I had switched from another instructor having found him here being a local - he is laid back, punctual, good at spotting your weaknesses and gives right amount of praises and encouragement. Deffinately not one of those irritable hysteric type. And I love the brand new lesson car Toyota Yaris GR Sport - very nice and easy car to drive!

Fantastic experience: After having failed my driving test three times with other instructors and taking a near 5 year long break from driving, I decided to face my fears and get back on the road with Colindale Driving School. It was one of the most nerve-wracking decision I’d made, as whenever I sat on the driver’s seat I would tense up and my hands would start shaking. But after doing a number of lessons with Ebtekar, I managed to get my confidence back and understand better how to control my nerves while on the road. I made significant progress with Ebtekar and managed to pass at my first attempt! I’d highly recommend this driving school if you struggle with anxiety due to driving as it’ll feel less like you’re sat with an instructor and more like you’re chatting along with a friend who’s helping you learn! Although l had some driving experiences in Asian countries, the road conditions are very different and challenging in UK. He taught me a list of techniques that are helpful not only for the driving test but also my future driving. The driving lessons and mock tests let me quickly identify the potential errors and mistakes in the driving test. My driving skills were significantly improved before the test, and I eventually passed the driving test in Borehamwood at my first attempt with only 1 minor.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend colindale driving school. The instructor is flexible when arranging lessons and this was great as I am a Nurse and work 12.5hr shifts. Also, this instructor teaches well and teaches not just for the test but also to be aware for my own safety when I start driving on my own. I've had other instructors but passed first time with him.
