Fantastic experience: Excellent instructor and reasonable prices. I passed my test first time with Rob, and enjoyed having a laugh with him during the lessons. Rob was extremely knowledgable about the testing process and prepared me well for the test. Furthermore, the vehicle used was very good and Rob was never late for lessons.

Negative experience: Very bad service. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to learn under Rob because he had a pledge that he wouldn't teach you to just pass your test, but he would teach you to be a safe driver. Having passed my test on a first attempt, I can firmly say Rob's voice is still in my head each time I'm out on the road. He knew I was a nervous driver, but challenged me every lesson to conquer something new, and adequately prepare me for not only the test, but challenges I'd experience on the road. Rob was there to support both strengths and weaknesses, and was always ready for a life chat each and every lesson. Now, knowing when to give way is no longer an issue thanks to his "If in doubt, chicken out", and both the reverse bay park and parallel park is as smooth as butter! Thanks Rob!

Fantastic experience: Rob was a great driving instructor and helped me turn from a nervous and timid driver to a confident driver. His methods of teaching worked really well for me and the jogging and walking pace analogy helped me when I was struggling to turn round tight corners and it helped me pass on my second try. Fantastic experience: Rob taught me over the span of a couple of years. I actually had to stop for a long time after a couple of months of lessons due to having an unexpected seizure. When I was cleared from the hospital and by the DVLA Rob was straight there ready to offer me lessons again which I can’t thank him enough for. Fantastic experience: Rob is an incredibly driving instructor, he teaches everything in an educated, simple way and will go over things again and again until you understand it. He handles everything calmly and he has a great sense of humour that makes the driving lessons fun. Rob did not give up on me, even when I wanted to. The driving anxiety was really, really bad for me, but part of the reason I stuck with it was because of Rob’s support and encouragement! I’m forever grateful for that, now I’ve passed my test and have a car. It’s great! Some of his great, famous quotes: “When in doubt, chicken out.” “Do the tiger roar!”

My learning was heavily interrupted by covid amongst other things and throughout it all Rob was patient and communicative. He understood how to best tackle rustiness caused by long breaks from the wheel. I am certainly not a natural driver - but I passed first time with only two minors as a result of his expert tuition.

Fantastic experience: Rob is a brilliant instructor with lots of knowledge and plenty of patience! He wants to make all his students safe drivers, not just make them pass the test. He explains things well, questions you and shows you examples of road types and scenarios on an iPad to help your understanding which was really helpful to have something visual. I previously had a different instructor but I was recommended Rob by a friend and I wish I went with him from the beginning! Passed first time with Rob in Hyde, couldn't recommend him enough :)
