Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend anyone thinking about going with this company From day 1 it's been a pleasurable experience, previously being with another company having a bad experience I was hesitant in my choice on who I was going to go through the process again with and before any money at all was parted ways I was invited down to see their facilities and what they had to offer, I turned up on a Saturday morning were Leah was welcoming and professional and shown me around, from that visit alone I knew this was the company I was going to go with. Passed my CPC course here 2 weeks before my lessons and test, Colin was great talking us through the process and what was expected on the CPC test. Fast forward 2 weeks to my Class 2 course and meeting Nick and John it was a great experience and I enjoyed myself throughout the whole thing, right up until test day were I passed first time with this company, it's not a walk in the park and they do put you through your paces but you learn alot, their experience and knowledge is second to none, just open your ears, listen and soak in everything they want to pass on to you. This is just the start of my journey in this industry and Driver Link has a lot more to offer, you haven't seen the back of me just yet.

Fantastic experience: Passed my class 2 test this afternoon at switch island Dave was my instructor for the bulk of my lessons and i cannot speak highly enough of the guy what can I say very professional with his approach and application of my training very calm on the road with simple clear instructions on how to get the job done. Fantastic experience: I was with this driving school for a 6 day course and I can not fault the effort each instructor puts in With there trainees from when you turn up till you go home each one of them give you there time to talk to you and ask on how your feeling and how your doing etc my instructor was Colin very easy going lovely guy has bags of experience learns you everything you need to know and makes you feel at ease from day 1 I would highly recommend town and country to anyone wishing to take up this experience

Fantastic experience: Wow what an experience, something I’ve wanted to do since I was a young lad, passed my class 1 HGV license today and I’m absolutely over the moon with all the instructors. Steve, Clive, Dave & Colin all some of the best instructors I’ve ever met, so calm and collected and probably couldn’t get anyone else better to get me through my class 1. Fantastic experience: I passed my Class 1 HGV test with three minor faults after four days training. Clive was my instructor and made my learning experience a pleasure, the pace was steady with constructive criticism where it was deserved. All training staff at Town & Country are first class, polite and respectful. I was very lucky to have been trained by Clive, his knowledge of the industry is first class, his training methods are very effective and he’s passionate about his learners passing; he is an excellent instructor, a genuine guy and a true master at his craft. Fantastic experience: Passed my Class 2 HGV test this morning and couldn't speak highly enough of the team at Town and Country. From the beginning of the process of applying for my provisional licence and getting the info from Steve to the week of training and lessons from Clive was second to none. Big thanks to Dave too for the lesson before my test which filled me with confidence going into it. All the team know their stuff and give you everything you need to get you passed within a week. I’ll be back for my class 1 training shortly and won’t hesitate to use Town and Country again. Would 10/10 recommend. Cheers guys!

Fantastic experience: Colin, Clive, Dave and Steve. Wow, what a service. All top blokes with years of experience to back them and their methods of training. Theres a reason their pass rate is so good... All make you feel comfortable and at ease and will show you everything you need to pass. Passed my Class 2 first time, no hiccups and had a great time covering distance with the lads. 100/10 nice one boys :)

Fantastic experience: Just thought I'd leave a review of town and country after passing my Class 2 this morning. Great group of blokes who all know there stuff and helped get me through. The standard of instruction and advice is second to none, I'm now a better driver generally than I was before I stepped through their doors. So thanks to Steve, Clive and Colin but special mention to Dave, very rearly do you find someone so experienced and knowledgeable with the ability to deliver such quality training. I'll definitely return for Class 1 in due course, that's if they can squeeze me in. Cheers Shaun !

Fantastic experience: I passed Christmas Eve with town and country all the trainers are top fellas no messing around they get you to where you need to be and just say how it is helped me every step of the way good price compared to other company’s I had a previous fail due to my own mistakes and Dave and Colin pointed my in right direction and ticked all the boxes for me to pass would recommend these all day lad good lads can’t fault them at all

Fantastic experience: Passed my class 1 at town and country in November last year , good clear instructions from Clive who was a top bloke , it's a very calm environment with an old school approach to there training which kind of takes the stress out of it all . I would recommend town and country to anyone thinking of taking hgv lessons.its also the cheapest place I found if like me your paying for it all yourself

Fantastic experience: Great service from a really good group of instructors. I took my class 2 lessons and test with Town and Country a few weeks back now passing second time, down to my own mistakes. They were very flexible in arranging lessons and tests and made the process easy. I was taught by a number of instructors, each of whom helped my driving in different ways. Overall very good choice.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Company Instructor - Assessment Drive - Clive Instructor - Lessons - Colin Class - 2 (C) Well where to start, excellent fellas on the yard, years of experience and knowledge in the driving and transport industry, alot of knowledge of different methods of teaching which suited my learning. all round excellent company, costs are low but teaching is excellent. Cant fault them at all, going back to do my C+E class 1 when i have experience on Class 2 and the funds for it.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to get you qualified! I had Clive as my instructor and he was top, top quality, I could actually hear him in my head as I was out on my test, that's how good and clear his instructions were. I passed my class 1 first time with only four minors, all down to the lessons provided here. The instructions for the reversing manoeuvre make it so clear on what you have to do, it makes it so much easier. Good price, excellent trainers, follow their instructions and you will pass. Fantastic experience: My test ended up getting cancelled due to someone from the test centre getting covid Ste sorted me a test out as soon as he could which was great, I had lew teaching me and he was excellent so patient and a great laugh, I highly recommend going to this training school great bunch of lads

Negative experience: Bad experience. Charged me for 5 day course after admitting I was ready to do my test after just 3 days. But because they had me 'booked in' for the 5 days charged me £200 a day for days I didn't need. Refused to let me use their truck if I didn't complete the final 2 days.

Fantastic experience: I did my class 2 with these guys, Great bunch of lads. I was really nervous driving a class 2 at first but they soon made me feel at home, nice friendly informal atmosphere. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking to drive lorries for a living. Extremely knowledgeable trainers and will bend over backwards to work around you, I can't wait to go back for my class 1. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Done a weeks course and would like to recommend this place to anyone wanting to take there class 2 or class 1 here, Clive and Steve are very knowledgeable and will do all they can to help you pass your test not only that the wagons are very good standard and well looked after, will be going to do my class 1 here in the future would definitely recommend !!!

All the instructors make you feel welcome and at ease and me passing first time shows the level of commitment they have. The option to pay for lessons on a pay as you go basis really helped as I could avoild to finance route completely. Now I have my class 2 licence and no payments with interest. Negative experience: If i could leave no stars I would. This company isnt really interested in helping you pass they just want to see how much money your willing spend on repeat tests etc. So if you want to loose money and get nowhere then this is the company to use

Fantastic experience: Writing for the husband. First he wants to thank the instructors for getting him through his c plus e extremely professional and friendly. There level of training is extremely high. Extremely cost effective and personally I would 8f paid more for the whole experience and level of training. Highly recommend to everyone

Fantastic experience: Just done my Class 1 licence with Colin from Town and country. Having had a bad experience with Stockport LGV earlier in the year I was quite anxious going into this again. From minute one Colin put my mind at ease. He is very experienced and a calm influence he has not only got me through my test but made me a better driver by far. The difference with Town & Country is they atcually care on a personal level if you pass or fail. They give you all the knowledge you need and nothing is to much trouble. Over the course of getting all my licences I have been with 5 training providers. Town and Country are hands down the most professional I've been with. Fantastic company and more importantly people. Lue was my instructor and was fantastic, helping me to get rid of my bad habits and ready for my test with Colin giving me my last lesson before my test. I had paid for this course myself and it was money spent wisely with 20 hrs of 1 to 1 training over 5 days. Just saving now to go for my class 1 and it's all thanks to these guys.
