Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I had a great experience of driving lessons with both Amdi and Kay. I had one refresher lesson with Amdi, and after passing my theory test I then had two lessons with Kay. Kay took me to my driving test--he was generous enough to take a morning off to accompany me--and I'm happy to write that with their expert instruction I passed on my first try! I highly recommend these driving instructors. All around a productive experience and worth the time and money. Also a pleasure to spend time with. Many thanks!

Fantastic experience: I’d highly recommend learning to drive with AMDI. What you get from learning to drive with him, is not how to drive to pass the test, or how to drive to a good standard, you get an education in being a safe and confident driver. I feel confident that I learnt skills and the understanding of driving to become a good safe driver. What I always felt in lessons was that AMDI was striving for quality and a respect for the skill of driving – as a teacher myself I recognised that AMDI was teaching me to be the best version of myself as a driver. He also went the extra mile and took me out for an extra hour practise on the morning of my test, which helped me pass first time! Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test many years ago but I have not driven since and I needed classes to get back into practice, adjust to the London traffic and more. I choose the option to drive an automatic (I like that the school offers both automatic and manual!) and the experience is fantastic. Amdi is the best teacher, endlessly patient, very human and friendly in his approach and lessons with him are both instructive but also just really fun (despite London traffic!). They also have very good prices and are flexible with time of the lessons, trying to always find something that works for both parties. Very grateful and would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Amdi was a very good instructor, I passed my test first time having never driven before starting lessons with him. He is a very good instructor and takes you up to practice where you are going to take the test, this helps so much.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test having had a great experience of learning to drive with Kay. I actually enjoyed the lessons and could see myself progressing after each session. I was not a natural or confident driver to begin with but Kay has been a very patient instructor, always finding new tips and tricks to help me drive well. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed first time (automatic), having had lessons with Kay at Amdi Driving School and I couldn’t recommend him enough. As a mature learner, I had been very nervous about driving and I had previously had a bad experience with a different company, doing manual lessons. I had almost given up, but it wasn’t till I switched to having lessons with Kay that everything changed. His positive, encouraging and conscientious attitude made me feel comfortable and safe, and I gradually gained confidence and good habits for safe driving. He was extremely patient and would go over certain things again and again until it stuck (Wanstead Roundabouts!) He notices everything and definitely doesn’t let you get away with sloppy driving habits, but he delivers the good news and bad news about you progress in a constructive way, so you always leave a lesson feeling positive. I can’t thank Kay enough for transforming my whole learning experience from something terrifying into something enjoyable and confidence building, and a first time pass in Wanstead, a notoriously hard test centre, is testament to his teaching. Fantastic experience: Passed my test the first time! Hamdi is a great teacher. I feel that he was invested in me succeeding to pass, changing our usual schedule to make sure I could practice when the roads were less busy. He knows what he is doing, knows the test routes well so he takes you to the most challenging bits so you feel like you know them super well on the day of your test. He will point out mistakes, without missing any, so on the day of your test you don't do these mistakes! By encouraging you to be perfect in the lessons, he makes sure that your test day feel easy (apart from the nerves, but that's something I could only control hehe). Despite being nervous I could fall back on all the pointers Hamdi had helped me memorise to show that I knew what I was doing whilst driving during the test.

Fantastic experience: Having failed my test 3 years ago and not driven since, I did 34hrs over 2.5 weeks and passed!! Amdi took me around all the test routes in Chingford and really built my confidence. He was great at constantly reminding of small things to do like MSM and leaning forwards and gave me a good understanding of how the clutch really works. So thankful to him and definitely recommend!

I'd never driven a car before so was starting from zero, but Amdi quickly got me up to speed. He was happy to work to my schedule and made room for extra lessons in the run-up to my test. I'm in N16 and Amdi would pick me up near my home. We would drive out for our lessons where I eventually took my test (Chingford). Would recommend for people looking for an instructor in East London!

Fantastic experience: Amdi was a fantastic driving instructor and great company. I started my lessons before covid and passed after the restrictions eased. Due to this a long time passed however he never forgot my progress and was very accommodating to fit in lessons around my schedule. Always arrives with a smile and has a calm relaxed nature which puts you at ease. Made me feel confident behind the wheel at all times too and we had a good laugh along the way. I failed my first test but he had me booked in for a second in a matter of days where I passed with only 3 minors. Highly highly recommend Amdi.

Fantastic experience: Not only is Amdi a scrupulous instructor that had me pass my first test with only 5 hours of lessons, he is, more importantly, a lot of fun! Fantastic experience: Amdi is an excellent teacher. I was a particularly nervous learner with very little confidence in my ability but Amdi taught me to drive confidently and safely. Amdi's teaching style struck the perfect balance between letting me progress at my own pace whilst also encouraging me at the times when I didn't feel I was ready. For example, when we first discussed parallel parking I thought it would be far too difficult for me to learn however within one lesson, Amdi had taught me a very straightforward way of approaching it. With Amdi's help, I managed to pass my driving test the first time - something I would never have expected to happen when I first began learning to drive! Thank you Amdi!

Fantastic experience: I contacted Amdi after a long break from learning to drive. He immediately made me feel at ease and got me up to speed quickly providing valuable feedback and encouragement. Fantastic experience: I was reluctant to pick up driving lessons again after a pretty horrific first attempt. I cannot express how happy I am to have ended up with Amdi. I am expecting my first baby in December and wanted to do a crash course, but he advised me against that approach for various reasons. Instead he found the time to work around my busy schedule in order to make our classes possible in the time frame I needed. The quality and standard of his teaching was on another level and you can really tell he actually WANTS his students to pass, rather than prolonging lessons to his benefit. I’d recommend Amdi to anyone of any ability.

Fantastic experience: Hello My name is Glenn and I’m writing this to describe my experience with Amdi’s driving school. My aim was to pass my practical test. Taking lessons with Amdi has been a pleasure, Amdi was my instructor while learning. When I was doing my lessons with him, he didn’t get me mad or put me under pressure when I was making mistakes. This allowed me to learn quick as well as well be relaxed. When you do lessons with Amdi, it is best to learn in a short period of time because this gives you a chance to concentrate on your lesson in a quick period which is good. It helps you to be consistent with the lessons that you book. That is what I done and I can happily say that I passed my test while practising and listening to Amdi so if you’re willing to learn how to drive and get your pink licence. His patience when explaining procedures and road logic is really helpful when learning. Would highly recommend.

Im very difficult learner never listen after second hour I get bored But amdi has patient Always give on my hears to listen to him Overall I cant recommend enough Soon my daughter is ready I will put on his hands her driving lessons ...... Fantastic experience: AMAZING INSTRUCTOR I had previously had 4 hours of lessons with a big chain company which was not personal at all, I contacted Amdi and he designed a perfect package for me with out trying to add extras on. I explained I needed my license quick for work related reasons. And that’s exactly what we did. he was great and really explained everything fully and is nice to travel with good conversation and lots of laughs. In my package he designed we drove for 7 days alternating 3 hours one day and 4 hours the next! Then WHAAAAM! Staight In to my test ( which I asked Amdi to sit in the back with me ) and wooooo I passed! I now have a driving license so happy and so so pleased with the everything from start to finish. Very proffesional but also very personal. 5 stars from me Thank you Amdi Ian the new driver

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with Amdi after only 12 hours of practice. He has the interest of his trainees as the core of his work and I believe this enabled me to pass at the first time. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Mr Amdi enough, I booked a series of refresher lessons having lost my license over 10 years ago, and Mr Amdi made the experience so enjoyable. He is punctual, knowledgeable and patient. We even had a great laugh driving around once my confidence had improved, he even came out to cheer me when I passed his house in the Hackney Half, beat that for encouragement. Not to mention that I passed first time (again). Cheers Mr Amdi!
