Fantastic experience: I decided to change my driving instructor after my previous one continuously knocked my confidence by shouting at me over every little mistake I made. As a result, I switched to Go2 Driving School after watching Matt's driving lesson videos on their YouTube channel. Based on the professionalism and expertise Matt displayed in these videos, I decided that Go2 Driving School was the right choice for me. After talking with Rich on the phone and discussing my progress with my previous instructor, he paired me with Mukhtar. I have to say that every lesson with Mukhtar was enjoyable, valuable, and beneficial in helping me work towards my goal of passing my test. Every lesson I had with Mukhtar made me feel at ease and completely relaxed while driving. When I did make mistakes, he explained what I did wrong, how to prevent the mistakes from happening again, and ensured I understood everything. I highly recommend Go2 Driving School and Mukhtar because, without them, I probably would not have passed on my first attempt with only one fault!

Fantastic experience: With the help from my driving instructor, Richard, I passed my driving test first time with only 4 minors. I had a test booked with a previous driving instructor. I felt I was not ready for my test. I switched to Go2 driving school. Within 1 month, I was feeling more confident about my driving skills. Fantastic experience: As someone who was very nervous to start driving, Go2 Driving school was exactly what i needed. My instructor, Rich, made me feel comfortable from the first lesson. He was friendly and made an effort to get to know me which helped me feel at ease and allowed me to concencrate on the driving. Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Go2 enough! Richard was my instructor every Monday morning, he would turn up early, relaxed and friendly. He made learning the do’s and dont’s easy by pulling me up on my mistakes without patronising me or becoming impatient.. I passed after 3 months and only around 18 hours of lessons which I find pretty impressive! On the day of my test we spent an hour before talking ourselves through the examination which took all the stress out of the situation, once again thanks very much mate real good bloke.

Fantastic experience: I think it's the best driving school. Richard is very patient, if you make a mistake he tells you to stop and explains everything step by step. You will learn in your own pace. I just passed my exam. I was very anxious about driving, I still am. But Richard made me think that maybe I can do it and I managed. I had some previous driving experiences with different instructor but I felt like stuck there. Then I started driving with Richard and I finally felt like going forward. Fantastic experience: My Son Samuel was a reluctant learner but needed to learn to drive to facilitate his journey to and from UNI which was a 2 hour commute by public transport. After just a few lessons with Richard, he found that learning to drive was fun and after just 5 months with Richard as his instructor he passed his test first time. Richard was amazing, Samuel said he is very thorough, extremely patient and kind. Based on the experience Samuel had I would have no hesitation in recommending Go2 Driving School, especially Richard as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I have a driving licence from abroad, however, I didn't have much driving experience and I needed to pass my test in the UK to be able to drive here as well. Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend Go2 Driving School, and in particular instructor Rich, highly enough! His style of teaching is absolutely brilliant! He puts you at ease straight away, so it's perfect if you are perhaps a little nervous or apprehensive to be out on the roads. I passed my test first time and that is down to how well Rich thoroughly prepared me for my test. He ensured that I was confident in every aspect. I very briefly had two other driving instructors a few years back when I originally wanted to learn to drive, and quickly gave up on both as I felt nervous and uneasy, and that I wasn't learning in the right manner for me. That was definitely not the case with Rich. I used to really look forward to my weekly lesson! Fantastic experience: Thanks to Matt, I passed with zero faults! I truly recommend Go2driving if you want driving skills that go further than a driving test. With Matt I not only learned to drive safely, confidently and smoothly but gained access to skills that help me in my everyday life and academics. With learning to drive you have to be active with your progress at all points and be willing to self criticise and take a chance at doing the wrong thing; these were things that I definitely had a weakness in before joining the school and I very much appreciate how these traits have spilled over into other areas of my life!

I am in absolute shock as someone who really struggles with their nerves I somehow managed to keep them under control. Fantastic experience: Outstanding driving intructor/school. I have recently passed my driving test with Go2Driving, under the pressure of a pandemic. I cannot recomend them enough, My instructor Rich, was polite, professional, understanding, adaptive in all apsects of teaching. I suffer with anxiety and had previously started learning with a diffrent Derby based instructor. He was vile! (My previous instructor) destroyed my confidence and made me very warey of starting again. Rich was so patient with me, took the time to adapt his teaching methods to what worked for me and my confidence grew and my ability followed. At no point did I feel I could not ask a question for fear of sounding stupid, NEVER SHOUTED!!! Which was s common issue with my previous instructor. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Rich and Go2Driving school. From my very first contact with them via email, to my final lesson and test! You will have a mentor and be taught how to drive not just how to pass a driving test, which seems to be the biggest issue with other companies. Outstounding, a cut above the rest, the creme dela creme of driving Schools.

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Go2 driving school! So pleased. I took my lessons with Rich and can 100% say I would recommend him to all of my family and friends. I quickly built my confidence driving with Rich. His teaching style was great, i didn’t feel rushed or under pressure. I was never made to feel bad over mistakes either which was a fear of mine. The lessons progressed at a really good pace, each lesson there was a brief and debrief so I knew really clearly where I was at and what I was moving onto next. Rich was really reliable throughout and it was easy to book slots around my job. Also I’d like to mention, at some point while I was already a student with them they brought the lesson price down abit, I had already been happily paying the original rate, but he notified me of it straight away and adjusted my rate too which I thought was really decent of them. I really never thought I’d be able to say I passed first time but it’s all thanks to Go2 driving, they really are a great company to learn with and are the best at what they do. Fantastic experience: Theres so many reasons as to why I would wholeheartedly recommend Go2 Driving school. Having learnt with the main man himself- Matt- I can say that the man is exactly like he is in his YouTube videos, if not, way better!! I Initially learnt with AA and was knocked of confidence back when I was 17 and stopped learning from that point on after a nasty comment made by one of their instructors. Driving wasn't that necessary for me at the time with myself going to Uni. Having now graduated, I decided to try my luck with Matt after watching a load of his YouTube videos. Best decision I've made. Not only did he put the confidence back in myself but he provided much more depth to the learning with a summary of each lesson and what to achieve on the next, which was great as their was a clear structure. His style of teaching is extremely high quality and he managed to get me to the point where I passed yesterday, first time, with only 4 minors. If you're not from the Derby area, Id make sure you also check out his YouTube videos as they provided me with even more help out of the lessons which can be used as prep for future lessons or even the test. He has also let me know of future plans for the channel and theres definitely more top quality content to come. Cannot recommend Matt and Go2 enough (Also Matt's Car is incredible to learn in. Gutted I wont be driving that anymore haha). Thanks a lot for everything and getting me through it!

Fantastic experience: I started learning with Go2 Driving after having had a bit of a poor experience with another driving school and honestly could not have had a better experience. I learnt with Rich and honestly could not have asked for a better instructor, he was super patient and really helped be to build my confidence. When I started my lessons I had a goal for when I wanted to pass and - even in the middle of a pandemic(!) - he helped me pass right in time. Go2 are really good eggs and I can’t recommend them enough.

He has been extremely flexible regarding my needs and always fitting me in. Fantastic experience: I found Go2 driving school online via you tube and looking at the videos I could tell this was the driving school for me, the efficient teaching methods, lots of patience and excellent knowledge given led me to pass my test after only 44 hours of driving lessons! My instructor Matt was brilliant and gave me everything I needed, the knowledge and skills passed on to me with lots of attention to detail and patience when I was getting things wrong helped me gain confidence and pass my test. I am now a good and safe driver but my journey with Go2 driving school isn't over, I am taking the pass plus course as I feel need to get better and better and with Go2 I know I will. Fantastic experience: I did Pass Plus with Matt a couple weeks ago, and I couldn’t recommend it enough especially with Go 2 Driving School. I went from not being able to do a 10 min motorway journey to work, to now being able to drive a 2 hour motorway journey to university with ease. It has helped me beyond belief and I am now a much more confident and I personally think a safer driver. The lessons were tailored to your needs, and we even worked on things that had no correlation to the Pass Plus course! Pass Plus entails 6 modules or areas i.e. rural roads and motorways, however Matt quickly grasped areas out-with the course in which I am lacking skill, areas I did not know needed improving and that were never mentioned to me beforehand. Go 2 Driving School really stands out to me as all aspects were thoroughly explained, and I believe grasping the theory beforehand really helped within lessons, something not many instructors do. Go 2 Driving School is a perfect balance of professional and friendly and I have learnt so much in such a short amount of time. Go 2 Driving School really is a school that truly cares about their students and doesn’t just teach to pass the test and Matt is more than passionate about his job which is so refreshing to see. I cannot thank Matt and Go 2 Driving School enough for your help - you truly work wonders! It has been the best decision of my driving career.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Go 2 Driving School after I had two negative experiences with other driving schools. This unfortunately lead me to being a nervous driver as a result. My driving instructor Richard put me at ease from lesson one. He is so patient and adapts his teaching to suit your learning. I always looked forward to my lessons and because Richard was so supportive and encouraging, it encouraged me to work harder to not only pass my test, but to be a safe and competent driver. My confidence has also increased because of him and I now look forward to driving. His passion for teaching is inspiring and I can relate to this with being a newly qualified science teacher. I passed my driving test yesterday and I cannot be happier :-) I can now drive to my new school with a big smile on my face. For anybody who is wanting a very supportive and passionate driving instructor who will go out of his way to help you, I would highly recommend Richard from Go 2 Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I came across Go2 Driving School whilst doing online research and seeking for that progress and information I was not getting from my previous instructor. The fact that their prices are a little higher than other schools, put me off at first, but believe me, you will end up saving in the long term, as their methods are so effective, that you will surely need a lot less time to be test ready Could not recommend my instructor Michael Excell enough, he is knowledgeable, professional and extremely patient. He helped me overcome my fear for speed and prepared me for possible situations I may encounter on my own. Along with the YouTube channel and support group, I would say Go2 has everything you need in a Driving School and should be considered as the best option there is in the area.

Fantastic experience: I watched a video on youtube done by this driving instructor on how to drive a petrol car after learning in a diesel car. I found it very informative and it really helped me be more confident. I was stalling all over the place yesterday, and today, I drove without stalling! Would deffo give his videos a watch if you need a bit of guidance after passing when you get your 1st car! :)

Very friendly and the lessons are set out in a brilliant way to make sure you achieve what is necessary and know your progress. Passed first time. Fantastic experience: Matt is a true professional! His attention to detail is second to none! How he identifys a problem and resolves it with a solution straight away, then finds a way of simplifying it so inexperienced drivers understand, shows how he understands every aspect of his job! What a genuine man to put his videos on YouTube and share his knowledge, free of charge! I’m from Sheffield and not drove for 10 years after failing 3 times, I basically gave up! I watched matts videos on YouTube and practiced in my wife’s car, (who also has a Peugeot 2008) booked my theory, did my Theory on the 14th of jan and my practical on the 15th passing with 2 minors all from matts videos!!! I found his videos so easy to understand and the little hints and tips I put into practice and smashed my test with not one lesson from another instructor!! All from matts videos so thanks Matt I reckon theirs others like me so let’s show our appreciation for this man! Thanks again matt! Keep doing what your doing! You should be very proud! Fantastic experience: Although I don’t live near Derby, Matt’s videos are an exceptional way of showing students learning to drive or that have already passed the test, various areas of driving and basic skills. They show an in detail view of many maneuvers, driving situations and key skills that undoubtedly will make us better drivers in the future. Definitely would recommend the YouTube channel☺️

Fantastic experience: I recently passed driving my test on the second attempt. When I was feeling a bit bummed about the first try I searched 'driving school' into YouTube. I found a few videos but very few of them contained matt's professionalism, knowledge, precision and genuine enthusiasm about teaching people how to drive. The man is unmatched! Matt's ability to break things down and explain things in a clear and creative way was really helpful in the build up to my driving test. Matt sometimes talks about braking with the thickness of a coin. That simple piece of advice improved my braking drastically. I highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I came across Matt on YouTube and found his videos very helpful as it got closer to my driving tests. I recently passed and decided to do a Pass Plus course with Matt. I found him to be very helpful and in-depth which really improved my driving as I learned skills that I didn’t learn whilst doing lessons with a different instructor. Fantastic experience: As a Journalism student, I had a project at University discussing speed cameras in Derbyshire. I saw Matt was highly regarded in the area as an instructor so asked for him to speak to me on camera to get a different opinion from a professional. Fantastic experience: I am currently having lessons with Matt, he is a very patient and friendly instructor that puts you at ease. Always happy to go over anything i'm unsure of. Matt has a clear way of teaching and will make sure you know what your aims are at the start of each lesson to enable you to work towards these and progress. Compared to lessons with a previous instructor it has been a really positive experience so far, my confidence has improved greatly. I am becoming a safer and overall better driver and I now look forward to my driving lessons.
