He is both very patient and has a positive outlook towards his students, which really built my confidence in driving, and led me to achieve a pass. A strong asset especially was his tailoring the lesson to the individual; he was always very focused in terms of how you could improve and his communication of this gave me much better clarity in driving. Likewise he would give credit where credit was due and this was very encouraging. He is prompt and gives you his undivided attention in his instruction which is clear and helpful. This really ensures that if you do make a mistake you understand why and how to move on from it. As importantly he is very friendly and a great person to talk with which keeps you at ease (great in a dense city like Portsmouth), making the lesson time feel like it just flies by!
