Fantastic experience: I had been meaning to complete my HGV class 2 training after failing my practical in April, but I had been putting it off due to financial reasons. The staff were excellent all the way through. They set me up on an assessment for my class 2 to see where I was at for a reasonable fee. The assessment showed I needed more practice as I'd not driven a hgv for the 5 months since the fail. I believed I would not be able to complete my practical as it was expensive which is always disheartening. Elisha, one of the amazing staff took the time and sat down with me to go through the choices in order to complete my practical test and to discuss my concerns. I was given a few options and decided to take part in a short course as I'd already done 20 hours with a different company back in April. I was paired with an instructor called Billy who was a fantastic support. He helped me to feel comfortable and not stressed out in my driving. I'm thrilled to say, I passed my test with 2 minors and I now feel confident in my driving. I could not have done this without the transport training academy and I would highly recommend you to speak to TTA before jumping at other choices. Thank you to everyone involved.

I had Mark as my instructor and wot an absolute top guy he is , he's a credit to the company, took me through everything and more you would need to pass your tests. Fantastic experience: Well organised company From the office staff (Rachel) to the instructors (McCauley and Julie) everything is so Relaxed, no rush everything explain correctly as you can imagine driving a HGV for the first time from a car is quite daunting But these guys know what they are doing. Julie was very informative and Just felt so relaxed driving making my experience an easy one ..The centre is very clean/tidy well looked after you can tell the owner takes pride of his Company with clean vehicles inside and out. If anybody ask me about passing HGV or any higher driving then a car license I will be pointing them in this direction

Every single member of the staff are behind you pushing you to complete your end goal . (mine was my hgv class 2 license) I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this academy to anybody. From day 1 I felt like part of the TTA family it really helped when i was stuck at some points . Fantastic experience: Great company and a very nice group of people everybody is friendly instructors do an amazing job at teaching you the right way passed my class 1 on the 2nd attempt and my class 2 first time round what more can you ask for. Anyone of thinking doing their HGV should use this company i honestly can't fault them for a single thing. The office staff are also amazing and the after support once passing is also very good they will do their absolute best to guide you and get you on your way with your newly chosen career. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else if you really want your HGV licence then look no further you wont be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: First class instruction, very friendly and helpful staff

Fantastic experience: I did the MOD 4 test and passed and the training was great, I was really nervous on the day of the test but the examiner made me feel at ease and gave me plenty of time to answer the questions, the facilities were good, free tea and coffee. Tip, get there early if you want a parking spot otherwise you have to park at the side which is only a 1 minute walk. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I had training with this academy and my instructor mat was brilliant. He always told me when I went wrong he is the one of the best always made me I could pass. They have a lot of time for their students and thanks to mat I passed

Fantastic experience: Bit late adding this, however, as of this message I am employed trucking around in a class 1 all over the country. Absolutely fantastic team at TTA. Did my class 2 with them passed first time under great instruction. Made the decision to do my class 1 with them and again not disappointed. Passed class 1 first time. Under great instruction. Can't praise them enough. If you are looking to get into the industry do not hesitate in contacting. Friendly from start to finish. Many thanks. Ps. My reversing has improved .

Fantastic experience: I booked this place for my husband, it wasn't the cheapest but I had the most confidence and understood what I was getting after speaking to the staff. They were extremely accommodating and fitted my husband in when he had holidays. My husband said the instructors gave clear instructions and after every lesson came home with a spring in his step (he was like the energizer bunny) he passed 1st time ! He then after 6 months wanted to do his class 1 and there really wasn't any other company I would want him to go too! Again smooth easy booking and amazing customer service given. Best thing is he passed 1st time again! A member of staff that took him out one day was outside and when he got out the truck he clapped I thought that was a really beautiful thing to do. I would 100% recommend this place. My nephew booked a different company and 5 months later they haven't even booked his theories! My husband was done and dusted in less time than that!

Fantastic experience: I am planning a Career change from Security to a Driving Trade. I went to a HGV Training provider (Not Naming Them) after a good yap on the old blower they gave me a Deal which was over £2500. I then heard from a friend that the price offered is very high. He then told me of Transport Training Academy which located in Atherton. Next morning i got straight on the blower and had a chat with customer support she then forwarded an email onto the Training Manager (Susan). Susan was very helpful from the word go. I then received an Email detailing a breakdown of the costs for the training package. I was well chuffed with cost of the course which was well under £2000. Without hesitation i got intouch with susan at Transport Training Academy and enrolled in to a HGV Course. I would like to say thanks to the team in welcoming me and making me feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting you all in the near future.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic !! Great instructors, great office staff, very well organised and well communicated. Previous to using TTA I went to red rose to do my class 2 however when going in for my class 1 I was recommended to use TTA and can not fault the qualified instructors. The experience was a lot better than red rose. The place has a more friendly feel and put you at ease and the communication from the office team is a lot better organised! Would like to say a special thanks to Oana, Julie, Jon and Dave for their professionalism throughout. Give this company a try you must if you are considering doing a course! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning how to operate a counter balance forklift truck here and followed that training up with learning how to operate a Hiab with another great instructor. Rachael Scanlin (Superstar) dealt with my queries in a fast and professional manner and sorted everything out for me. Everyone here made me feel really at home and I can't recommend Transport Training Academy enough. The whole layout was very professional. Facilities were all clean and well sign posted and comfortable. Equipment was very good and all covid measures were in place and being followed. They have one of the best pass rates for HGV new drivers, give them a call. Highly recommended
