Fantastic experience: I had Danny Chanda for just 2 sessions (2hours each) and I passed my practical test at Kingstanding Test Center. Though I contacted Danny late (9 days to the test) his words were reassuring. He said; Isaac, remember-don’t drive to impress the examiner, just be yourself, be calm, and remember all the techniques I’ve taught you the past two days. On the day of the test, to ensure full concentration, Danny drove me to a corner shop to ensure I had eaten and remained hydrated. I passed my test the first time with Danny's guidance! Danny is a great teacher and a psychologist; he prepares his students physically and mentally for the test. I’ll recommend Danny and his Drivers GB any day.

Fantastic experience: I had previous decade experience of driving but always struggling to demonstrate driving manuvers and apporach properly as per DVSA standard. I have tried 3-4 driving instructors but were not able to comprehend what driving instructor is trying to make me understand. I reached out to drivers GB and I come across Rashid for the first time. Fantastic experience: Instructor- Queen Satwir I PASSED!!! I’m still waiting to wake up from my dream and find out I haven’t actually done my test yet. First attempt and only 3 minors at Shirley test centre. Enquired online about an intensive course at the start of September 2024. Received a text message from Aiden on the 10th of September 2024 and managed to book in a phone call with him. He covered all of the bases and I was able to explain my availability with starting my teacher training and only being available during half term however three of those days would be unavailable due to my friend getting married. Aiden explained that that would be difficult, but they would do their best to get my test within those time frames. This was because my theory was due to expire in December 2024. Aiden advised that even though I may not hear anything from them that they are working in the background. There was something very trustworthy about this so I was happy to wait. I received a phone call on Thursday, the 24th of October advising that they had provisionally booked in a test for the 4th of November and that they understood that this was a day I would be unavailable due to being back at school but they would try to Change it if I couldn’t work around those times. I advised that I should be able to work around it as it was a morning test. They informed me that I would receive my schedule by the end of the next day. On Friday, the 25th of October I received a call from Ayden explaining that he had just sent an email over with the schedule But wanted to call me to make sure it was okay as my first lesson was due to start the following day. I was both excited and very nervous because at this point I had only had 20 hours of driving lessons and previous instructors had limited me and therefore felt as though I was spending thousands and still at the same level. I had 4 full lessons and a session before my test. Saturday, Monday Friday, Sunday and Monday (test day). Each lesson being 5 hours long with a half an hour break apart from Monday which was 3 hours. Satwir is an absolute queen! The shock on her face when I explained in lesson 1 that I’d done 20hours of left and right turns was a picture. I’ve never felt so comfortable before. Not once did she raise her voice or shout at me (which I thought was the norm). She corrected me when I went wrong by telling me how to fix it. I never felt scared or pressured but I was always comfortable. I went home and said “I’ve done more in 5 hours with her than I did in 20 hours with my last instructor”. After my second lesson I awaited for Satwir to tell me I would not be test ready but she didn’t. (That would be the deadline for saving the test slot). I went through the rest of the week in a bit of a panic because I wasn’t used to positive vibes from an instructor. When she had taught me everything I felt confused and thought “is that it” because of the pressure I had felt previously. Her explanation of the clutch helped me to understand the bite better and become more confident because I knew I wouldn’t be shouted at. Test day- I was shaking I was so scared and felt a bit sick. Satwir talked me through the day step by step and helped me feel at ease. On return from the test again I thought “is that it”! I couldn’t believe I’d been driving for the best part of an hour. Before telling me if I had passed or not, the examiner asked if I wanted my instructor present and I said yes, as the examiner said “I am pleased” I looked at Satwir and cried whilst saying “this was you”! She is honestly the nicest, calmest and fun instructor I have ever met (and I’ve had 4). I’m actually really sad that I won’t see her again as we had some really fun chats. A real credit to the company and I’ll be 100% recommending to others. Thank you Drivers GB and massive thank you to Satwir! You deserve some flowers

Fantastic experience: I have been trying on and off to do my driving for 5 years and it’s always frightened me or I found it too difficult and gave up. I decided to try again this year and I was given Shahida as my instructor. From the get go I didn’t feel uncomfortable and my fear quickly went with her strong and firm teaching but also very kind when I went wrong and didn’t make me feel embarrassed. She gave great advice and taught in a way that was easy to remember. I found it very easy to learn with Shahida, I didn’t feel bad to ask questions or when I felt I needed to go over the same things she would show me again until I was happy I had it. She was very organised and made sure she went over absolutely everything that could happen in the test to make me fully ready and confident. Fantastic experience: My driving journey hasn’t being easily 3 instructors first 1 was just a waste of my time. The 2nd one thought because he was in my age bracket he could make jokes all the time, not be professional tell me I’m not ready for my test when I know I was then try and belittle me because I am Dyslexic . My last instructor Danny Chanda was an older man understood I am Dyslexic . Helped me gave me tips to remember things I was finding hard to remember. Remained patient with me. Even though I knew at times he’d get frustrated because why can everyone else retain simple information but I struggle too.(Remembering what I have being taught one week not remembering it the next ) Having to re do my theory. Was the icing on the cake because I definitely struggled with the multiple choice part the Hazard perception was a breeze. Failing my practical 3 times because I struggled to parallel park. I wanted the pass 1st time I could do it fine during my lesson but on the day of the test my brain would get confused. But I was determined as Danny had faith in me and didn’t give up on me when many of times I thought he would have. Thankfully he didn’t because I’ve passed at long last thank you again from the bottom of my heart . Such a great instructor Id recommended him to anyone learning !

Negative experience: I would not even rate this business 1 star. I am appalled with my experience with drivers GB. On the website it CLEARLY states that the “controls lesson” is 15 pounds. I got told that for automatic it is 20 pounds more and the first lesson at 15 pounds is only for manual. How can this be the case? When an automatic car has less controls and is easier to drive? I am a student so 35 pounds is a lot of money to me, the instructor SHABIR also started to ignore my messages when I asked for lessons every couple weeks as I can not afford 35 pounds weekly on 6 pounds an hour. We had to continuously ring the businesses office to get help on this situation and my father ended up going in the store after work because nobody seemed to care. If I was you I would use another business. 4wheelz and other places are cheaper and probably better. Also when I enquired for a lesson I asked for a female instructor and got a male. In my 1hr lesson only 10 minutes was meant to be dedicated to controls, most of my hour was learning the controls and I did not even drive the car when I thought I would have been. This felt like a big waste of money, please avoid!!. Not a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I just had my driving test at kingstanding Birmingham and passed on first attempt. I guess I was blessed with the best driving instructor - Danny Chanda. Danny is so good at what he does, his calmness is infectious, he doesn't micromanage the lessons, communicates clearly and generally reassures you through the lessons commending good efforts all the way, practically sets you up for success. Fantastic experience: I wish I had met Shahida sooner! Before my lessons with her, I took a long break from driving because I didn't have the confidence to keep going. I felt really anxious behind the wheel, but she was so gentle and patient with me. She let me make small mistakes and helped me fix them. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I passed my driving test today with only one minor, and I couldn't have done it without her! :)

Fantastic experience: My instructor was K Chanda. He was very patient and helped me build my confidence from the ground up. Helped break down trickier concepts step by step so I could master them more easily. I felt a huge difference after just 2 weeks. Before him I had 2 instructors and I didn’t see any real progress until I started with K Chanda. Hugely grateful for his patience and expertise!

Fantastic experience: Driving instructor: Mal Mal took me on at the end of last year, and since then my confidence and driving ability has only ever improved. His teaching ways and passion for his job really shows through his work and it’s been a pleasure to be able to learn from someone who really wants you to do well and understand all things driving. I’ve had good lessons and also not so good (my own fault) but always walked away feeling like I’d learnt something new and kept a positive mindset thanks to him. His a credit to the company and will be recommending him to anyone new/learning to drive. Today I passed first time with only 2 minors and I really have him to thank for that. Couldn’t have done it without him!

Fantastic experience: Right from the beginning Drivers GB have been incredibly helpful and informative with finding the best option for driving for me. Staff on the phone were great at answering my many questions and ensuring I was choosing the best option for me. Prior to choosing an intensive course I had a lesson assessment with Mushtaq who had such a calming influence I immediately felt safe and ready to learn. Booking the intensive course was easy to do and the team considered my working hours when looking at booking, overall was a great experience. Mushtaq helped support me with which intensive option would be best for me (and made sure I didn't choose extra hours just because). When it came to my intensive course I could not have asked for a better instructor, I felt listened to and encouraged and practiced the parts I found difficult. I was able to pass first time and cannot thank him enough for his support. Would recommend Drivers GB without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Danny: I owe all credit to Danny for passing my test. Not only did he provide me with the knowledge to be able to pass first time, but also the confidence which I feel is a huge element in this and even on my test day, was such a good motivator! I had 3 instructors before him, where I didn’t learn much. But even after the first few lessons with Danny, I had much more insight and skill than any other driving instructor had provided me with, and he is someone who truly cares about your progress. His calm and friendly nature made the lessons enjoyable, and I could not recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I only had a few lessons before having to leave Birmingham, but my instructor, Manny, was genuinely amazing and made me feel so at ease while driving, which was something I've always been very nervous about. Driving lessons can be expensive, but I'd honestly say my lessons with Manny were worth every penny. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Instructor: Hamid Hamid is really the best instructor for students. His style of teaching is very understandable and he is very knowledgeable about what to teach. My experience with him for the few weeks I had before my test proved that he’s the motivation every student needs to make a pass on their test in first attempt. I had just 10 lessons with Hamid in preparation for my test and it was my first time driving in the UK and he gave me the confidence that I was indeed a good driver and ready for my test. I am really grateful to him for the dedication and support all through my lesson journey with him. This has led to a great achievement (passing my practical test).

Fantastic experience: Today I achieved a first time pass at Kings Heath driving test centre with Sajid Hussain as my driving instructor. I had an excellent experience with Sajid as he was very patient with me from the start of my driving journey and continuously worked hard each lesson on improving my driving ability and preparing for my driving test. He always arrived on time and was very welcoming and professional from my first lesson with him and I am very grateful to have had him as my instructor and would 100% recommend him as an instructor for new learners.
