Fantastic experience: I passed first time with John as my instructor. He is really patient - I am quite(very) nervous and he was very calming if I got flustered. We covered everything well and he made sure I was ready for my test. He gives very clear instruction which made my lessons very useful. 5/5 great instructor !

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with 1 minor and 26 hours, I want to say that I’ve had the best learning experience with uncle and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for calm and friendly instructor. What sets him apart from my previous instructor (2 hours of lessons) is how organised his lessons are and his punctuality. He does not lie or sugar coat your driving ability and is very honest with where you are at so you don’t waste money on a test. Every lessons is well spent on improving your areas of weakness and he ensures you are practising your driving where your test is. Parking has never been so easy and simple from someone who didn’t know a thing about parking. All resources and extra reading is also provided for those who want to get ahead. Fantastic experience: After having so many bad experiences with other instructors, learning with John has been an absolute breath of fresh air. After failing 4 times, I realised that my instructor was no good and I passed the first time after training with him! Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today after 40 hours lessons with John. I can't even begin to thank JM driving school and John for helping me through the learning process. I started as a complete beginner in April and here I am now, a better driver than I was. John is a very compassionate and calm person. My biggest problem has always been my anxiety, but John always encouraged me to relax, take a deep breath, and keep going even when it's though! I am merely a new driver and, as they always say, big achievements come one step at a time, one day at a time. Fantastic experience: John was such a good teacher, patient and thankfully flexible if you’ve got commitments. He taught me everything I needed for my test. I felt comfortable and confident when it came to my test and not anxious. We even discussed the theory which helped me pass that first time as well. I passed my driving test also first time with a one hour lesson a week with only 4 faults. John is a credit and I have already referred a few people to him

Fantastic experience: I came to John with experience and had failed my test twice up to that point with another instructor. But after a 5 lessons John helped me fix my bad driving habits and built up my confidence for the test. Negative experience: Incredibly unprofessional business practices, will ghost potential and existing customers, or agree a lesson date and time before double booking someone else in that place and not inform you. Better to go with someone else who won’t take pleasure in wasting hours of your time

Fantastic experience: Passed my test yesterday on my first attempt and I owe it all to James’ instruction. He was so observant and helpful, constantly giving me the constructive feedback that I needed to improve! Leeds isn’t the easiest place to learn to drive and he made it easy to navigate with useful techniques that hugely improved my driving. Fantastic experience: With just 5 hours of lesson with John, I was able to pass my test first time. I’ve had 5 hours of lesson from other instructor but John is one of the best, patient and on point instructor out there. He keeps a good record of the progress of his every student, making sure everything has been taught, but nothing is more significant than going out and about with a very professional instructor that guides you patiently in every turn. Fantastic experience: How do I start with how great this driving instructor was. I had been through 3 different driving instructors before I found John and after my first lesson with him I knew he'd be the one to get me passed. He never made me feel stupid like previous instructors and was very calm and collect through it all. If I made mistakes he'd pull over and explain why and what I was to do to correct them. He never cancelled on me and fit me in as close to my test as possible even though he would otherwise have been busy with family occasions. Another thing is that I could trust him with my money and he would turn up on time or even early for every lesson. Fantastic experience: I passed for the first time in Harehills on Thursday. I can't thank James enough for being such a calm and supportive instructor. I was really nervous about learning to drive but I felt my confidence and ability growing with every lesson. He was always encouraging my independence on the road and pushing me with constructive criticisms. Even though my lessons were sometimes a week or two apart it felt like we were starting from where we left off which helped my lessons flow really well. All in all I couldn't recommend them enough. Negative experience: 2* as driving was good to learn but unfortunately I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and let the instructor know 1day 3hours before my lesson, as I wasn't able to message sooner as above stated in hospital and least thing on the mind was a lesson, when explaining the reason i still wasn't allowed a reschedule which seems unreasonable. Yet as stated in there site 'If accident or something happen with your instructors car or breakdown, if he or she suffering from health, your instructor will not pay of your lesson or your test' meaning its fine for them? bit of double standards really?

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this driving school through a friend who recently passed. I started off with James as my first and only instructor. Managed to pass first time with only 10 lessons.. He is very calm and helpful even in stressful situations; able to guide me through my mistakes and progress to passing my test. Fantastic experience: When I came to John I was with 3 year of not driving at all, I could barely remember what each pedal does, besides that I learned to drive in a different country with totally different rules (Including driving in the other side of the road ). He was very patient, objective and honest throughout our lessons making sure that I understood my mistakes and how to fix them. He also helped me out with my confidence making sure to let me know when I did things well. Negative experience: so john is the 3rd instructor that I've had things i thought was going well he encouraged me to book my test which i did. i booked 5 lessons with him and once the lessons finished i wanted to rebook 5 other lessons before my test, but all of a sudden john has just purposely started to ignore my text without letting me know nothing he's just left me in the dark knowing full well that my test is soon, the reason i know he was ignoring me is because after nearly 2 weeks of texting him and awaiting a reply i decided to text off another number as a new customer and within minutes he'd replied. its absolutely shameful how you could do this to someone john before their test, at least have the decency to let me know you dont want to do lessons with me for whatever reason rather than ignore me. I really wouldn't recommend if this is how John goes about his business.
