Camrider Training: Reviews
Fantastic experience: My partner and I came here for our CBT's on 125 bikes and couldn't be happier with our experience. Both having little experience on bikes, our instructor Dave was friendly, knowledgeable and structured the day brilliantly. My partner was a bit nervous beforehand and unsure as to whether she'd like to obtain her full licence, but our day with camrider has left her full of confidence and a desire to go for it! After a few months of practice we'll certainly be looking to come back for our full licences. Another mention for Dave, his calmness and overall approach to the on road section of the CBT was truly first class. Thanks again and see you soon!
Fantastic experience: Got my license here, very knowledgeable instructors, Aaron will make sure you are doing things right.
Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with Matt yesterday after a return to road. Great enthusiastic team overall. Will definitely be returning for my Direct Access when the time comes!
Fantastic experience: I learned to ride here, starting with no experience, and would 100% recommend them to anyone interested.
Fantastic experience: I did a six session course including a CBT and both the MOD1 and MOD2 tests on the big bikes. The instruction and pacing were ideal for me. I learnt lots of nuances, passed my tests and most importantly feel well prepared to be out on the roads riding independently. Genuine, friendly and professional staff who clearly take a personal interest in the success of their learners. Cheers, I had fun!
Fantastic experience: Did my CBT for the first time at 17. Was nervous and afraid i was gonna mess up tons of times but the instructor was great, pointing out the problems and making me repeat till i had it down. Very chilled learning experience which made it way easier to learn. Thanks!
Fantastic experience: After looking around at different places to do my motorcycle lessons, I decided to go with camrider and I'm so glad I did. I was a complete novice. I spoke with Vicky on the phone who explained the courses & costs. I explained that I suffer with anxiety, she was very understanding and reassuring. I completed my CBT, mod1 & mod2 here and passed 1st time! This was all thanks to Aaron and Matt. They were both fantastic teachers. They were friendly, made me feel calm (even though it didn't appear i was) , they are very knowledgeable, explained everything well, and if I ever made a mistake they never made me feel silly for it. They are all amazing there - so friendly! I will miss seeing them weekly. You won't regret training with camrider.
Fantastic experience: want to give thanks to Luke and the Team at Camrider Booked a DAS course through them and spoke to Vicky who guided me through the structure of the course and booked everything for me along the way which I want to give a big shout out to. Can’t recommend Camrider enough! they’re super knowledgeable, easy to get on with and overall great people i can’t recommend them enough. Want to thank Matt and Aaron especially for giving me the confidence and support throughout the DAS course Thanks guys!
Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing training, couldn’t wish for better, Luke and Vicky are truly brilliant people, helpful, very knowledgeable and genuinely top notch. Can not recommend them enough Matt and Aaron are really both the best instructors you could wish for, many thanks to them both
Positive experience: My experience with Cambridge was largely positive with minor issues during the CBT. I spent the bulk of my time with Camrider on their DAS course. I found my instructor, Matt, to be always friendly, approachable and professional - he offered encouragement, positive reinforcement and constructive criticism exactly when I needed them, and did a fantastic job of identifying what we needed to work on for the test proper. I wasn't instructed by Aaron, but he did take me out for my final Mod 2 and he did a great job bolstering my morale before the test proper. The only poor aspects of my time with Camrider was on the CBT. Overall, the format of the course was fine, but I found that the attitude of the instructor, Mark (who has since retired), was unhelpful. I attended three CBT sessions with Mark, and while he started chummy enough, as sessions went on he would frequently grow frustrated, needling me and other riders about how we "should know this by now" when our total riding experience might have been a few hours total, among other things, such as swearing at me for misinterpreting his directions and taking the wrong exit at a roundabout. Mark - unlike the other instructors! - did very little to build up my self-confidence and I genuinely believe his negative attitude held me back throughout my training. Overall, the DAS training was very good, and I would recommend training with Camrider for your full licence. My experience with the CBT was mixed, but as Mark has since retired, I can't speak to the quality of the current instructors, though I suspect Mark was an anomaly among what is otherwise a very friendly and accommodating crew.
Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing! Professional, knowledgeable and also fun. Had a great experience and passed first time - Highly recommend them
Negative experience: Please READ their negative Reviews before going to this school as these are the ones which describe this place the best. THE POSITIVE REVIEVS ARE ALL NICE AND LOOK GOOD BUT WITH THIS SCHOOL THE PROBLEM IS THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY. Please read my review and few other negative reviews before going to them and spending your money as you may be better off going somewhere else. *** PLEASE AVOID THIS SCHOOL AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED *** AND IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE AND MAKE YOUR BIKE EXPERIENCE ENJOYABLE AS WELL. To say they are trying their best to rip you off would be a major understatement ! They are only interested in your money and NOT interested in your safety, I have actually risked my life being trained by them. I have paid £504 which was half of their full course to do Full Motorcycle Licence ( ... and I have done CBT and 1 session on the big bike for this money !!! ). CBT was split in 2 days separated by over a week and was done in the way to mess everything up, bike was so poor and wrecked it even displayed Neutral all the time. When I complained about it I was given another bike with other problems. Then after spending most of my course wasting my time on a small wrecked bikes and doing "so called CBT" I was told on the beginning of the 3rd session that I am going to be riding the big bike NOW and we went straight out to do some city riding !!! No training on the big bike in a safe place, no practice in safe environment beforehand. JUST start the bike and go out to train on the main road with Lorries and Buses around. I was so scared and felt pushed so much that I have lost all my confidence and desire to do the full bike licence then. All because of Vicky who only talked about money, extra sessions, extra training and did not have a clue what the proper training is all about. I have told them I will be taking my time and do not want to push myself too much with riding a 600cc bike too soon, I have told them I want to do some riding and get some experience on my 125 bike 1st and then continue the course ... and then I was literally blagged by Vicky to continue and told not to practice on my 125cc bike as it will not help me at all, create problems with training later on and I was told I need to keep coming back to them for training and continue riding the big bike as smaller bike experience will not help me at all. The fact I was scared, intimidated and have lost all of my confidence was ignored. The only important thing was that I keep spending money with them and training with them and commit straight away there and then to continue the course with Camrider Cambridge. I did not listen to Vicky, spent some time riding my 125 bike and when I wanted to complete Mod1 and Mod2 and pay them the remaining balance to complete my course I was told I need to first come for assessment lesson which was £163 so they can see what kind of training I need. Upon hearing this bull...t I gave up on them for good and went to another very good school, passed Mod1 , Mod2 and have got full licence now. I am happy I did not go back there and ignored Vicky this time. Main problem with this school is their method of draining money from people ... when they see they do have someone new to bikes they scare you 1st , then charge you for extra training , this is how this company operates. Please be aware of this and read negative reviews 1st as they are the real ones.
Fantastic experience: Just passed my Mod 2 today. Thanks a lot to the team at Camrider Sawston! Did many of my training sessions with Aaron, who's changed and improved my riding to a whole new level. And also to Matt for setting me up and refined for the day. Top school.
Fantastic experience: Vicky, Luke, Arran, Matt, Dave, and Mark have all been great at building my confidence from a nervous reck on my first day on the CBT to a confident rider on the 600 I really never thought I would be a fully qualified Rider after 3mths Thank you all.
Fantastic experience: Well organised, very helpful in arranging lessons and tests around my shifts and all the trainers cover everything really well, couldn't recommend them highly enough
Fantastic experience: From initial enquiry to passing my mod2, Vicky, Luke and all the staff at Camrider have been nothing but fantastic, they straight away make you feel at home, and treat you like a friend. Vicky explains the direct access options and makes it very simple to understand. Although I was a bit concerned that it was one session a week, looking back now I can see that it makes sense, you have a lot more time to take in what you are taught. From CBT to first big bike session the teaching style was firm but fair and most importantly fun! The onsite shop also is great if you get there early and want to spend some money. Again with great knowledge and expertise from all the staff. I will be recommending Camrider Cambridge to everyone and anyone.
Fantastic experience: The team at Camrider, Cambridge, are absolutely brilliant! I completed my CBT, Mod 1 & 2, passing first time for both. The team are very experienced, great training techniques and very approachable. The team are also very knowledgeable in terms of kit with a great selection to browse in-store. Thank you all at Camrider, Cambridge!
Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say a massive thank you to camrider for helping me aqquire my full motorcycle licence. They helped give me the confidence and ability to ride safely and properly on the road. Wanted to say thank you to all the instructors for helping me through my course including Mark, Matt, Aaron and David. They were all really informative and helped me come over any issues and eliminate any bad habits that I had picked up from riding while having my cbt. Also wanted to say a massive thanks to Vicky and Luke for making the booking process and dates easily available and simple. Overall really good experience with Camrider and would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is interested in getting their motorcycle licence.
Negative experience: I was really looking forward to the CBT day. Contrary to all the positive reviews my experience was dreadful. There are several bad reviews from a few years ago that align with my experience and should not be overlooked. The instructor's conduct was poor—rude, negative, and impatient. There was a blatant disregard for our welfare; no breaks were allowed or scheduled throughout the day. The day was disorganized, with lots of waiting around and sales pitches. The centre claimed we ran out of time and couldn't complete our 2-hour road ride, and would have to pay for another half-day session costing £100. We arrived at 7:30 for an 8am start. First, our instructor, Mark, gave an intro to the day, talked about safety equipment, and provided us with all our gear. When I asked to try a medium helmet instead of the small one he gave me, Mark refused, responding rudely and raising his voice: "No! I've already told you that one fits you fine." When I explained that it was tight, he refused to let me try a bigger helmet. Following this, Mark gave us a 45-minute tour and sales pitch of the onsite shop, repeatedly mentioning discounts for students. When we finally went outside to start our training, the bikes were not prepared. We stood around for c.30 minutes while Mark took the bikes out and completed the checks, which should have been done beforehand. There were three of us on the course, all in our late 20s/30s. We paid to be there, wanted to learn and pass the course, but Mark spoke to us like naughty children all day. When one lady accidentally revved the bike, he yelled, "I did not tell you to touch that, I need you to listen, don't do anything unless I tell you." Throughout the day, he made us feel rushed and belittled. The day was hot, mid-20°C, and sunny. We were on black tarmac in full gear. When myself and another student took our helmets off for a drink, Mark yelled, "We've not got time for this, I need you to be ready, you're delaying the day." When I asked a clarifying question, he rudely interrupted, "What is not clear about what I just said," and then re-explained the task the same way. When I asked my question again, he answered in a very annoyed tone. By 10:30, Mark was saying we were behind schedule, despite starting the practical session not long ago. At 11:30 am, I asked about a lunch break. Mark said we didn't have time for one and if we took one, we wouldn't complete the course. From 7:30 am to 12 pm, we were non-stop without a break until I decided to take one for my wellbeing. I felt lightheaded, wanted to give up. At 12, Mark decided we had too much left to do and wouldn't have time for the 2-hour ride. After a half-hour break, we got through activities quicker, but Mark became more impatient and condescending. He kept saying we weren't listening, although we were trying to learn a new skill. I fell behind on one activity, so he separated me, which was fair. However, he explained an activity to the others but not to me. When I watched them and then asked a question, Mark snapped, "Well, if you weren't sulking, and watched them like I asked you it would be clear." When I asked about road positioning, he admitted, "Oh yeah, I didn't explain that part to you." We completed the practical session 14:30-ish, Mark then discussed the highway code, relevant but very dragged out, including a 10-minute ramble about road rage in a supermarket car park. We finished just before 4pm. Mark said we could go on a 45-minute road ride but would have to return for another half day to complete the course for £100 more. Mark seemed to plan that we wouldn't complete the CBT in one day. In the morning, he mentioned many people fail their CBT, and throughout the day, he kept saying we were behind, adding stress. One group member picked up everything quickly and waited around for the rest of us but still couldn't complete the CBT that day. The onsite facilities were dreadful. There was one toilet, disgustingly dirty, and a broken cold tap on the sink. It seemed unclean for a year, shockingly unhygienic.
Dear Nicola, I was incredibly sad to read your review. I’d like very much to investigate for you and get you to a point where you feel happy. As the overall franchisor I know the Cambridge site very well and your experience does not match the high standards I know they have, and of course the hundreds of positive reviews. The Cambridge site has always been held in incredibly high regard and I need to find out why your experience was not first class! If you could call the head office on 0800 387198 I can deal with this personally. I will have a conversation with Luke, Vicky and Mark tomorrow to get their feedback. Assuring you of a quick response. Kindest regards Bern Adams Managing Director Camrider Group
Fantastic experience: I recently completed my motorcycle driving lessons at Camrider Cambridge, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of instruction and overall experience. Special thanks to Arron for being so patient with me and giving me the confidence that I needed to pass the MOD 2. My overall experience with Camrider Cambridge was outstanding. The combination of expert instruction, comprehensive lessons, and a focus on safety made learning to ride a motorcycle an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I highly recommend Camrider Cambridge to anyone looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle or improve their riding skills. Thanks Guys!
Thank you Nuno. We really appreciate the post Feedback. Wishing you many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kind regards, Bern Adams.
Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend the team at Sawston Camrider more highly. From their outstanding communication during the booking process to their top-notch training and exceptional instructors, every aspect was fantastic. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.
Fantastic experience: Joined Camrider in Sawston to prepare myself for cat A mod1 and mod2 exams. I had the opportunity to be trained by David, Matt and Aaron. Everyone was very informative and helpful including kind Vicky at the reception. Special thank you to instructor David for his patience, approach and kindness. One of a kind :) I also passed all at 1st attempt :) Thank you Team!
Thank you so much for the kind review!!
Fantastic experience: I still cant quite believe what has happened today. I’ve only gone and passed my MOD2. Wow what a journey it’s been. The husband done lots of research and we decided (even though there were closer locations) to start my DAS through Camrider Cambridge. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the first call with Vicky, we were both put at ease. Poor Vicky then got calls, emails, tears and so much more from me. She really has been a rock. Her husband Luke…the stories that man can tell. All comes from a wealth of knowledge, and he is also brilliant at taking the time to sit and listen and make you feel better. Although he did nearly get a sharp kick to the back of the knee a few times for referring to me a Caroline!! Then we move on to the instructors, Ben who is sadly no longer there. What a job he had! I cried on him and point blankly refused to ride on the road lol. Then it was down to Matt and the tall guy who prefers pets to humans.(thank vicky for that) I was also told to cry on him as he needed the practice! Honestly there are not enough words for you both. I never thought I’d have that feeling you spoke about “just go out and enjoy the ride” I felt sick constantly. I dropped the bike numerous times, and I came with less than zero confidence it plenty of chat!! You never got cross, or frustrated with me (to my face lol) and you both pushed me forward when i constantly doubted my abilities. And to the latest camrider instructor, the first ride we had together was to the test centre. I had had a little blip on my own bike days before my test. I’d lost all my confidence and was super quiet (unheard of) and ultimately failed the test…rightly so. But you got my bubbly personality full force on my extra session before my next test, a few days later. Which was also your birthday! Today I was taken over to the test centre by the man who has “manly sneezes” (his own words! Aka the tall guy). So he had to put up with my chat all morning! You guys are beyond amazing. I really wish I was better at explaining what an impact you’ve all had on me. Not only what a great team you are, but what amazing individuals you are too. I’m going to miss seeing you all. But I will pop over and say hi. Thank you a million times over. Much love Caz. If you are considering these people and you’re scrolling through the reviews. Stop scrolling and just do it. Book through Camrider Cambridge. They will get you through it, and I strongly believe there are no better out there. They are worth every penny!!
Thank you Caz! I will be sure to pass on your thanks. It was a pleasure to help you and we all wish you many years of safe and happy motorcycling! Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Great team at Camrider who take genuine care in teaching you what's needed for the tests and safer motorbike riding. Convenient location just outside Cambridge, typically half day sessions, nice bikes to learn on, modern intercom system which worked perfectly throughout all my sessions, general all round nice people to learn from, can't fault any aspects... Well... The coffee machine didn't take apple pay... so if you're wanting a coffee before / after then be sure to bring a card of some sort !! ...If that's the only negative then you know you're in good hands :)
Fantastic experience: All the staff at camrider make you feel very welcome and very helpful with any questions and information you need on your training. I found the instructors are very thorough and l felt they genuinely want you to succeed, l couldn't recommend them more if your thinking of getting a motorcycle licence. They also have a motorcycle clothing and equipment store on site and are expert on giving you advice on what you will need when you start riding.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic training school. The level of attention, patience and encouragement from everyone there is amazing. Not forgetting the valuable advice on multiple things from Vicky, everything is seamless. Passed all tests first time. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic riding school. Although they’ve seen it all before they welcome you into their school family and really want to help you succeed. They are on hand at any time to help you with queries with your training, provide lots of support, encouragement and banter !! The skill level of the instructors is phenomenal and if you’re willing they like to help you to develop. Passed cbt, mod1 and mod2 first time. Couldn’t recommend them more !!!
Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness I will miss these guys. They are so supportive, possitive and creative. I was so nervous and lacking in confidence at the start and now I feel so confident and happy to ride anywhere. Even through the middle of Cambridge !. Thank you all so much. Each instructor and the whole team are really lovely people.
Fantastic experience: Passed my test over a decade ago so booked a refresher. I am so glad I did. Matt was beyond excellent. Knowledge of best road position and what safety checks I needed to make sure were in place was great. Good pace and he built my confidence so well. His Knowledge of safe proactive defensive riding was brilliant. I had a great three hour one to one. I am kind of sad it is over. But came home got on my own bike and felt totally capable and safe. Would recommend all day long. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend camrider enough. Excellent instructors. The instructors took their time to help me where I needed help and made me feel confident when taking my tests
Fantastic experience: I completed the A2 licence and cbt with camrider with no previous experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone for completing lessons or tests as they are very friendly and informative instructors and staff.
Fantastic experience: Mark is a fantastic instructor, armed with lots of hints and tips to get you through. I would thoroughly recommend him and Camrider in general
Fantastic experience: As a rider in the USA for 15 years and other countries before that I came to get my UK motorcycle license with a plethora of bad habits and over confidence . The Camrider team were just what was needed with great technical expertise, good interpersonal skills and most importantly patience to get me through .. can’t say enough about my very positive experience … THANK YOU
Fantastic experience: Thanks to Mark, Matt, Arron, Vicky, Luke for helping me pass the full A licence first time. You all are very patient and knowledgable. I got a no minor pass which is amazing. I couldn't be happier! Hope to see you on the road soon!
Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Camrider enough. They really made the whole experience a pleasure from start to finish. For a newbee biker they were very patient with me and taught me a hell of alot of stuff. A big shout out to one of the instructors Ben, who without him I doubt I would have passed
Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend these guys enough for doing any sort of motorbike training, I took my full bike licence with these guys and passed first time today, they have a way of teaching people that makes it very easy to understand. massive thankyou to Matt for getting me through both my tests and training days, and a big thankyou to Aaron for doing the same. Brilliant group of people, very friendly, endless amounts of support. Thankou again.
Fantastic experience: A great experience with Mark, Matt, and Aaron, not forgetting Luke and Vicky! Who together provided a great learning experience, informative and focused first of all but also fun and inclusive. Highly recommended to all dipping their toe into the world of two wheels!
Fantastic experience: To anyone looking to get started with bikes, you cannot go far wrong with Camrider. I have recently passed my full test with the guidance of top quality staff and instructors, even in the cold and rain no lessons were missed or cut short. Thank you guys for all the help and support in obtaining my full licence.
Fantastic experience: CAMRIDER, Where do I start! Firstly I have not been on a bike since my teens so to say I needed the full course with Camrider is an understatement especially as my aim was to gain my full motorbike licence. I initiated my interest by calling Camrider on the phone to be welcomed by Vicky, this woman is exceptional to a fault. She explained to me exactly what the course involved, how long it takes and most importantly the cost and safety aspects. After one conversation with Vicky, I had decided that Camrider was the only place to do this test and boy was I right. I had actually been talking to her for the best part of a year before I had then done my theory and finally booked in the first half of my 6 session course. I had carried out various sessions with, Ben, Matt and Aaron as well as ever-informative conversations with Luke and Vicky during my course there and I can’t express enough how patient they all are, and they really will get you to a test-passing confidence that you probably don’t think you have with their detailed step by step training and talks. I have just passed my full test 4 days ago and I am over the moon, again I can’t express enough how good the team are at Camrider DO NOT consider any other company but them. Oh and they also have their own parts and clothing shop that’s like a bikers santa’s grotto (must see)! Good luck. Rosh (recent successful Camrider pupil)
Dear Roshan, Thank you for your kind and comprehensive feedback! We're thrilled to have been a part of your journey back to biking and assisting you in achieving your full motorcycle licence. Your kind words about our team, especially Vicky and the instructors, mean a lot to us. Congratulations on passing your test! We appreciate your recommendation and wish you many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kindest regards, Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: I’m highly recommending Cam Rider in Sawston (Cambridge), their training methods are perfect and the instructors are brilliant. Passed my Mod 1 today with no faults and I’ve got my mod 2 booked a week after! I’ve had all three instructors and they have been nothing but amazing! Any queries I’ve had they have answered. Five stars from me . James
Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Luke, Vicky, Matt and all at Camrider Sawston. Passed my Mod2 today thanks to the professionalism and support of a great team and especially Matt's patience, encouragement and ethos of teaching 'safe riding' and not just what's needed to pass the tests.
Thank you Stuart! So glad we could assist.
Fantastic experience: Great friendly staff. Did my CBT here as first time elsewhere I didn’t pass. Instructor was amazing and extremely patient, made sure I understood everything perfectly. Felt super comfortable and safe at all times and was extremely pleased with the service. Recommend to anyone looking to pass their CBT first time round.
Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with Camrider and I can’t thank them enough. The whole team are very good at what they do. Whether it’s the training or the advice about bikes and gear they are always happy to help. 100% would recommend!
Fantastic experience: The team at Camrider Sawston have been second to none with taking me through the direct access course. Great communication, friendly instructors and in general top quality service. Couldn’t recommend enough.
Fantastic experience: I went from no motorcycling knowledge or experience to passing the test for a full license in a few weeks. Thanks to Luke,Vicky,Matt,Aaron and Ben. Top team who observed my performance, didn't let me cut corners, criticised when necessary and put up with all my questions. I'd recommend them if you want to get your motorcycling journey off to a great start.
Fantastic experience: The team at Camrider Sawston got me through my Mod 1 & 2 tests first time with 0 minors for my A2 license. The instructors are all spot on -- identifying your weaknesses/ bad habits and helping you to address them. The learning is progressive and you will always feel confident with what you are asked to do.
Fantastic experience: What can I say about the folks at Camrider? Absolutely incredible guys and gals who were just brilliant at taking me though from CBT to full licence in 2 months. Big shout out to Ben, Matt, Aaron, Vicki and Luke for all the help and encouragement throughout my journey and I couldn't be happier with Camrider. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to learn to ride.
Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars instead of 5 I would , I passed my full motorcycle license this morning first time via the direct access route they offer . Fantastic and clear instructions from all of the instructors at cam rider . It’s a very relaxed atmosphere so if you feel nervous they will put you at ease , happy to answer any of my questions I asked. Vicky was extremely helpful to fit the training and tests around my schedule. If you are looking for a training centre … look no further this is the one . Thanks again camrider
Fantastic experience: Just passed full motorcycle training with Camrider. First time passes from.a novice. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great training kit and methods. Particular shout out to Matt who is a superstar. His knowledge and teaching style are first class. Great job team. Logistics and support are the best Thank you so ,much
Fantastic experience: I could not recommend highly enough. I did my CBT and Direct Access and passed all first time. Vicky is amazing and managed to accommodate all my sessions and tests around my schedule. My training was split between Matt and Arron who are both exceptional instructors. They are spot on with their analysis of your riding and areas to focus on, and create an environment where you feel comfortable to ask questions and clarify any concerns you may have. I felt very well prepared for my MOD 1 & 2 and because of this preparation there were no surprises. THANK YOU to all of the team!!!
Fantastic experience: I did my CBT and direct access course with Cam rider. The instructor Aaron was great. Really knowledgeable and able to give useful advice - he doesn't miss anything! Passed mod 1 & 2 on my first attempt. Highly recommended
Fantastic experience: FANTASTIC!! My brother and I took our cbt here on Friday, I really can’t thank Ben our instructor enough for his patience and skill of training. It was raining heavy most of the day and his vibe kept my nerves down all day. I will definitely be returning when I go for my full license. All of the staff there were really nice and gave great advice when buying some gear in their shop at the end of the day. Thank you all so much! ✌️
Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend them enough. A professional and approachable team that get things done and sorted in a trouble free way. From Vicky - an extremely organised and true problem solver -, to Arron - who teachs you at the highest standards-, to Matt and Luke. The fantastic four that got me from completely inexperienced (having just been on a small bike for two days in my life) to pass my full licence mod1 and mod2 with just a minor fault at mod 1 and a clean pass at mod 2 in just 5 weeks.
Fantastic experience: Camrider Sawston is more than 5 stars. I had such a great time there with all my training and passing my Mod1 & Mod2 first time. I can't thank the team enough for all the help they offered. Vicky gave me all the information I needed and was helpful throughout my experience there. I had Aaron as my instructor and made things fun while training, with his knowledge helped me get through it all. All the staff is knowledgeable, very friendly, welcoming and always have a smile. Helping you every step of the way. I would highly recommend Camrider Sawston. Oh yes and one great thing is they have a 2-way com, so you can ask questions and just have a conversation with eachother while out on the road making you feel more relaxed. Thank you to all the staff at Camrider.
Thank you Byron for the very kind review. We really appreciate your feedback. It’s always great to hear that a customer had an enjoyable time learning to ride with us. I will be sure to pass your praise onto all the staff at Camrider Cambridge. Wishing you many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kindest regards Bern Adams.

Highly recommend anyone looking to do their CBT or full license, go speak to the guys at Camrider. They were very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire course start to finish. To Matt, Aaron, Ben, Luke, Vicky and Mark, a big thank to you all, from Ashley
Fantastic experience: Thanks to all at Camrider for helping me pass my MOD 1 and 2 first time, in particular to Aaron and Matt who were very patient and full of tips and encouragement. Overall a great experience and thoroughly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of training at Camrider Cambridge, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. The staff at Camrider were incredibly helpful and provided all the necessary information and were always available to address any queries I had. They ensured that I felt comfortable and well-informed and their support made the entire process seamless and stress-free. The motorcycles they provide for training are in excellent condition, and safety is clearly a top priority for them. I felt confident knowing that I was learning to ride on well-maintained, reliable machines. The instructors at Camrider are truly experts in their field. They possess extensive knowledge and experience, and their passion for motorcycling is evident in the way they teach. They were patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at breaking down complex manoeuvres into easily understandable steps. I always felt supported and safe under their guidance, which boosted my confidence as I progressed through the training sessions. They understand that every learner has different needs and skill levels, and they tailored the training sessions accordingly. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to enhance your existing riding skills, Camrider will meet your specific requirements. This helped me focus on areas where I needed improvement, ensuring I was fully prepared for both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests. I am thrilled to say that I successfully passed both my tests (first time!), thanks to the exceptional training I received at Camrider. Their commitment to excellence and dedication to providing a safe, confident riding experience is truly commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend Camrider to anyone looking for the best motorcycle training experience. Thank you to Arron, Matt, Luke, Vicky and the team at Camrider Cambridge, for empowering me with the skills and knowledge to enjoy the road on two wheels safely! P.S. I went for a different British brand of motorcycle that’s quite a bit bigger…!
Thank you Eleanor! We are so glad we could assist you. It was a pleasure training you and we wish you many years of safe and happy motorcycling!
Fantastic experience: Amazing people and amazing training! Thanks to you all in Camrider you made my dream come true and I made my full A license first time. Can't thank you enough. And that's my first bigger bike
Really glad we could help you. Hoping to see you on your new motorcycle! Kindest regards
Fantastic experience: Passed my Mod 1 and Mod2 with these guys. Vicky is lovely and got everything booked for me and gave me lots of advice, and Aaron trained me the whole time. Other than complaining about having a really nice Triumph (poor him, violins were played, very sad) he was a fab trainer. Explained everything really well. Gave lots of great examples as to why to do/not do certain things. He's a fantastic rider and trainer and I've heard nothing but good things about everyone else there too. They even managed to teach my American boyfriend the alien concept of clutch control. I'll be throwing the rest of my family their way. Thanks guys, I'll be back to grab my 10% discount on parts and gear! See you soon, I'll be dragging my dad down with his Triumph so him and Aaron can hug each other and cry about their bikes.
Fantastic experience: The best place to get kitted out. Vicky & Luke were hugely helpful with us as novices, taking their time to make sure the gear we bought was what we needed and also what we liked. Generally a great atmosphere in the shop too. Can't wait to start our training with them.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic school, awesome instructors, communication and atmosphere thoughout. Super knowledgeable. Love them. I've low level anxiety and dyslexic, and they worked with me and made it a super enjoyable and accessable experience. Cannot recommend them enough!
So glad we could help! Please know that you are always very welcome to drop by if you ever need advice or assistance. We would love to see you. Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Fantastic training school and team - I can only highly recommend. This was my first riding experience yet choose to attempt DAS, and they managed to get me through CBT and pass Cat A first time. The team (Luke, Vicky, Arron, Matt and Ben) were incredibly approachable and competent, and accommodating to my rather panicked timelines, excellent training and organisation. I couldn't have done it without them and cannot thank them enough!
Thank you for the review Morgan. I know the whole team will be glad to hear of your kind words. We all wish you well in your new passion and hope for many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Did my full license (das) with Camrider Cambridge found all the team to be very friendly and helpful. Always taking time to pass on vital information to help with the training. I remember them to anyone that asks about bikes. I fine that even after passing my test the team are alway happy to see me and full of great advice as you advance through your journey on two wheels. 6/5 from me :) thank you Luke and team for all your hard work and effort helping to get me on two wheels safely. Enjoying every minute of it.
Thank you for the lovely review Kenny! Wishing you many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kindest regards Bern Adams
Negative experience: Disappointing experience. I booked onto get a licence through Camrider (Cambridge), starting with the CBT. I chose them because they are a big name (market dominant). They are quite cheap too, around £800 all in. The premises are tired, the bikes were old and temperamental (2011 plates). The instructors are respectful but not very professional - smoking roll up cigarettes while teaching/ riding, and unable to teach/ explain things other than in one specific way (everyone’s learning style is different). They squeeze tuition tightly and there are limited breaks, so it gets tiring quickly. If you don’t understand right away, they give up on you fairly quickly, after an hour or two on site to avoid holding up others. I’ve been cycling and driving for 10+ years, but Camrider put me off learning to ride and knocked my confidence a lot. Camrider is dominant in the market for CBTs so they sadly have little incentive to improve or provide a consistently decent, professional service. If you already know how to ride, just need to renew your CBT and unlikely to go beyond 125cc, Camrider is not a bad option. Or if you learn very quickly, just want the certificate and want to save the cash, Camrider is not a bad option. After some time passed, I decided to try BMW Training (Royston) BMW’s CBT is around £300, so it is more expensive than Camrider but I realised fairly quickly, it’s worth every penny. Key differences: Only ride brand new bikes - from 310cc, so more powerful than starting on the 125cc bikes. The premises were modern, clean and the instructors were friendly and professional. Tutors insisted on regular breaks, as learning any new skill takes it out of you. They tailored tuition to each learner, to make sure everyone on the course enjoyed themselves and safely passed, with confidence. It was an inspiring place to learn. If you can afford the extra £100 for the CBT, you’ll get a much safer and more enjoyable experience starting right away on brand new, more powerful bikes. You also get to ride more, as it’s double the duration of the Camrider CBT, so it’s better value overall and less strain energy wise. If you know you want a full licence, BMW’s Motorrad scheme allows you to secure a bike with a £650 deposit (the full rider training worth £1,400 plus £900 worth of riding gear is included). You pick the bike, from a range, book onto the training (sat+sun is CBT, Mon-Fri is training and test). Once you pass, you pick the equipment and collect your bike, making monthly payments from £139 for the bike for 36 months. I’m not sure why more bike manufacturers don’t run schemes like this, but it’s great value. It’s a great way to build customer trust and loyalty, so that you can enjoy riding safely and with confidence. Win win.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic people running a great operation. I passed my DAS in under a month with the help of Ben, Arran and Matt who were all incredibly patient, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Vicki and Luke, you've got a great thing going here. If you want to learn anything and everything about motorcycling, look no further.
Thank you Daniel. We really appreciate the kind feedback! I will pass your words on to all the team involved with your training, and wish you many years of safe and happy motorcycling! Kind regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Instructors were all brilliant as was the service and equipment. In 2 months they managed to take me from someone who had never touched a bike to passing both tests first time. Overall a really great experience and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to ride.
Fantastic experience: Excellent quality training! I highly recommend Camrider to anyone, whether they are looking to get into biking on a CBT, advance to an A licence or getting back to biking! I’ve completed my training at London Enfield - Lee Valley centre, where the instructors created for me a bespoke course, focused on the areas which I struggled with. The instructors have vast experience and are highly qualified to offer anyone the best training available! A big Thank you to Richard and Tim for an amazing experience and teaching me how to ride safer! Thanks to Daniel as well whom helped me choose the most suitable course to get my full A licence and for sorting out all the test bookings and admin.
Fantastic experience: 3rd time using Camrider (CBT, A2, A upgrade) so they're doing something right. The team are always super friendly, helpful and knowlegeable and if I had to do a 4th test (god forbid) I'd be straight back out to Sawston! Thanks to Vicky for putting a package together for me to upgrade my A2 without having to go back to square 1 and mess about on a 125cc. Precise information was supplied which made returning to Camrider Cambs a no-brainer. The communication I recieved throughout couldn't have been better. Special mention to Aronn who managed to iron out all my bad habits in no time. Instruction was always honest and constructive but never felt like a chore. He was really supportive throughout and gave loads of great advice, so thanks again for getting me through 1st time. Would recommend to anyone; you'll never be rushed through and always feel welcome. A trainee discount on the emporium of clothing and accessories they have on offer also really sweetens the deal. Thanks again to the whole team and have a great Christmas break!
Hi Charlie, It’s great to hear you had such a positive time training with us! I will let all involved with your training know of your praise! Wishing you many years of safe and happy motorcycling. Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Did my CBT and A2 license here two years later. Great atmosphere, instructors are clear, useful and calming in test situations. Particularly Aaron, excited to come back for A1!
Fantastic experience: Booked with these guys after seeing the great reviews. Mr chappell was my instructor for the day. He made everything clear and easy to understand. Very nice guy and pleasant to talk to. The staff and other instructors there are great to talk to. Well priced and options for loan motorcycles to use. They also have a shop inside with plenty of riding gear to choose from Would highly recommend
Thank you for the review Terry. It was a pleasure training you and we hope to see you again. Kindest regards
Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend Camrider highly enough, amazing people, friendly kind and polite. Don’t hesitate or book anywhere else these guys are the best. Big shout out to Matt who did most of my training but also want to say thank you to Luke, Vicky, Arone, Ben and all the camrider team at Sawston, I’ve enjoyed every minute of my training with them. THANK YOU Katie :)
Fantastic experience: From dropping in for a casual chat with Luke in the Shop, to a phone call from Vicky the next day. On to a CBT with Mark and MOD 1 and 2 with Arran and Matt. The whole process was simply and easy. With years of bad habits to overcome they pushed and pushed me with supportive encouragement to get to the point where I was ready to take the test. All the bikes are in great shape and easy to ride even with my short legs. Can't praise them enough. If you're unsure, just pop in for a chat and you can tour the Tardis size shop that goes on for ever while your there.
Fantastic experience: Thank you to Luke, Mat, Ben, Vicky & Aron (for his patience). I passed my mod1 first time with those Guys. & my Mod2 on my 2nd trial (my rider fault being to slow). I appreciate the support & training I received from them. Keep safe & ride on
Fantastic experience: If you're thinking of learning to ride a bike, then you HAVE TO!! book with Camrider. Just completed my Mod2 today (1st time pass!!) and I have to say the support and instruction from the team at Cambridge right from the day of booking (only sat on a bike for the first time in September) has been amazing. Some special mentions go out to Ben, Luke, Aaron & Matt who were amazing instructors, extremely supportive, thorough, friendly but also didn't take or give any bs. Of course a very special mention goes to Vicky who made the whole process of booking and explaining how everything worked extremely simple, and always greeted us with a smile and amazingly, given the amount of people that passed through in a day, remembered everyone's name. Thank you for everything guys...couldn't have done it without you
Fantastic experience: I passed my Mod1 and Mod2 first time with the Camrider Cambridge Team. The everyone was friendly, knowledgable and helpful- guiding me through everything step by step. Excellent availability of AM or PM lessons and tests. Thanks very much indeed! Nick
Fantastic experience: Couldn't rate the team at Camrider (Cambridge) highly enough! I had never ridden a motorbike before but had always been interested and contacted Camrider in August 22 after seeing great reviews online. Right from my initial call, Vicky was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and explained the DAS process clearly. Communication was great throughout and thrilled to say I passed my MOD 2 first time with no minors and received my full bike license mid September which its a real testament to the team! Particular thanks to Matt and 'Arren' ;) who put me at ease when we got onto the 'bigger bikes'. They were always able to provide the reason 'why' you do something which really helped; if ever I made a mistake they were able to correct it in a way that didn't dent my confidence which is a real skill in itself and personally really helped to me stay focused through the training. If you are even just a little curious about riding - give Camrider a call! They are a great bunch of people with an evident passion for bikes and promoting safe riding!
Fantastic experience: Never rode a motorcycle and took the course to get my full A licence. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, I had sessions with I think everyone who taught there. I was nervous about it but they gave really useful advice, things I could take onboard and improve on future rides. After what should have been the final session before the module 2 test they said I needed an additional lesson to be ready. I'm so glad they did because during that I made several silly mistakes that would have resulted in a fail but they highlighted them and I got to correct the problems beforehand. The result was I only needed a single attempt at the module 1 and 2 tests and now have my full A licence. I've recommended them already to people I know and will continue to do so. If I don't get a bike for a while I'm sure to go back there for a refresher session to ensure I'm safe. - Richard
Fantastic experience: Completed both my CBT and A2 licenses here and no negatives to speak about. All staff made you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout. Which is exactly what is needed when nerves get to you. Very happy that I went here for my course and will definitely recommend to any wannabe bikers in future. Many thanks to Camrider
Fantastic experience: A great and encouraging team. All staff were approachable and made me feel welcomed. To anyone looking for training. I would thoroughly recommend Cam Rider. The instructors are very experienced and patient, giving you the best chances of success for the test and the skills necessary to be safe on the road.
Fantastic experience: From start to finish, the team at Camrider Cambridge had every angle covered. I went from a rigid stick on a bike to a confident rider - passing my Mod 1 and Mod 2 almost faultlessly (yes, the single blemish does annoy me!). But I have a full licence now, so I can't complain! This was only possible thanks to the clear and considered structure of the training, but also the excellent work of all those involved. So, big shout out to Ahaharown, Luke, Matt, and Ben for their work with me over my time with Camrider. But also Vicky too, who was always a welcome face and quick to answer any questions or queries I had. Most importantly you'll be taught to enjoy yourself while riding at Camrider. And it's this mindset that makes the difference along side all the technical work you'll do. Once you pass your tests, you'll enjoy a 10% in-store discount for life and be encouraged to return to say hi from time to time. All in all, I can't fault my experience with Camrider Cambridge in any way. The course did exactly what it said on the tin and there was a great atmosphere throughout the process.
Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 with Camrider and could not recommend enough. Throughout my time with them they were hugely helpful in not only how to use and be safe on a bike but also great advice and guidance on what to expect and how to pass each test stage. Great group of people as well! Thanks again guys!
Fantastic experience: Just finished my das course and mod 1,2 tests with cam rider at Sawston, and what a pleasure it was to be trained by these guys. All very friendly and very knowledgeable in all aspects of riding and certainly help put your nerves at ease. They book everything around your availability be it training or tests. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to start riding. Thanks again for the support and encouragement you gave though my sessions with you guys very much appreciated
Lovely to hear from you Lee and thank you for the kind words. We all hope to see you soon on a new motorcycle! Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: Had a great experience getting my full cat A licence with Camrider Cambridge. Definitely recommend this school to get the motorcycle licence and become a safer rider and driver. The instructors gave useful instructions and tips on how to ride correct and safe throughout the training sessions. Passing the exams felt like another ride with the instructor, there was no situation where I was caught unprepared. The fleet holds identical bikes which are new and in excellent condition so that makes it easier to pass the exams. On the other benefits, the school holds a huge stock of equipment (clothes, helmets, etc.) (you`d be pleasantly surprised) and you get a 10% discount for life and 15% while training.
Fantastic experience: 10 /10 for me… From not being able to get my head round a clutch being on the handlebars and having no confidence at all to riding to motorbike meets and enjoying summer with confidence and good rider skill in 3 months. Camrider will not just give you skills and knowhow to pass your test but they will actually give you the training and skills you need to be safe out on the road. I booked the 7 session course and am very happy I did as it gives you plenty of time to iron out any issues, become more confident all of which will help reduce stress on test day. The instructors are lovely. The training is fantastic. I would highly recommend. P.S. 1st time pass of Mod 1 and 1st time pass on Mod 2 – highly recommend the 7 session for anyone (like me) who has never ridden a motorcycle.
Fantastic experience: My Camrider journey started just over a year ago, when I nervously wobbled my way through my CBT, with patient coaxing from Benn. A year later, mostly spent out of the country unable to practice my riding, I came back to do the full license, still full of nerves plus a bunch of acquired bad habits, which were patiently drilled out of me by Benn a second time. Convinced I was terrible at this, I hardly dared to dream that within 2 months I would pass my module 1 first time, my module 2 on the second attempt (with no minors!) and now hold the full license. Better yet, I feel infinitely safer and more confident on the bike, ready to take on the world! For this I owe huge thanks to Benn, Arron and Matt for their unfailing good humor and encouragement (even in the face of my terror of slip roads and inability to remember directions), and endless supply of observant tips to improve my riding. Also to Luke and Vicky for making it all run so smoothly and cheerfully. I really couldn't recommend them enough, they were all amazing.
Fantastic experience: Edit May 2024. Team was great helping me complete the full license training in just 6 sessions. They are wasting no time during the lessons. Really appreciated the advice on selecting gear and a new bike! Also the whole organisation and communication was right on point. Fully recommend Camrider! Edit June 2022. Renewed my CBT with Camrider - very happy with the training both times (2020 and 2022). Great experience from the start with Vicky taking care of my booking and accommodating a last minute reschedule. Ben (my instructor for both years) is very patient and professional, he made the whole day more enjoyable. I'll return to take my full license.
Fantastic experience: Passed my mod 2 today after a short while of training with camrider. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I kept putting off booking my first training sessions due to being a bit nervous to do it, but after my first lesson I come away really enjoying it and looking forward to the next one. I had luke for 1 lesson and Aaron for the rest, both were brilliant and couldn't fault them and how they teach you, big thanks again to them two. Would definitely recommend anyone to camrider. Now time to buy myself a motorbike!!
Fantastic experience: Thanks to all at Camrider Cambridge for getting me and my wife through our training, we have both just passed! Booking is easy, everything is all explained extremely well and all the instructors are at the top of their game! Massive thanks to Matt, his calm approach, attitude and how he teaches is absolutely incredible. This conbined with how much of a great bloke he is really works well. Can't recommend enough!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Just did my A licence (direct access) with CAMRider at Sawston. They were brilliant. They worked hard to accommodate my shift pattern, very well priced, excellent instruction. They take road safety very seriously and are keen to build up skills to make you a safe and competent rider. Literally cannot fault them. I would readily recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to ride at any level.
Fantastic experience: Had the best experience at Camrider and am actually really going to miss going there every week :) I had a massive wobble during my CBT and was very close to quitting, but thanks to Vicky and the kindness and patience of the instructors, I now have my full license! If you are thinking of getting your license I can highly recommend Camrider. All of their instructors are fantastic and I had so much fun during my lessons, along with meeting some other lovely people during my training. Took my bike out for my first solo ride today and loved it! Thank you Vicky, Luke, Arron, Ben, Mark and Matt, you are all amazing :)
Fantastic experience: I have just recently completed a seven week course with CamRider and everyone was fantastic! They’re patient, knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to do their full license/CBT. Thank you Ben, Mark, Arron, Vicky, Matt & Luke for all of your support and help throughout my course!
Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the whole team at Camrider Sawston. I had never ridden a geared bike or driven a car on UK roads before booking my CBT + DAS. I struggled initially getting to grips with UK traffic laws. All of the instructors were helpful and kind. From Mark and Ben during my CBT and most especially Arron and Matt for my DAS training. Special mention to Arron and Matt for being the coolest, most humble bikers you'll ever meet. The journey to get my full A license was a tough one but every session with Camrider felt like I was making progress slowly each time. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get on a bike.
Fantastic experience: Great experience, staff/instructors were great! busy day but a fab day. Training and knowledge of the instructors was spot on. wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. booking process was simple and was provided with all of the relevant information at the time. 100% choose Camrider for your training!!
Fantastic experience: Cant fault the Camrider Cambridge team. Went from having never ridden a geared bike to getting my full licence within 8 weeks. Vicky, Luke, Ben, Matt and Arron were superb. Just the right balance of relaxed but progressive learning. Literally felt my skill and confidence growing every session. Great selection of clothing and gear in the shop too. Thanks so much guys! - looking forward to riding this summer :) Gareth Reid
Thank you for such a positive review Gareth. I will let all the team know of your kind words! Wishing you many years of safe and happy motorcycling! Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: I can not recommend the course and everyone at Camrider Sawston enough. They helped me go from a very nervous beginner, who had never even sat on a bike before, to passing my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests first time in just under 8 weeks. I was lucky enough to experience all instructors teaching me, and they were all incredibly patient, understanding and generally just lovely people to be around! Now that I've got my first bike, I've ridden over to see them and it was so lovely to be greeted as part of the family. Such a great bunch. Thank you Luke, Vicky, Aaran, Matt and Ben!!
Fantastic experience: Started as someone with absolutely no experience with a motorcycle, I passed both my Mod 1 & 2 first time. The instructors are truly wonderful, patient and incredibly experienced people while maintaining a casual and friendly atmosphere. Positively recommend to anyone and everyone!
Thank you for the kind review David! I will make sure all the team gets to hear your praise. We hope you have many years of safe and happy motorcycling, and that we might see you on a social event with your new bike. Kindest regards Bern Adams
Fantastic experience: If you want to learn how to ride motorcycles safely then Cam Rider Cambridge is the place to go with great guidance and instruction The step by step process from beginning to the end was great and well organised. All the staff who shared my journey were amazing and Made the whole experience very informative and fun. Big thank you to all of you Vicky, Mark, Ben, Luke, Aaron, Matt.
Fantastic experience: What a professional and thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you're considering motorbike training then you won't go wrong with Camrider. At the age of 54 I decided it was time to fulfill a long held desire and learn to ride a motorbike. From the moment I contacted Vicky at Camrider I was in no doubt I had contacted the right people, she told me exactly what was expected of me and what I could expect from them. I received professional, detailed training and felt totally safe at all times. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the Camrider team for helping me get my licence, especially Ben, Arron and Matt for all my training and Luke for the encouragement. My new bike arrived this morning and I can't wait to take it out. I really had the best time, many many thanks again, Richard.
Fantastic experience: Having plenty of mororcycle riding experience in India I was confident I could do the DAS course easily. I was totally wrong , I had to unlearn all the bad habits I picked up and muscle memories for 20 years. I would confidently say that now I have learnt how to drive safely and understood how simple things like usage of front brakes at high speeds, stopping with rear brakes at slow speeds and all other driving dynamics. Thanks to camrider. I learnt it through DAS course from camrider. I did a CBT elsewhere and that place did not have DAS course. I then found out camrider. Vicky understood my expectations and put me on classes on Saturdays without impacting my work. Everyone in the team are friendly and knowledgable and they ensure you learn safe riding not just for rest but as a life skill. It was a fantastic experience right from CBT session till last day of passing my practical Mod 2. Highly recommend camrider for DAS course or CBT or any motorcycle training. My heartfelt thanks to Ben, Aaron, Matt, Luke and Vicky.
Fantastic experience: Second session so far with Camrider Cambridge and loving it! My 6 session Full Test course is demanding with a steep learning curve requiring that their instructors are time efficient and concise delivering a huge amount of information within each session. They are not their to make life easy but their coaching style gets results and let’s not forget what they teach you will keep you safe and may one day save your life. Riding a motorcycle on public roads is a serious business demanding 100% focus and excellent judgement. With Camrider I am receiving professional and rigorous training needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my first CBT training session (Elements A-D) with Camrider Cambridge last Saturday. Mark’s instruction was precise, clear and assured. Despite the course intensiveness I managed to stay focussed throughout, actively listened and kept progressing. Mark was tough but I expected him to be. He had a long day on his feet with unwavering focus, no mean feat! I wouldn't change a thing. Imparting safe control and awareness is vital and Mark got that across at each step. Today I took the skills Mark taught me on the 125 out onto the road with Ben for my 2hr CBT Road ride (Element E). Ben was assured and experienced, his unhurried professional manner gave me the confidence I needed to perform. I was rusty after a week off the bike; I found the U turn on public roads particularly challenging but repetition and critique from Ben helped me to lock-in and perform the manoeuvre safely. The road ride was a blast the skills that Mark had taught me the week prior came to the fore with Ben behind me to observe and critique. After the ride Ben debriefed us, offering constructive criticism then awarded my CBT whilst we watched a video on Mod 1 ready to take it onto the bigger bikes! Underlying Camrider have great ingredients, a solid recipe for student success and their instructors know precisely how to bring this together, you just need to bring a learning attitude
