Fantastic experience: This my second time around doing my practical test and I passed! I had Rosey as my instructor these last few months and she helped me a lot to gain confidence on the road! She was very patient and calm during all our sessions and very supportive during this whole process.

Fantastic experience: I've passed my driving test first time either 2 minor fault in Hither Green test center. G. Moula was very patient throughout the lessons and very experienced teacher. We wen through every single point to be safe and pass the test! I recommend Dockland driving school and Moula for anyone who wants to pass first time!

Negative experience: I had a really disappointing experience with my driving instructor. She showed up an hour late and didn’t come directly outside my building. I had to walk five minutes to meet her after I refused to travel to her at Barking, which is almost an hour away. When I got to her, she had another student in the car driving, which was really unprofessional. During the lesson, she was vaping and eating food, which was distracting. She didn’t even have the sign on top of the car that says "driving lesson." She had to stop the lesson to use the bathroom and played distracting music the whole time. To top it off, she didn’t even drop me off at my location.

I tried (and even wore out) several instructors before him and I can say that Anam is an exceptional driving instructor, even for ‘’desperate cases‘’ like mine! Anam was extremely patient, encouraging, thorough and helped me to build the confidence I needed to pass the test (on the first attempt this time!) Fantastic experience: I joined Docklands driving school about 3 months ago. My instructor was Golam Moula and exceptionally good instructor who is extremely patient through the lessons even when I kept making repeated mistakes that he had corrected many a time. He is extremely friendly, understanding and flexible with the class schedules. I passed my test in the first attempt with working with Moula and I am extremely thankful to him and the school for this. I strongly recommend Moula for both new and experienced drivers from other countries.

Fantastic experience: Had great experience with Docklands Driving School, my instructor was Anam who was very informative, patient and supportive especially for my final exam. Sent me links to read up on such as questions asked on the test, what we had covered for the day so I could watch videos if I wanted. Passed my test today first time after driving for only 6 months and not always having lessons every week. Highly recommend this driving school as I found it easy to pick up on manoeuvres, didn’t feel pressured when I made a mistake and have clearly got the results I wanted in a short space of time!

Negative experience: I will advice you , don’t book any lessen with this school , I got so much ripped of money doing over 35 lessons and still was saying is not enough and you are not ready , he booked my driving test and he refused to come in last day pretending that I am not ready , I lost my test because of him , and even I reported him..SERIOUSLY I found another instructor only took me 2 hours just to get used with his car and passed my driving test in 10 days with new instructor as my new instructor was saying that you are totally ready for the test. SERIOUSLY AVOID THIS INSTRACTOR I AM TELLING FROM MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIM AND HIS NAME IS MOULA

Negative experience: Driving along a cycle path. Avoid them if you want to learn how to drive legally

Negative experience: An instructor for this school was mounted the pavement and then drove the vehicle down the CS3 cycle lane which is separated from the main carriageway in cable street causing a major hazard to cyclists and then subsequently ignoring a zebra crossing. I would be nervous to recommend people wanting to pass their tests use this school.

Negative experience: Booked the lesson three weeks in advance and the instructor wasn’t even aware of the lesson the day before i called to check in. When I asked what the plan is he simply said ‘I don’t know’. This is not a school for professionals or if you are organised. Avoid.

Negative experience: My daughter had 3 lessons and they increased the price by 20% with no advance warning. The reason given was that they were using a premium car which we had never requested. They did offer an alternative instructor but only provided a first name so I was unable to do any due diligence on the individual they were suggesting which is important to me as the mother of a teenage daughter. The instructor was on time and reliable for the 3 lessons but the quality of the teaching was poor compared to the instructor I have since found who my daughter had learnt more from in a single lesson than she did in 3 lessons with this school. I would suggest getting confirmation that they won’t increase prices without warning and do some research in to the quality of instruction before booking.

Fantastic experience: This is an honest review about my driving instructor and not the school itself. My instructor was Hifjul, I have to say that what I appreciated the most about his lessons was his attention to time. He would always be there on time, exactly and never late, I had over 8 lessons with him accounting for a total of 20 hours. I passed my exam in Belvedere with 2 minors, he pays attention to your driving and corrects any mistake as they happen. He is also honest with you and will tell you when you are ready for your test. I'm grateful for his dedication.

Fantastic experience: This is a review for Anam. First what I noticed when I spoke to Anam was his professionalism, patience and great deal knowledge of roads. He was able to spot issues with learning, attitude, and actions and promptly corrected them as and when these arose. He did not mind curiosity and responsibly answered all questions I asked him. I will have no hesitation in recommending Anam. Note: you might not pass most of his mock tests, but you definitely past your practical test.

Negative experience: Thank goodness I did not attend any classes with this school. I contacted them, and an instructor named G Moula called me up at really inappropriate times (7pm and 9pm in the evening). When I didn’t pick up the call, instead of leaving a simple text message saying who he is and the purpose of the call, he will repeatedly call me. And during the call to arrange time for the class, he would be overly familiar with me and call me “Darling”. I had to be blunt and ask him not to call me “Darling”. I’m an Asian female. After reading the other review by another Asian female about what he asked her, I am so glad I cancelled my class. It’ll save me time and trauma and save him the trouble of having to defend himself from a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Negative experience: I was really happy to find a local company, got in touch with them through instagram chat first, then Yvonne texted me to my mobile which was a never ending circle. I get everyone is busy and can’t call, however before making my first booking with her I wanted to have a 5 minute chat about prices and packages. - unfortunately the instructor can text only, not available for a call at all ( I even offered to be called anytime the following days) From this experience I would assume my instructor being on her phone and getting back to other messages during my lessons? Thank you but no. - will look for another company.

Fantastic experience: Youness was an amazing instructor. Made me pass first time and was extremely dedicated during the lessons. Received a lot of support and advice as well as tips on how to make sure I would pass. I would definitely recommend especially if you have little experience as he goes through the basics very thoroughly.

I have prior driving experience in the States so Rosie tailored our lessons to my needs, taking into considerations the differences of driving in London. (For any other US expats looking to get your UK license, know that you will definitely require some quality time with an instructor to pass your practical!) Rosie's communication is top notch and she's very flexible with her schedule to find time for lessons and the exam. She has all the qualities of a great teacher -- easy-going, patient, professional, and supportive. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal!

Negative experience: Made the mistake of block booking 10 lessons with these guys. Mr Moula was late to almost every session we had scheduled, with zero warning and often ignoring my phone calls. He also loved to cancel 15 mins before the session and attempt to reschedule for late in the day, which was a massive pain. On top of this, he would frequently have other students in the car at the start of the lessons, again without warning. The teaching itself was also unimpressive. We would forget what we had covered in the last lesson and therefore we repeated a lot of material. Finally, he often took phone calls during our lesson, or would listen to the radio instead of actually teaching.

He has been really flexible for my lessons timings and been really clear on all the instructions and making sure I understand everything. Can’t do this without you, Youness! Thank you so much for being so patient with me! Will totally recommend anyone who is looking for an instructor for their test!!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Rosey both my husband and I passed out practical driving test (manual car) on the first try! Rosey did a really great job overall! She very clearly explained all the exam rules and "tricks" and we managed to do enough practice on all the elements that very challenging to us to feel confident enough to sign up for the exam. She didn't try to make us take hundreds of additional hours of practice (unlike instructors in other driving schools) and instead planned our practice based on the progress made, altering our schedules were needed. She was very helpful and supportive, also very calm - which is super important when you're learning, you don't want anyone yelling or criticising everything you do without proper expansive. I would highly recommend Rosey to everyone! ❤️ P. S. Just thought I'd mention as well that she has a really "nice to work with" car. Also very important when you're learning

Negative experience: I hate giving bad reviews but if I could give 0 stars I would. As many reviews state I had Golam Moula as a driving instructor (nightmare - I know it’s harsh but it’s gotta be said). Around end of December 2022 he had gone back home due to an emergency which is fine but I wasn’t informed and I had a driving lesson scheduled at 9am on a Saturday. Normally, he’s late to lessons like 30 minutes or even later but he doesn’t even tell you that he’s coming late. He also tries to reschedule later during the day which is obviously inconvenient. He would go to his house and stay at least 20 minutes whilst I’m left in the car. He wouldn’t progress with the next steps and tried to instil the push and pull method which was super frustrating and unnecessary as it’s no longer required to do that in a driving test. He stated I would need 60 hours during my second lesson with him however, today I passed with two minors and I definitely didn’t do 60hrs worth of lesson not even close to it. Thankfully I switched to Eastend driving school, the best decision I’ve ever made to be honest. My current driving instructor hats off to him he did a really good job. Unlike Docklands driving school he doesn’t do “piggy backing” which is basically picking up other students which is a waste of time and it can make others feel uncomfortable which in my case I did feel uncomfortable. Eastend’s driving instructor managed to make up time when he does arrive late which was very rare only roughly 4 minutes late btw which is nothing and golam did not do that he never made the time up. Basically long story short he’s very unprofessional, and I agree with others he’s just in it to scam learner drivers. Sadly, I don’t like to say such things but I would say watch out anyway. Also just to mention he does ask you to cancel your test as he’ll find a test for you because he has a software which will help find a test however, he’ll only book it when HE thinks you’re ready. I don’t know maybe I was unlucky to have a bad experience but I’m just glad that I’ve passed and no longer have to deal with Mr Moula. It definitely wasn’t a pleasant experience. If you’re based at East London I would recommend Eastend driving school 100%.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test at Goodmayes in first attempt with the amazing support from Youness Choudhury. I only knew the basics of driving..so it was like a fresh start to learn car driving. I started taking lessons with him in Jan 2023 and passed my test in March 2023. His teaching is really good. He patiently explains all the rules, observes carefully the driving and gives proper feedback with tips. First few classes he taught me all the basic things and then when I was ready, we went to test centre to practice. I would definitely recommend Youness as I honestly believe he can teach anyone as he has quite lot of experience. His observation is good and his teaching is then dependent on the students strengths and weaknesses.I hope this is useful to any new learners as it was really hard for me to find a good instructor who teaches automatic car driving.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I passed my practical exam and came away with not just a licence but also someone I can call a friend. I remember that when I first began taking lessons, I would occasionally doubt my ability to drive because I had never done so in a country with such strict driving regulations or on the opposite side of the road. However we were able to get our desired results by sticking to your program and trusting in the process. Fantastic experience: Really excellent experience. Nayim was responsive and good humoured which made organising and taking lessons very pleasant. Communication always clear and I felt safe and in good hands at all times. Nayim is an excellent teacher who quickly assessed my level and needs as a learner and adapted his teaching style appropriately. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Highly recommend not to take go with docklands driving school and especially with Mr maula. He got no intention of passing the student , he just want to drag the classes and want to rob the money, when I enquired the classes soon after my theory, i had already got my practicals on December and I enquired the docklands and i got call back from mr maula, and he insisted me to start the classes on September when my test was in December, it was clear that he was looting moneyalso he assured me that he’l get dates for me earlier and asked me to cancel my test date which. Is difficult to get , always spends 15-20 min in his house when he is on the middle of driving class , he tries to rob the money atleast by dragging 30-40 hour classes with the person who knows to drive, and wants to get the license here.

Fantastic experience: changed to a new instructor 2 weeks before my test date and I just want to thank nayim for the amazing teaching within the short time he had. Lessons were very efficient and became confident and passed my test in just 2 weeks. Definitely would recommend .

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test at Goodmayes with the amazing support from Omar. I only started taking lessons with him end of October 2022 and passed my test beginning of December 2022 Alhamdulillah. I’ve had two instructors before but I have to say Omar’s teaching is the best as he teaches you to drive in local congested roads properly so you can implement your skills on any road and then test routes rather than just depending on learning the test routes. I failed my first two tests as I was being taught only in test routes and I relied on knowing the routes too much and not realising I need to learn to drive on any road not just in Goodmayes. I would definitely recommend Omar as I honestly believe he can teach anyone as he adapts his teaching depending on the students strengths and weaknesses. I have in fact already recommended Omar to a relative and a friend’s younger brother. I hope this is useful to any new learners as it was really hard for me to find a good instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test last week thanks to Omar!! Really impressed with his systems and lessons plans depending on your need. Rosey helped me with all tips and tricks to pass the exam and helped improve my driving skills to shift to British driving culture quickly. I would say as well that Rosey is a perfect companion. We had pleasant and easy-going conversations, and I enjoyed every lesson. I think Rosie has the talent to find a personal approach to teaching for every student. And one of the most important things for me is Rosey's car! It has smooth running and is so responsive. I think this car is 50% of my successfully passed exam.

Fantastic experience: I had Omar as an instructor and can't praise him enough. Initially had some 1 hour lessons to get used to controlling the car and then managed to get a test booked. At this point we set an aggressive schedule to focus on my weak points day after day for about 2 weeks, which was a great way for me to get confident and ready for the test. We also ran through all the show-me, tell-me questions as the test approached and pleased to say i managed to pass on my first attempt with only 2 minor faults with a total of approximately 25 hours of lessons. I can't thank Omar enough and would recommend him to anyone trying to get rid of those L plates quickly.

Negative experience: I'm really really upset! I specifically booked Omar because of the "good reviews" but my experience has been terrible! I'm even wondering if these are genuine reviews. I have only had one lesson and the past 3 lessons have been cancelled at very last minute and imagine everytime, I've had to arrange and rearrange childcare how many times! I've tried to contact the school several times but can't get through! To make matters worse, I have a test in a month exactly which he is aware off! Fuming! So unprofessional!

Negative experience: I would strongly not recommend Golam Moula. He fell asleep in the passenger seat on multiple sessions, was repeatedly late, would repeatedly be scheduling other lessons mid-lesson, and would psychologically make you question whether you are ready for the exam in order for you take more lessons. We also disagreed on the number of hours driven multiple times. Finally, to top it all off, he did not know the test routes even at the centre's that he claimed to know best. I ended up passing but no thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Docklands Driving to me, and I enquired about lessons soon after. I received a call straight away, and began learning with Mr Moula. I had previous driving experience with two different instructors but none of them were as good as Mr Moula! He made me feel comfortable, confident and even though he pushed me and sometimes lessons seemed hard - it was worth it in the end as I passed my test first time. We also had very interesting conversations, and listened to LBC together which I enjoyed. I will miss our lessons together, but very happy I passed first time with only 2 minors. THANK YOU MR MOULA!!!!!

Positive experience: I’d the opportunity of being a student of instructor Golam Maula from the Docklands Driving School. He was patient and understood my past driving habits/knowledge very well. This got me confident about tackling the test and the roads. He did bail or arrive late at some of the 30 classes I took, which did not help with the consistency/planning around it. However, I am delighted pass the practical test in one attempt with few minors. I’d highly recommend him in this school.

He is an amazing instructor and gives so much time and energy to make your driving skills better. He has a lot of patience and will make you ready as per the UK driving standards. Fantastic experience: I would like to thank my instructor Faysol as I received ongoing support & learned so much from him during my lessons. He was very professional, understanding and patient which was very helpful as I didn’t hesitate to ask any questions or feel like I shouldn’t make any type of mistakes. He didn’t only teach me how to pass my driving test but he gave me tips and techniques on how to be a good driver which was very beneficial and gave be advice on how to avoid my mistakes in the coming future. I appreciate his time, efforts and advice he has given me. He is the only instructor I’ve had & from my experience I have had with him I definitely recommend him and you will not be disappointed!!!
