructions for learning. She was quite tough on me, but only because she knew I was capable of more than I thought! Very good teaching especially for manoeuvres. She also has a great understanding of the test style so I felt as prepared as possible for it.

He's very friendly and patient, and flexible in accommodating your needs. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Mark Gibbs is a fantastic driving instructor, he really takes the time to go out of his way and explain and help you. He breaks everything down to show you how to do things correctly. He went out of his way with me to pick me up from my work (over 10miles away from my house) on an almost weekly basis. I really couldn't have passed had it not been for the commitment and dedication Mark shown to me throughout my time learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Very little. My driving instructor John was absolutely exceptional in getting his point across in order to help me progress.He made sure to point out all the good things I did in order to build my confidence and by the time I took my test I was fully prepared. I found him and his service to be of the highest quality and at a reasonable price(compared to others i researched) and will be recommending Lendrum s Driving School to everybody whom I know.absoloutely fab!keep up the good work

Fantastic experience: Awesome instructor (I had John) and passed first time with only two minors. I had just under 20 lessons and had originally resigned myself to never learning to drive. Completely turned around after only a few lessons with the instructor adapting the lesson to my pace and existing knowledge. Flexible with dates and times to suite me. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Apparently I never had the time to learn to drive until I very much needed it. I put the search into Google and managed to book my lessons with John, all based on top reviews and my intuition, bingo. The automatic Mini and the best instructor I could wish for took me all the way to FIRST time pass result. John was professional, patient and encouraging. We polished all my little struggles along the way, there was never awkward silence in the car or unanswered question or message. Thank you John Lendrum for your instructions and reassurance! I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and look forward signing up for Pass Plus. It was fun, thank you!

Fantastic experience: After being taught by John Lendrum I don't think I could have gone to anyone else. His patience and humour made learning to drive fun and I will 100% go back to Lendrums for motorway lessons. I would recommend to anyone at all who would like to drive. Fantastic experience: I've been trying to drive since I moved to Southampton, almost 4 years ago. In that time I've been through eight instructors, who basically deemed me unteachable. However, John managed to see me through to my pass, in much less than a year on one lesson per week. When I joined John he was very settled with me, and kept a calm atmosphere. One of the best things John does is attempt to make you think differently, I struggled with parallel parking and he offered several ways of tackling the maneuver, and on the test that was the maneuver I was given. John always managed to find ways of making me feel comfortable and more confident when tackling things I struggled with, I can't recommend this instructor enough.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with my driving lessons with Mark so far. I've had terrible experiences with 3 other driving instructors, and came very close to giving up completely. He has given me a great deal of confidence on the road, got rid of those bad habits and my test is coming up very soon! He re taught me the correct way of doing things and stopped my bad habits. I could not have asked for a better teacher! Highly recommended if you are a bit nervous, or as me a little older! John has been amazing and has really helped and supported me throughout all my lessons with him raising my confidence further. Fantastic experience: I was horribly scared of learning to drive, but John was an incredibly patient, encouraging instructor. The lessons were paced in such a way that I never felt overloaded, and he took the time to think of other ways to explain things when I had trouble the first time around.
