Fantastic experience: David was always very patient and kind and would never raise his voice no matter what situation and would always arrive either spot on time or early.I would not have been able to pass without him and I totally recommend him as an instructor.

Negative experience: Shouting at people crossing the road is not a good idea when your name is plastered all over your car especially when you have a, student in the car and you let your student cut the corner

Negative experience: Instructors such as David are poor at helping their students build confidence and basically tell them that they are not good enough if they are a slight bit anxious. This instructor puts you down so much if you make a slight mistake, you will go home and cry. If anything he will ruin your confidence.

Negative experience: I had a sad expierience with the driving instructor David Chaffe ...didn't received any encouragement in a first driving lessons and worse in a second driving lessons- when I was already in tears due to the whole second lesson was negative only pointing out incorrect details no positive encouragement received ,didn't talked through what can be improved. Very unprofessional was from his side to ask me -if my previous driving instructor was Handicapped ???I could not believe my ears to this sarcastic question...After two not enjoyable driving lessons with David Chaffe I will never return to Princess driving school Bournemouth ..Luckily there are out there other driving schools & very professional driving instructors so I will continue my driving lessons.Personaly I would never recommend Driving instructor David Chaffe

Fantastic experience: Having seen princes driving around and knowing their excellent reputation locally, I decided to go with them. David was very attentive to all aspects of driving and the things that come up in a test (both practical and theory) meaning that I felt confident in my abilities when it came to test day. The way David assisted me on test day to get in the right frame of mind was excellent and I would recommend princes to everyone I know looking to learn to drive as the lesson structure and teaching is second to none.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time with Princes, and in just 4 months, learning to drive only in my instructor's car. My instructor was David Inns and he was excellent. He made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel and was very patient and reassuring when it came to the aspects of driving where I struggled. We always managed to find a time for lessons around my busy 6th Form schedule. I will happily recommend Princes School of Motoring and David to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Negative experience: Was pulled out on by a learner driver under instruction from this firm, they didn't look. When I sounded my horn to advise them I had to do an emergency stop the supposed instructor jestured a hand signal at me and called me a #@nker! How can this man be a good example to new drivers? Take my advise and spend your money on a professional company.

Negative experience: After over 16 hours of tuition with Pete I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I've been let down on 4 or 5 occasions just an hour before my lesson which is far from ideal when you're wanting to pass as quickly as possible. I've not heard from him since my last lesson which is disappointing considering I have spent nearly £400 with him. I was also not informed of all vital documentation needed when taking my theory test which caused me to turn up to the test center without my provisional licence. I had to rebook my test and I lost the booking fee. I'm now using another motoring school and I have much more confidence in my driving. I thought all driving schools taught in the same way but from my experiences it's clear that this is not the case, not to mention having an instructor that you can rely on makes all the difference
