Fantastic experience: I passed first time thanks to my instructor Muhammad. I felt confident and well prepared going into my exam as Muhammad went out of his way to support me. The lessons are well priced and developed my driving at a good pace. Added to that, when learning to drive you’re suddenly in a car with a stranger for a lot of hours, it helps to have someone easy to chat to who makes you feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know Muhammad over our lessons. He was always very respectful, you will be in good hands with him.

The instructor was fantastic I have never meet an instructor like east london finest driving schools instructor as they are very good with their skills very easy to understand and learn from. I have many in my years but not like them they do the job properly and make sure you pass. I must say they are the best I have meet and recommend to others please do go and book lessons with them you will not regret your experience with them. Quality and value is excellent and the company is reliable and punctual.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly instructors, patient when you make mistakes, calm under pressure when you start to panic. Give clear advice and instructions and prepare you for the exam. Mabz has been a good teacher. Taught me everything I need to know for the exam and training me to be a good driver. Hussain Mulla has been very helpful and prepared me for the exam improving my driving skills and preparing me for questions the examiner would ask. It’s thanks to them that I was able to pass the driving exam on my first time.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience, I wanted a few refresher courses after having not driven for a decade. There was a really swift response and they were able to work well with my schedule. The instructor made me feel relaxed and was friendly. Zee was clear and informative. She worked at my pace, made me feel confident and comfortable driving

Negative experience: What a terrible lesson. The instructor Zee showed up late and criticised my driving the entire time, causing me to stall more than I ever have. She also wasted time during our lesson scheduling other students. I've taken lessons with other instructors who were much more calm and patient resulting in better driving on my part - this school should vet its instructors better!

Fantastic experience: Was really nervous getting behind the wheel again after a long hiatus but after some really helpful refresher lessons with Zee I feel much more confident now. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I passed today on my first driving test with Mohammed Saad and honestly i do know that he is the top instructor anyone can have. I highly would recommended to take your driving lessons through him as he’ll make sure you’re on point with your driving before your test. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Josh, he was really friendly and a great instructor. I highly recommend taking lessons with ELF!

Negative experience: Got completely jerked around by this company. Stated very clearly upfront that I could only do 1 hour a week, as I work a full-time job and lessons would be during the work day. Paid £35 (!) for a trial lesson. Again told my instructor very clearly at the trial lesson that I could only do one hour a week, but he tried to persuade that "2 hours was better". I again told him that it wasn't possible, and he said he "understood", and that was it. Received a message with a finalised "schedule" for my lessons with 2-hour timeslots. Said I couldn't do that. No response for a week. Followed up a week later asking if we could still have lessons and received this: "Hi Zach I'm afraid I don't to 1 hr lessons. My minimum is 2/3 hrs." Waste of my time and £35 that I'll never get back

Fantastic experience: Passed today with 1 minor (first attempt). I only spent about a month with Muhammad and in that time he was able to bring me back up to test ready level, although I hadn’t taken a lesson for around two years. I would highly recommend Muhammad, he’s a great instructor, and he was good enough to give me some priority as my test date was very close. We covered everything systematically within the little time we had, he’s easy to talk to and get along with and punctual and fair with his timings. Highly highly recommend him as an instructor.

I would highly recommend him to anyone who has anxiety from driving and would like additional support or flexibility in taking lessons. He instilled confidence in me where I was very scared of driving initially due to another instructor from a different driving school. However, Muhammad catered to my driving needs along with being very friendly to make the learning experience something to look forward to. Fantastic experience: I took my automatic driving lessons with Joshim and I give him full credit for me passing my driving test! I’m a busy individual so punctuality and time keeping are very important to me, Joshim was always on time and kept me updated regularly. I was taught manoeuvres and skills which can be easily transferred to other vehicles and are not just restricted to the size of car I did my lessons in. Joshim was quick to point out my strengths and weaknesses and help me develop in the areas that I needed to. He is extremely patient, attentive and gives directions and explanations clearly, which is precisely what you want from your driving instructor. I’ve already recommended him and the driving school to a few friends and I’d highly recommend them to you too. If you want to pass your driving test, this is the driving school to use! Oh and I’d recommend block booking your lessons, not only are they cheaper but you also feel more committed and push yourself to learn what you need to ASAP! Btw I don’t normally leave reviews like this, but I’m genuinely grateful to have found these guys and appreciate how much time and energy they invested in me to help me pass, they surpassed my expectations and I never felt rushed to quickly finish my lessons, in fact I’m confident some lessons over ran because my instructor wanted to ensure I had learnt the manoeuvres that he was trying to teach me that day. Unfortunately some driving schools are just after your money, the more lessons you take with them the more money they make, with ELF their aim is very clearly to get you to pass your driving test as soon as possible and I was given that impression from my first driving lesson with them. Right this is the final point, I just want to add, I wasn’t just taught what to do to pass my driving test, Joshim also taught me what to do in real world situations like parking in small spaces between 2 cars, this isn’t something you need to do in your test but it is something that you need to do in the real world and that’s made me feel a lot more confident when I’m out on the road. If you’ve read this far, seriously, don’t look elsewhere, this is the driving school for you!

Fantastic experience: I've just passed on my first attempt, with zero miners thanks to the best instructor in East, Hussain! Having giving him only a six week window before my exam, he prepared an excellent plan to get me test ready. From start to finish I felt at ease with Hussain guiding me through our lessons, never feeling any frustration or irritability towards me, despite some silly mistakes on my part. Hussain was also a great companion in the car and the two hour lessons would fly by. Could not recommend anyone as highly as him, so thanks mate. Also the top quality car he has makes a huge difference when learning :)

Fantastic experience: Passed first time @ goodmayes. Had the pleasure and good luck of having Muhammed as my instructor. I have been driving in India for almost a decade and was under the assumption that I wont need much classes to pass here. However Muhammed assessed my driving and identified things I am good at and things I need to work on. The classes then focussed on correcting my faults early on and he gave very good feedback after each class which helped me immensely to improve and get ready for the test. He also has good knowledge of the test routes and helped me practice in couple of routes and luckily I had the same route during the test. He has always been on time and is always accommodating when it comes to booking classes and that helped me schedule my classes outside my busy work hours. Thanks a ton Muhammed for all the help and guidance!!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test in manual today thanks to Basith! He is really good at helping me to understand everything! I’ve had a couple different instructors in the past, and I felt like I wasn’t understand anything, I just couldn’t get the biting point right etc. Once I started lessons with Basith, he explained it so well that I instantly got it. I am so so happy I passed, and I definitely couldn’t have done it with him!!!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Basith, amazing instructor will teach you how to drive properly and prepare for the test. He will break down maneuver on an ipad for you to fully comprehend the technicalities, also very patient. Passed with few minors.

Fantastic experience: Josh was a fantastic driving instructor. I passed my driving test my first time because of how thorough and patient he is. He was best at building my confidence by finding the areas I struggled with the most and encouraging me to keep tackling them. He was also very flexible with the amount of lessons and times I wanted/needed. I genuinely recommend Josh as an instructor particularly if you are nervous or want the skills to handle all types of driving situations.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, please avoid! I have been driving with Mabz for 54 hours before failing my test in September 2020. He doesn’t teach, he just sits back and lets you drive (it’s like driving with your dad or uncle). The £1300 I have spent are literally thrown out of the window. I just passed my test last month with another instructor who properly taught me. The experience was totally different, I feel like I am now a confident driver with proper knowledge of the road. I’m very disappointed with “East London’s finest driving school”.

Fantastic experience: I had no driving experience in the UK prior to enrolling with ELFDS. A friend who passed his test recommended Josh and I am glad he did! Josh is a very friendly and calm instructor with tons of patience. We spent around 40 hours together and he never raised his voice or came across as frustrated about any mistakes I made while learning to drive. He adapted to my needs and helped me to feel fully ready ahead of my test, which I passed! It was a pleasure having him as an instructor!

He was very patient throughout the several lessons I took from him. He is also a very organised and professional instructor who is on time. With Josh’s help I felt well prepared for my exam as we had practiced all essential manoeuvres and different exam routes that later helped me with my test.

Fantastic experience: Josh is a very well mannered instructor, very calm and has a lot of patients. Even the littlest mistakes you make contently he doesn’t get mad he is so good would recommend such instructor as you need someone very calm and doesn’t shout or keeps telling you off need some patient and calm.

Fantastic experience: Thank you SO much to Josh! Passed all thanks to his super calm and patient instructing. I had never driven a car before learning with Josh (and was quite anxious) but he really supported me through the entire process and never got annoyed or frustrated when I made silly mistakes! Honestly could not have done it without him. 100% recommend, you'll have lots of laughs and learn everything you need to for the test and beyond!

Fantastic experience: Having driven for more than 20 years in India, I needed to find an instructor who would help me unlearn and learn the UK way of driving. Mabz was an absolutely patient instructor but at the same time extremely pragmatic and giving tips to pass the UK driving test. After 15 hours of driving and learning the rules here, I managed to pass the test with ease. I highly recommend East London's Finest Driving school not just for first time learners but also for experienced drivers to navigate the system here. Punctual and perfect communication skills also makes them stand out!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Hussein enough. He's been very patient with me, and his explanations are fantastic. He was able to give me a comprehensive understanding of not only how to drive smart, but also how the car works. Not only have I passed my test, but I've also learnt how to be a GOOD driver and I feel very COMFORTABLE on the road which I think is the most important skill on the road, especially knowing how unpredictable the road is and how quickly you need to adapt to situations where you may be pressured. If you choose to drive with ELF driving school, pick Hussein! You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I recently learned to drive with mabz. After originally learning over 13 years ago and failing my test I had never really overcome my nerves and had found any excuse not to drive again. I decided to give it a go, and this time decided to try an intensive learning course. Mabz really helped me to feel at ease, and when I did make silly mistakes he knew how to not dwell on them and to build confidence. I found him extremely patient and calm at all times. After just a week I took the test, and was so much more calm. I passed and I had found I actually quite enjoyed driving for the first time rather than just seeing it as something to be anxious about. Mabz recommended during the course that I would not need all the hours I had booked. He therefore suggested holding a few back. This way if I failed I had some left, if I passed he would refund. As it turned out I didn't need these hours and after passing received a prompt refund. I believe that shows real honesty and integrity. So I highly recommend this way of learning, and mabz as an instructor. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: PASSED!!! Thanks so much to Josh who calmly took me through everything I needed to pass FIRST TIME in Chingford. He answered all my silly questions with understanding and patience, and was great to chat to in Hackney’s traffic jams. We went on all kinds of roads at different times of day/night which helped me feel prepared for driving down to Kent on my first drive after passing. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I highly suggest booking driving lessons with ELF and Joshim (Josh)! Over the past few months, I've been taking automatic lessons once a week to prepare for my test. Today I passed for the first time with only 1 minor fault and I cannot thank Josh enough for all his help! He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, which made the whole process enjoyable and informative. Each lesson I felt I was given proper feedback, areas to improve and ways I can better my driving. Josh was so patient throughout each lesson, really took the time to answer my endless questions and helped me feel relaxed and calm when I needed it. My confidence in driving improved massively over the time we spent on lessons, so when it came to my test I was ready and excited. Not only is Josh an amazing instructor but he was such a lovely person to speak to, so friendly and welcoming which helped put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I did automatic driving with Josh and did about 60-70 hours over the course of the year due to COVID. But despite that I was able to pass my theory and driving practical first time. Josh has a laid back style to teaching his lessons, which I personally like. I’ve had driving instructor in the past who threw too information at me in the sessions, that it was hard to absorb the info. But Josh is very simple and direct with giving information which made it easy for me to take in. Thank you again Josh and good luck to everyone trying to get their driver’s license.
