Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test in the first attempt & cannot thank Surinder sir enough! He’s the BEST in the job! I had very less time to take the test, in the first session he told me he would take me to the test only if I improve. After half the sessions he told I wasn’t ready & I actually wasn’t. But I told him I wished to continue lessons & did a lot of practise. A day before the test he told me I’d improved & that he would take me to the test. I trusted his judgement when he told me I wasn’t ready, he gave me pointers to improve on which I worked on & the day before he told me I’d pass & he was right! He is very punctual, professional & highly experienced. He’s very adaptive to schedules & is very approachable & accommodating. He made sure I was calm & confident during every session by addressing issues in my driving one after another systematically. Also, he explains everything in detail by drawing diagrams & has a collection of images, maps on an iPad that’ll help us understand better. I went from knowing 0 lane rules to passing in a few sessions! I recommend this driving school any day.

Fantastic experience: I am happy to share that I passed my driving test on my first attempt and all thanks goes to my instructor Surinder. He was really helpful and motivating during my classes. I was not much confident in the beginning , but he helped me to achieve good driving skills by teaching from basics . He is really accommodating to his schedules and very supportive. Fantastic experience: Surinder paaji is an amazing instructor! He is meticulous, highly knowledgable and constructively critical -- all in a very calm and composed way. His lessons focussing on the test routes and the mock tests before the test date were all about polishing even the minor mistakes I could have made. He answered any queries, hypothetical situations that may occur while you are driving, in such a lucid manner that I was confident of driving anywhere. Fantastic experience: I passed first attempt with my Instructor Surinder whom i was referred to by my university friend. He was very calm and had very easy way to teach especially with the manoeuvres, I mastered parallel parking with him and i will say this i do it with confidence all the times, I really recommend him as he will teach and explain everything and you will get to go to all the test routes. I had trust issues with instructors due to previous experience but Surinder made me so much as ease and more confidence which is what made me pass

Fantastic experience: Surinder is an amazing instructor! He takes the time to understand and adapt to how you learn. If you don’t understand something-it’s not just brushed over, he will do it until you’re comfortable with it. He is very patient and gives you the opportunity to identify your mistakes first before he says it to ensure if you notice you’ve made the error or if you didn’t realise it was an error which was very helpful for myself! Fantastic experience: The best driving instructor ever!! I came to Surinder after a bad experience with a previous instructor, but in my first lesson with him there was a huge difference in not only my driving, but my confidence too! He has an amazing teaching style - demonstrates with diagrams where things go wrong, how to improve and patiently gives you as many opportunities as you need to correct yourself. He gives so much useful knowledge and tips to help you do things like manoeuvres perfectly first try. If you find you struggle with specific things, like mini-roundabouts for me, he gave detailed guidance to help perfect it and before I knew it, I did perfectly without even thinking about it. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and what is expected by an examiner; like test routes, manoeuvres, but he also teaches you how to drive feeling like a normal road user and not just with the aim of passing the test. I could not recommend enough!!!

Fantastic experience: As an older driver, I was very nervous about learning to drive, but Surinder helped build my confidence and was incredibly patient with helping me to understand things I was having difficulty with. He adapted his teaching methods in order to help me learn more easily, used visual aids and notes to show me how I could improve my driving and made sure we practiced test routes until I was confident on them. I remember my first driving lesson with him and he explained everything so well to me and had been doing all the way through till I had gotten my test passed. Fantastic experience: I have had many driving instructors in the past, however he was the best Instructor I have ever had . He was very understanding of all my difficulties and helped me through them at all times .He is very calm and explains everything very well with the use of diagrams when it makes it easier to understand . He has always given me very good feedback on how to improve and things I should look out for when driving independently in the future . As someone that found driving very hard , especially when going through big roundabouts , he helped me understand the lanes better with the use of diagrams as it made it easier for me to visualise it . Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a great driving instructor to either start or continue your car journey then surinder is your MAN! I had previous experience years back from a different instructor but Surinder is in a class of his own. Having him as my instructor allowed me to pass first time with his extensive knowledge of EVERYTHING. He’s a patient man who took time to explain if I did something wrong and how to tackle this in the future, this really shaped me into a great driver. Fantastic experience: I have had many teachers/coaches in my life, but few were at par with Surinder. From day 1, he made me feel extremely comfortable and boosted my confidence. He is extremely professional: always punctual, follows his students' schedules and finds time for them and ensures all legalities are met. His experience is reflected in his knowledge of the driving code and his awareness about the tough spots in the areas where he operates. Fantastic experience: Shout out Surinder, I was recommended to Surinder by a friend and she had told me that he was a great instructor and that she had passed on the first attempt so I decided to give Surinder a call. Surinder was always calm, the lessons were always enjoyable and he taught me all the test routes. But he doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test, he teaches you how to actually be a good driver. He completely transformed my way of driving, a week before the test I got 5 dangerous mistakes during the lesson and when I did the test I passed first time! Fantastic experience: Brilliant driving instructor, can’t recommend him enough! Passed my test yesterday with no minors at all, being the 19th student at driving academy to do so. I’ve had previous instructors who weren’t teaching me correctly, but as soon as I moved I could really see the difference. I always felt comfortable on lessons and genuinely enjoyed having them every week, was so patient with me when I didn’t understand certain things brilliant for someone who can be anxious in situations with a new person. Don’t hesitate to book! It’s been the best thing I’ve ever done the pass rates really do speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience: He is an amazing driving instructor. He passed me first time, i am an 18 year old and he got me to speed in 5 lessons. Not only did he pass me in such a short amount of time, but at first i wanted to do my test in Warwick however, at the last minute a changed to Coventry and once again he got me up to speed. As an 18 year old i dont have a lot of money to be spending on driving lessons, Surinder made sure to get the best out of the lessons that i could afford and he gives a much more affordable price than others. I recommend him to any young teen who is wanting to drive. The first time i got into that car i was struggling with my anxiety however, Surinder made me feel so much better and gave me all the time i needed. You can have jokes with him which of course is very good because who wants someone who you cant have a laugh with and overall having a laugh just makes learning so much easier. Another thing i would like to add to is the cars, 2 VWs, you will be learning in style. Cheers Surrender i owe you a beer.

Fantastic experience: Great driving instructor. Passed first time. Always gave me the time I needed and made sure I was well prepared on all of my weak areas before my test. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I was feeling a lot or anxiety when it came to larger roundabouts and areas with loads of traffic but he made me feel very comfortable and confident in my skills and made sure we did everything over and over again until it was perfect. Very grateful for him and all of his help.

Fantastic experience: My dad (who passed with Surinder a couple years ago) recommended him to me when I was looking for instructors. Surinder helped me feel more confident on the road and taught me little tricks of how to carry out manoeuvres which I will carry on using! He was always clear on instructions and explanations and so the quality of the lessons were consistently high. Fantastic experience: Top instructor passed first time!!! I would highly recommend Surinder He is a fantastic driving instructor who clearly explains all aspects of driving and the rules of the road. Surinder is calm and patient which put me in a good position to drive with ease. On my first lesson i was able to head to ring roads and roundabouts without any previous driving experience ever. Surinder made every lesson enjoyable and i was able to learn something new every time. When doing manoeuvres he taught me very well and the first time i had done it i smashed it and i continued to do so throughout my time driving, he teaches very well and is easy to understand and will let you take your time when learning. Fantastic experience: Surinder is a brilliant, patient driving instructor who I would highly recommend to any leaner! I was a bit nervous about driving (as I had some lessons 14 years ago but hadn’t been in a car since), however I soon felt confident & safe thanks to Surinder. My partner and I were both taught by Surinder and we both passed our tests first time round! He has a clear and encouraging teaching style and had lots of practical tips that help make the test manoeuvres seem easy. Fantastic experience: Surinder is definitely the driving instructor you should choose! Both my husband and I were super happy with lessons from him. We both got the driver licences after taking classes from him. I had a driving license before. I tried to take lessons from the RED, but after 15 hours the RED instructor made me confused with everything about driving. Surinder saved my experience. He made roundabouts easy to understand. He is always positive yet sharp with possible reasons that can improve driving. He knows the priority when giving instructions. Each class with him was enjoyable. I found a test slot last minute — he was willing cater for this situation. He took the test more seriously than I did and made sure the car was in an excellent condition before the test. I am extremely grateful for everything he did. In a nutshell, I would definitely recommend Surinder to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this instructor as not only was he calm, proactive with teaching and patient, he allows each pupil to discuss any issues with driving and fix them as a means to go on. Two of my cousins, and myself, have passed with him and it’s a testament to his professional attitude and vast knowledge of predictable test routes. With hard work and preparation from both parties (myself and my instructor), I was able to pass first time after 2 months of learning. Fantastic experience: I don’t give out recommendations easily, but I recommend Surinder if you’re looking to learn to drive - amazing instructor !!! He doesn’t just teach you how to pass your driving test, but he teaches you how to drive. For many years I was put off driving due to previous driving instructors, because of this my confidence with driving was at an all time LOW !! But with Surinders calmness and encouragement he built my confidence back up, and I managed to pass FIRST TIME !! Fantastic experience: You should be lucky to get trained by him!!. He not only teaches for you to pass the test but to be a confident driver on road. He never wastes a second in the slot given for you and makes sure you are perfect for the tests. When you do a mistake, he doesnt scold you or upset you like others, he understand that we are learners and we are tend to make mistakes when we learn, he observes us and explain it in a way that we understand the mistake and doesnt repeat it again. I was trained by a different trainer earlier and I didnt have confident to drive myself. Now I can proudly say I can drive by myself and all credits goes to him. Fantastic experience: Great instructor! Both me and my mum took lessons from him and I confidently passed on my first attempt. He was extremely patient and great at explaining in detail anything I was unsure of. I also had the goal of passing the exam before the end of September, but I ended up taking the driving exam mid September and passing so if you have a timeline that you want to stick with and pass the exam first try, this is the instructor for you!

Fantastic experience: When my previous instructor couldn't fit me in his schedule, a friend recommended Surinder to me. He was able to provide a flexible time frame to do lessons just in time for my driving test. I was able to pass first time with Surinder, having only done around between 8-10 hours worth of lessons. We focused on roundabouts around the Coventry test routes and parking manoeuvres, in such a short time I have learnt alot from him, not only how to pass the test, but to also be a safe driver on the road. Fantastic experience: I had taken classes from Surinder last year. I was new to the UK and the thing I was most scared of (including my job prospects/medical exams/childcare/etc etc) was getting a driving license in the UK!! Having heard the horror stories- I was preparing to give the exam a few times! One of my friends recommended him and he told me he would want me to be ready and only then give the exam. He was so calm during classes that I was always relaxed. He was very flexible and was always able to take out some time to fit me in his schedule. His input was always to the point and he kept telling me good things as well to boost my confidence. I passed the exam in one go and will remain grateful to him for that! Fantastic experience: Thanks Surinder, it was great having you as my driving instructor. With him, I appeared for the test and passed it the fist time itself. I had difficulties in managing roundabouts, but he explained me the concepts well in theory and made me to do it practically which absolutely boosted my confidence to great levels. Coming form overseas having to learn the rules and regulations in UK is quite a task in itself and to perfect your driving skills it takes a lot of effort. Having come in with an international license, the rules and regulations regarding driving in the UK were quite daunting. Today I became the 11th consecutive student of Surinder's to pass their driving test since the most recent lockdown. I passed first time, and honestly wouldn't have been able to do so without his help. He has always been a calm, professional and encouraging instructor who has given me a lot of confidence when driving. His attention to detail regarding roundabouts, junctions, and manoeuvres has allowed me to become highly-skilled in areas which many drivers find daunting. He is without a doubt the ideal instructor, and you would be incredibly hard pushed to find anyone else on par with him. We chose him based on a personal recommendation from a previous student, and certainly made the right decision!

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Driving Academy for those who wish to pass the UK Practical driving test in first attempt in flying colours... Today was my practical drving test and I passed in the very first attemp!! All credits completely goes to Surinder (Surinder Baiyya) who was equally committed and dedicated as me to achive my goal. He kept reminding me during the lessons that we both are a team working to achieve the same aim. I sincerely thank him for his professional guidance and fantastic instructions. I made my booking for practical driving test in Warwick on 20/04/2021 and it was very hard to find an instructor at such a short notice who were available/ ready to take me for the test. Thats when I called Driving academy and Surinder immediately agreed for taking me for the test even though his calender was fully booked. He then told me that he is willing to schedule lessons for me even on early mornings (5am) to provide a good training session prior to my test. He has an eagle eye to find all our drawbacks and is exceptional when it comes to teaching and correcting the mistakes. He took me to all the test routes, complicated roundabouts, and mainly focussed on correcting minute errors we could possibly make. Fantastic experience: I had my driving Lessons with Surinder in this academy, and I passed at my first test. He is a super patient instructor and well aware of all the routes in the Coventry and Warwick area. He puts you in many different situations in the city, highways, dual carriage ways, narrow roads, etc. He gives very clear and easy to follow routines and golden tips for all types of parking, driving with or without sat-nav and managing confusing roundabouts and junctions. He’s always on time and values your time as well. I would definitely recommend him for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time!!  I was very lucky to have had Surinder Sembi as my instructor, I wanted to change my Indian driving license to one from UK. Literally first two lessons were like eye opener for me and I realized I had to work quite a lot on multiple things. Still from the very first lesson he has kept me very calm when driving and not nervous, and he has never gotten angry when I had messed up something, instead he was very calm and positive and gave me the confidence to do it again until I can do it at the best standard. I must say being an experienced driver I had picked up couple of bad habits but he helped me to identify those putting me into different situations which eventually helped me a lot to correct it. He would always ask me at the start of each lesson if there was any problems he would work with me so that I could turn the problems into perfections. My test slot was at Nuneaton and I must say even being from Coventry I was literally impressed from his knowledge of different roads and routes which he took me through. Definitely he is quite friendly and supportive  when there were no driving lesson slot available because I was too late to request he was kind enough to accommodate me on even Sundays. Last but not least everything was just executed in 1 month. I must say it was his experience which helped me a lot and I would recommend him highly.
