Fantastic experience: Steve is easy to get along with which is a must when learning to drive. He uses a witty sense of humour to calm your nerves while also getting his pupils to reason on why they’re doing certain procedures to drive to maintain good progress throughout his lessons. He is always in control and you know you’re in safe hands with his alert attitude. He is also very fair with prices, issues and lateness. If you treat him well he’ll treat you in kind.

Fantastic experience: Steve not only taught me but my brother and sister which lead us to all passing our tests. Steve was the type of teacher I needed who kept me calm and focused while making driving enjoyable. He is a very good and reliable teacher. He taught giving clear instructions of what I needed to covering everything I needed for my test. He is also nice person to chat with throughout lessons and always encouraged me to do my best especially on the day of my test. I appreciate all he has taught and although I'm pleased I can drive I'm going to miss our lessons. If you have the opportunity definitely choose steve's school of motoring over any other instructer if you are learning in Cardiff.

Fantastic experience: I'll never be able to put into words how happy I will always be for finding Steve as an instructor. I had my licence revoked for speeding and I had to reapply as a new driver, after receiving my new provisional and resitting my theory test and passing, I booked a last minute driving test which left me 5 days!! ..to refresh and pass my test.. Then I found Steve,... I learnt things from Steve that I never learnt from my previous instructor, I even sat through a speed awareness course where (jokes aside) I did pick up a few things, but not what I learnt through Steve. Facts. I feel and I know Steve has made me sooo much more of a better driver. I feel more aware. I feel more confident. I know more about cars now, from basic routine maintenance ..to things like looking after your clutch ❤️‍ while driving e.t.c I'll make sure I remember his lessons for the rest of my life.. I honestly felt so comfortable around Steve, he pushes you to do your best, he takes his job seriously and he really made me feel that he wanted what was best for me and himself. 30 years of experience, that's 360 months of training, use your head guys.. ............................................................... Be prepared to spend alot of time laughing ..he has a very warm heart and is also very, very funny and friendly. He has alot of patience and he's very straight forward and generous. If i needed to brush up on something he'd make sure I understood clearly before we moved on, I will never be able to put into words the true angel that this man is. I could sit here all night, absolute legend!! ❤️ Before I even started my test I knew I was ready.. I AM a better driver now You'll be extremely lucky to find anyone like Steve I wouldn't never want anyone else. If Steve's still about when my daughter's need help then it's money well spent. He likes a cappuccino from Greggs, No Sugar!! I mean that from this bottom of my heart.. ..we passed in 4 days!! Thank You sooo much Stephen You mean the world to me ✌️

Fantastic experience: Very good instructor, took me on short notice with 3 weeks until my test, spotted my bad habits and corrected them and got me test ready within a few lessons. The instructor I had before him was telling me to buy 20 lessons and push my test back as he thought I wouldn’t be ready to pass so clearly was trying to get money out of me but with Steve I had 6 lessons and passed. Great guy with a good sense of humour, the right choice if you want to pass your test.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say you will not get a better driving instructor than Steve. If anyone that reads this review has the option to learn from Steve then you should talk it without a doubt of hesitation. Steve calmly explained every situation in a well structured way. If you ever made a mistake he will make sure you understand where you went wrong and how to avoid said mistake in the future. Steve's also quite the entertaining instructor which you will come to understand when you meet him.
