Fantastic experience: The price of the lessons was fair compared to most of the other driving schools. I want to personally thank Magdalena for her patience and professionalism on my driving lessons. Magda was always punctual and I felt that every two hour lesson we had, I had learnt a lot! I never felt stupid when I made a mistake, she would always calmly explain how to do things right. Fantastic experience: I don't think I can encapsulate my experience fully in words. Umar is the best driving instructor I've ever had, no debate required!!! He's very patient, calm and understanding. I started from scratch, super nervous and anxious and making sooo many mistakes. But with each lesson, I grew into a confident driver and have now passed my test the first time! The positive reinforcement and constructive feedback will forever be appreciated. Just like with skiing, Umar helped me to see the path between the trees and I won't forget this! Fantastic experience: Having taken lessons many years ago, I started learning with Umar at the Oxford Driving School as a beginner again, and in under 30 hours of his instruction, passed my driving test. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching, and his years of experience shows through his clear and detailed teaching skills. Negative experience: Such a bad experience happened with me by the team as well as instructor. Due to error happened by the instructor I couldn't attend for my test . I was attending classes with instructor and clearly informed regarding test date and time few times. But test day he didn't come for test and I missed my slot. He was not attending messages and calls that day. it’s very difficult to get a date for test and waited for long time for the test. Even informed the driving academy, they said they will call and have a talk with instructor but till the date no response from academy . Lost my money, time and effort.

Fantastic experience: I had approximately 28 hours of lessons with Mr Khalid Ali and I passed my driving test today with 1 minor fault. The quality of teaching was amazing. Always friendly and encouraging, which helps to calm learner nerves. He delivered the perfect balance of explaining the theory behind driving and the practical driving itself. I was never bored! A big, big thank you to Khalid! The best teacher you could ask for.

Fantastic experience: Ali was an absolutely wonderful teacher and brought me from driving nervously to passing first time. Explains things very clearly, extremely patient, allows you to make and learn from mistakes without criticising too harshly. All around a great guy to learn from -- highly recommended!

Negative experience: I had the worst experience with this company for my very first lesson in an automatic car. Mr Zia (the owner of ODS) was my instructor, came across as aggressive and when giving instructions he would even bang on the dashboard. His behaviour towards me made me feel vulnerable and anxious and I will not be using this driving school again. L Castle

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Magdalena. I passed my driving test 1st try, last Friday. I’d started with 0 experience and very little driving knowledge! We have been doing lessons over the past 7 months and she was very patient, reassuring and dedicated to shaping me into a safe driver, from the beginning all the way up to the end. Fantastic experience: Come back to Oxford for easter and need a driving instructor at the time. Eventually I landed on Magdalena and spend 10 hours driving with her. She is a great teacher, pointed out my flaws clearly, was very kind and patient, also teach me effectively, greatly improved my driving skills. I had to go to Newcastle after the holiday so I didn’t pass with her, but she is definitely the reason that I became confident in my driving. Also the person who give me an idea what a good teacher was. (Old instructor in Newcastle sucks!)

Fantastic experience: I feel very blessed to meet Mr Ali as my DI. Every lesson i took with Mr Ali I realised what i was missing from my previous instructor. No here and there, right to the point. He just didn’t teach me to pass my exam instead he showed me to be the safest driver on any given road. Despite of having a very short notice to my test date, Magdalena was very kind enough to accommodate me. I was bit anxious about my driving test, but my instructor Magdalena made it easy and top of all, her professional guidance & tips helped me to pass the test on first attempt.

Fantastic experience: ODS accepted me to the lessons with Mr Umar Zia 4 weeks before my test date. Lots of other instructors don’t want students with test dates, which is a bit weird. Umar was quite patient, he pointed out my mistake and allowed me to correct it within the same lesson to help me re-enforce the skill. Finally it was a pass so I am happy with all the service and good luck to all other Learners!

When it came time to test Magda helped me pass in 8 days! She was patient, explained everything clearly, and had a good sense of humor which made it a comfortable learning experience. Fantastic experience: ODS, and specifically my instructor Umar Zia, were fantastic. I started learning to drive a few years ago but had my test cancelled as things kicked off in 2020. I hadn't driven since, but decided in early January to give it another go. The only way to book a test, from what I could see, involved jumping into a slot vacated by a cancellation. Because of this I wanted an intensive course that would leave me ready should an opportunity arise. Without explicitly booking such a course with ODS, Umar graciously reorganised his schedule to accommodate mine, such that I had my first lesson with him on the 15th and had passed (first time) on the 25th. That included a 7am(!) lesson on a Sunday morning. Needless to say I am very grateful, and would happily recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor, Aasim, was absolutely fantastic. He's very calm, clear and I really enjoyed our lessons. He helped me pass first time. I could not recommend highly enough.

Negative experience: My daughter had an introductory lesson with the instructor, then they charge a higher fee than is advertised online! We booked online and the instructor decided to cancel the appointment without telling us as he wanted to charge a higher fee. We have left three messages for the owner of the company to get in contact and he has not bothered three days later. Not trustworthy and will not be using this driving school. Beware of the fees online are only introductory and then a higher fee is charged!

Fantastic experience: Excellent classes by my instructor Aasim Asghar. Passed my test today :-). Aasim focused more on the logics behind the traffic rules which made driving natural and fun. He was patient, for example, would take me to the same roundabout again and again until I understood the lanes and rules properly. I absolutely loved the way he instructed me. Would highly recommend people to take classes from the driving school.

You leave every lesson feeling confident and happy as he inspires and guides you through every obstacle you face during driving. Fantastic experience: Everything about Oxford Driving School was amazing - the woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and super helpful, and my driving instructor, Umar, was amazing! He gave incredible advice and very clear feedback, and helped me feel very relaxed and at ease. Umar helped me prepare really for everything that showed up on the test, so I was able to go into it very confidently (and ended up with only one minor fault). He's also super encouraging and really fun to talk to! Additionally, Umar was very generous with his schedule: when a last-second practival driving test opened up for the next day, he rearranged his schedule on less than 24 hours notice so I could have 3 hours of lessons and he could take me to the test. Everything about Umar and the Oxford Driving School really went above and beyond in kindness, teaching, and enjoyment of the whole process. Could not imagine having had a better experience!

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Oxford Driving School especially my driving instructor Umar without any doubt at all! My previous instructor left the country during lockdown and left me with no choice but to find someone else as my driving test was due in a few weeks. In hindsight, I am thankful he left because then I found ODS! From the first time I enquired to scheduling my lessons, everything was smooth sailing and Umar was very kind to accommodate me and even dropped me off and picked me up at my workplace to save time! Umar was the most amazing, punctual, patient, funniest and reassuring guy ever! He was always calm and truly a very experienced teacher. He was very thorough, taught me acronyms and phrases for me to remember observations and manoeuvres easily and always asked me if I had any questions or clarifications.
