Fantastic experience: Kingdom Deiving school(Waqar) is wonderful, I failed 4 times with other instructors but just 9hours lesson with Waqar I passed once. I highly recommend

Negative experience: If you're booking lessons in the Croydon area and you're put in touch with Raja Akbar, ask for someone else. I booked 12hrs of driving lessons with him through Kingdom. What I got was someone who: -Cancelled 4 lessons, sometimes on the day itself. This caused gaps in my learning that at times ran into weeks. -Agrees to a date and time, then changes his mind about the start time during the lesson for the following day. -Conducts himself in an unprofessional manner, assuming an unwanted father/son like dynamic. Being called young man or praised as a good boy, felt ridiculous and condescending given that I'm middle aged. -Brought personal politics into lessons, unprompted. For example he would comment on the situation in Palestine (2024) and ask if I have killed anyone or would I go to war out there and bomb civilians. -On one occasion when I challenged his approach to feedback, I got a disparaging remark about my ethnicity on why it wasn't effective. Needless to say I am now actively looking for another driving instructor. If Kingdom read this, I would take this as an opportunity to review the conduct of your instructors and where necessary, give them training and instruction on how to conduct themselves with customers. You've lost out on future revenue now because of Raja's conduct.

Waqar sorted me out with great efficiency. We had a couple of lessons before my test he scheduled me in despite being busy and his methods were very good. I passed first time despite the nerves. Negative experience: Worst instructor of my life. Asif was terrible at helping me learn to drive. I had him around a year ago but have only got round to writing a review now. I was such a nervous and anxious driver starting off and he gave me no sort of reassurance at all. He used to always shout at me when I got thinks wrong and would be on the phone during our lessons. Do not book with him!

It only took 2 hours session and i was fully ready for my next day test. It was my first attempt and my test was on 13th Jan 2024 and i passed it. I am soo happy that he taught me everything.
