Fantastic experience: Previously, I have had two driving instructors, one which crushed my confidence and made me a nervous driver. Since having lessons with Sarbjit, I have more confidence and knowledge in driving. He has helped me to become an independent driver and I have passed today 1st time with 4 minors. Fantastic experience: A big thanks to my instructor Sarbjit, he was very patient and encouraging with me, even when I made the same mistake multiple times. Thankfully I listened to his advice and learned from my mistakes, leading me to pass on Thursday! He will not only teach you to pass your driving test, but to be a good and safe driver. Fantastic experience: That Neelam is a good instructor is not even up for debate, and not my main focus. She very kindly made time at the most inconvenient periods, and was all too understanding of my schedule. As unsure as I may have been during the test, I just kept hearing her voice in my head, like the numerous times she'd gently given instructions at practice, telling me the right steps to take. Thumbs up, Neelam!

Fantastic experience: I want to give a huge shoutout to Neelam. She helped me pass today! All the lessons we did helped me prepare and feel confident for the test. The lessons cover all possible routes, things to look out for, and Neelam does it in a relaxing, calm way.

I started lessons with him after several issues with a previous instructor, and he could not have been more understanding and patient with me. Immediately I felt at ease in the car with Lee, and I always felt he wanted nothing but the best for me in my driving. Fantastic experience: John taught my son Kieran to drive and I have to say he was absolutely fabulous. He had to deal with Covid and all the issues that it brought but he was professional and kept us informed at all times. Kieran passed today which was fantastic and a credit to John’s teaching. John will be teaching our daughter in March next year we were so Impressed with him.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently learning to drive with Sarah from RIO. She is so incredibly patient with me, and is not only teaching me to drive, but teaching me to drive confidently. They are also taking all the necessary precautions due to covid, including masks and sanitising, making me feel safe every lesson.

Fantastic experience: I have had a fair few lessons with instructor John now and have made noticeable progress in less than 10 lessons, where I had 26 previously. John is a great instructor for anxious drivers and makes everything crystal clear. Having a good laugh while learning, really puts you at ease and boosts your confidence behind the wheel.

Gary is a very calm and collected instructor who will make you feel at ease during your lesson and will help you feel less nervous if you're having any issues. Gary is truly an asset to Rio Driving School and a great choice of instructor for anyone no matter what level you are learning at. :)

Fantastic experience: My first lesson with Roy was fantastic. Roy made me feel comfortable whilst teaching me plenty of important pointers. As I have had instructors in the past, Roy demonstrated an efficiency with assessing my driving abilities and identifying the areas I needed to improve on. I would highly recommend this instructor.

Fantastic experience: I took a refresher driving lesson with Sarbit on parallel parking as when I took my test this was not covered in my lessons or test, I found Sarbjit to be very professional, patient and understanding, before my refresher lesson I used avoid parallel parking and would have rated myself as a 2 out of 10 but I am pleased to say I would rate myself as a 8 or 9 easy and actually enjoy parallel parking. Sarbjit showed me how easy it was and I became confident quite quickly. Thank you Sarbit ☺

I have always been so nervous about driving and I am the worst passenger because I get so panicky which is why I've put off driving for so long. After just one lesson as recommended from a friend, I cannot even describe how much more at ease I feel. And that's down to Paul - he's so easy to talk to and just genuinely understands. He asked me what I wanted to get out of the lesson and we did exactly that. No pressure, no stress, he just knows exactly how to talk you through each process. I'm actually looking forward to more lessons and I never ever thought I would feel this way! Honestly if you're looking for an ideal instructor who is a people person, will go at your pace and make you comfortable at driving, then go with Paul at Rio. Fab fab fab.

I previously had driving experience in another country but struggled to adjust to the UK’s driving environment and I couldn’t have done it without Peter’s help. He did taught me with the greatest patience ever, always reassuring me when I made mistakes and also making sure I was ok.
