Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time today after my first lesson only six months ago. Mobeen was my instructor and I can’t recommend him enough, I was so nervous and had given up trying to learn with different instructors over the years. He encouraged me to be more confident and didn’t let me give up this time. Thank you GTD driving school.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Mobeen at GTD driving school enough, with a total of 27 hours of lessons I passed my test first time with only one minor fault! I expressed to Mobeen that I was very anxious to start driving so I only booked in for one lesson as a “taster” to see if I would be able to go through with it or not. However, it was also very important to me that I got along with my instructor, that I felt at ease straight away, and could also have some banter with. Mobeen ticked all of those boxes and I chose to carry on learning - it was the best decision I made. Throughout my learning experience Mobeen ALWAYS believed in me especially when I thought I couldn’t do things, Mobeen knew I could, he pushed me to always make myself better. Mobeen was extremely patient, he was always thorough with his explanations, if I couldn’t make sense of what he was saying he would find another way for me to understand. Mobeen always went above and beyond with all of his teaching, for that I am extremely grateful because without him I wouldn’t have passed! I cannot fault Mobeen in the slightest, if you’re looking for an instructor who is always calm, patient and thorough with their teaching but can have banter with Mobeen is the one for you! Thank you again Mobeen! Wouldn’t have done it without your expertise!

Fantastic experience: Saj was brilliant, I took a 30 hour intensive course after not haven driven for 4 years. He was really calm and understanding which eased any nerves after struggling with confidence, I found the company based on the amount of good reviews there was and it definitely lived up to its standards. I passed first time thanks to Saj and his constant help and reassurance

The app used for booking lessons is very useful too and provides an area to take down notes in relation to how your lesson went and how you can improve for next time which is also very useful. Fantastic experience: GTD Driving school is a great Driving school. I have previously been with 3 different driving school companies and 4 different instructors however none of them helped me as much as GTD and Mo (who works for GTD) did. Thanks to GTD and thanks to Mo I have finally managed to pass my driving test yesterday with only 4 minors.

Negative experience: Reverse parking over an occupied (vehicle on drive) DROPPED KERB is not right, have a word with your instructors, this is a very regular occurrence, and before anyone gets carried away, we all learned to drive at some point, but I was NEVER taught to park over a driveway, let alone a dropped kerb WITH a vehicle on it, wether they are there briefly or not, it is not acceptable

Fantastic experience: I had the best driving instructor ever Nazrah, very patient, really good at explaining and building up confidence. Over the years I had tried different instructor’s/driving school I wasn’t very comfortable with. Back in 2014 i done 9 driving tests and failed so i gave up, thought i’d give it another one last try in August last year, with Nazrah’s guidance i was able to pass first time with her. I was pushing for more lessons, but she said i didn’t need them, this gave me confidence in her and the ability she had. Thank you once again Nazrah!!! xxx

Fantastic experience: Amjad guided me through my driving lessons, and because to his kindness, patience, and professionalism, I passed on the first try. While I was already familiar with the routes and skills, he guided me through all of the test routes and discussed any tough spots and how to manoeuvre around them. Fantastic experience: Got referred by my friend, and i would say it was the best decision ever to choose GTD driving school. My instructor was really amazing, communicated so well while teaching me and worked hard a lot with me to get my weak points corrected. Gave me quick tips and mnemonics to actually memorise how a manoeuver and driving around a junction or on straight road is performed safely and correctly. I am also thankful to my instructor for sending me online video links to get extra preparation done for things to be perform on my test day. Do's and Dont's guidelines helped me a lot to stay focus on my test route. Had a wonderful experience in such a short span of time.

Negative experience: I’ve been with an instructor called Maj for a while now and I’ve learnt fine with him. He decided to leave this company which is all fine and well to make his own company (Yes2 DS) but I’ve found that GTD school have been trying to contact me and have tried to badmouth him by sending me negative remarks and negative reviews. I can’t say the same for all the instructors but if the company is trying to put me off at all, it’s not a very good service and clearly shows that they are just after the money. I’ll be sticking with Maj!

Positive experience: So, I’m going to provide an honest review of how we found GTD after my 17 year old daughter had roughly 8-10:hours with GTD. I start by saying that her instructor “Maj” has now left/been sacked after he refused to offer students one hour slots, he would only offer two hour slots meaning we would have to cough up nearly £70 a go! Well, that was the reason I was provided with when I contacted them to complain. After he left the company he, Maj, even contacted my daughter by phone call to ask her to continue to learn with him, she refused and he became really pushy. Not good! During the lessons she would only get 30/40 minutes out of the 120 booked actual driving. He’d park up to talk about the car or how college is going. She’d be driven 15 minutes from home before she was allowed to drive which again just wasted more time.Such a shame as I trusted them based on the excellent reviews, hence why I thought this one may be a fair reflection on our experience. The prices have also been increased. **update** I have now had a detailed conversation with Saj, the owner. He was incredibly helpful and apologetic for our poor experience. A small percentage of our lessons costs have been recovered. The reviews would suggest that we were just unlucky and as stated they have now moved on from our instructor. We’re still moving to a new driving school but Saj has gone some way to repairing the damage.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor (Nazrah) was so sweet to me and made me feel super comfortable behind the wheel. I’m very appreciative of all the support she has shown me through my experience with her and should always believe in me when I didn’t. Thanks to her I have passed my driving test today on my first try!

Fantastic experience: Az my driving instructor from GTD was thoroughly professional & also a really nice guy which immediately helped me feel at ease behind the wheel. He tailored the lessons to my progress & didn't waste time where it was clear I was capable but was always happy to answer questions or review any areas where I was having issues to help build my confidence. Passed with just 3 minors & I would not hesitate to recommend Az to other learners. Cheers mate!
