Negative experience: Went for class 2. Encouraged to do class 1. The instructor was a horrible person. The examiner was eyeballing me all week. Was guaranteed to fail. A truly awful experience.

Fantastic experience: Did my Class 2 Course with NDC recently and cannot reccomend them enough! Very professional and knowledgeable team that was going out of their way to accomodate me, will definetely use them in the future to upgrade my license further. Mark not only looks like Rick from Pawn Stars, he knows his stuff too! Not only passed first time but I also believe that dropping their name at an interview has helped me secure my first job while the ink on my license was still wet, my only regret is that I cannot give them more stars!

Negative experience: I wouldn’t have come to say this publicly, if Lawrence and Steve had not lied on me and spoke ill about me to my employer the same way LAWRENCE & STEVE spoke very horrible things about PAUL ( THE CHIEF INSTRUCTOR) at NDC Corydon Centre. These two people are destroying other people’s reputation. For instance on Monday 4th of November 2024, I started my PCV Practical Training course at this Centre. After few minutes of my lesson in a dirty, cobwebbed bus, I asked after Paul Laurence, but to my disappointment, he answered “He does NOT know how to train, he knows nothing”. I was totally disappointed, this was because, it was Paul who taught me for like 10-20 minutes in the previous week when I was asked by my employer to resume there to begin my training and I could tell within that short period that he is good, but because I had already booked an holiday with my employer for the next week assigned for my training, I couldn’t proceed my training with Paul, but I have to stopped that day and returned there after my holidays which was then 4th of November. I have listened to Paul’s lectures and he is indeed an excellent instructor. Immediately I knew there is hate in this organisation. He went further the following day to say Paul trained two people last week and they failed, that Paul is not a good instructor. At that moment, I knew this is not a place for me. On 5th November, Laurence also stated the videos on the YouTube are doggy videos and that those videos cannot help anyone to train successfully. This indeed is horrible within the same organisation. Now Laurence has tarnished my reputation by saying ill things about me too and my employer Just sent me an email to terminate my employment unfairly due to what Laurence and Steve told my employer. Aside what these two did, I was addressed rudely by two other staffs of this NDC Corydon. I have always parked my car on a particular spot for two days, on the 3rd day, the lady at the reception came to me, spoke to me rudely to move my car away, and I answered her politely that I will move it a soon as I’m done inflating my tyre, I wouldn’t know what this lady said to the other staffs when she got inside, within 2 minutes while I was still inflating my tyre, another staff, male staff came to address me rudely to move my car away from the car space, at that point I could sense how these staffs are full of negativity towards others and I won’t be disappointed that they are saying ill things about their chief instructor. Beware of these staffs, they can do the worst to you or anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Best training centre in London. Thank you to all driver's instructors and administration team that made all the process from start to finish so much easter. They are extraordinary! A special thanks to my instructor Keith because without him, I wouldn't have managed a pass.

Positive experience: Overall not a bad company, with some exceptions. Pros: 1. Reversing and CPC was hassle-free; 2. The instructors are decent (especially Mark, he’s a brilliant instructor). Cons: 1. The examiners appointed by the DVSA that operates on this site will do their best to fail you. They failed me 2 times for stupid reasons with 3 serious faults and plenty of minors each time. I would have thought that my driving was terrible if I hadn't passed the exam the very next week with only 2 minor faults on another site. 2. After the second fail, they “recommended” me a full course for 2 grand. A bit dodgy considering that I spent 5 days training with you. In the end, if you want to do some general training - it’s a good company to go with. If you want to take your test - get somewhere else, as it is extremely difficult to pass here.

Fantastic experience: Took my C+E class 1 5 day driving course with NDC. Brilliant instructor in Andy, massive help getting rid of a fee bad habits and getting me ready for my driving test.! Makes it easy, fun and enjoyable and is clearly very good and experienced in what he does and got me ready to for my driving test and passed with flying colours with 0 minors or faults.! (Which he predicted before the test). All of the team from initial assessment to the end of the course and test are all very friendly and supportive! 100% definitely recommend taking any course with NDC, very professional and all clearly know their stuff.! Fantastic experience: Just passed my Cat C licence and I can't recommend them enough, I had Ray for this and he was fab, calm and methodical with great explanations, special mention to Chris as well, the whole experience was excellent, RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic experience: Great tuition - did the 1 week Cat C course and passed 1st time. Paul (instructor) was super helpful and patient, and the rest of the team were all very supportive and professional. Great to learn where you test as well, and to know they have spare vehicles etc in case of mechanical issues etc so that your learning isn't disrupted. They also seem to be super pragmatic about who they take on the course - with an assessment before taking your money etc - seems a very decent way to operate rather than allowing someone to start when they are unlikely to meet the standard at the end of the week. Great company and team.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly recommend NDC to anyone wanting to add HGV categories to their license. These guys know their stuff. My instructor was Andy, he was very patient, encouraging and persevered with with me, showing faith in my ability to learn even when I thought it was not going well. I must mention Paul, another instructor with a heart of perseverance. Passed after 4 days training on artic. Thank you NDC.

Fantastic experience: OMG I passed the first time can you believe this I am over the moon with NDC right from the assessment tests through to the Final tests they were amazing Especially Chris who was my leaner instructor very polite patient and very helpful thanks man. Also the whole process they guide you through it till you take you test and with a little confidence on your part you will get it on the first time. Fantastic experience: I had the privilege of having Paul as an instructor this week who taught me all I need to know to pass all 3 of my CPC Module 4 , reverse and my driving practical with a 0 fault drive! He was an amazing instructor from start to finish and I’d also like to thank Andy for the tips on keeping calm during exam condition as clearly they payed off.

Day 1 of 6 kicked off with Paul & he wasted no time in getting into the thick of it with pen in hand, blinked and we was on the vehicle and then out on the road - you will not, should not have a day where you are not advancing as a skilled driver. You will experience a warm welcome and see a happy knowledgeable team who all work well and support each other and will give you all the skills to complete your journey to successfully pass and gain your certificate(s). Tip: * Listen to your instructor - no matter what level you have or achieve whilst in training, your skills and knowledge will be tested to a higher level to only bring out the very best out of you, not to put you down or be negative, this is for you to be the best you can be and kick open the opportunities you desire and make it real - If you cannot accept instructions you will have to work on that first!!! * Watch their YouTube videos. (No autographs given ) From no experience to passing first time round in every module with 2 faults. Well deserved praise for Paul and the NDC team!!

Fantastic experience: What can I say. Came to NDC to do my training for my class 2 HGV licence. When booking with them initially. They will call you to come down and do a trial drive. Just see if it’s something you wish to pursue and also to check out your driving ability. During my 5 day training course my instructor was Mark. There were two of us students learning in the HGV at the same. At first I was a bit surprised as I thought it would be 1 on 1. However having gone through the course this was for the best. As you get incredibly tired from the mental load of driving a larger vehicle, and all the new things you now have to concentrate on. Mark our instructor was brilliant at bringing me and the other trainee along the learning process. Although I didn’t pass my driving part of the course the first time. This was purely down to me and not the teaching from Mark and instructor Ray that took us out on warm up drives. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly enough . From the way they dealt with me. As I go through this process of trying to get my class 2 license. P.S. When they coaching you up for the driving element of the test. Once they say you are test ready. Resist the temptation to change anything about your driving, and you should be okay come test day. All the best if you decide to train with them to get either your C1, C or C+E.

Always giving little tips and tricks. Brilliant facilities at the school all the staff are kind and friendly. Looking forward to booking my class 1 license in a year. Don’t bother looking anywhere else for HGV training NDC is the best company to go with.

Fantastic experience: It’s been a really great encounter, I passed my Class 2 driving test today with no minors. Lee my instructor was firm, fair and a brilliant teacher. The office team were warm & welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The examiners acted with professionalism and integrity. An all-round fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone wishing to progress their driving and embark on a new career path in the industry.

Fantastic experience: Very nice experience and training centre, all staff friendly, helpful and professional. Andy the assessment driving instructor was very friendly and polite. Mark was a great instructor showing and explain me in detail my mistakes and how to improve and avoid them. Any question I had he always answer me with great detail and when possible with a live example while on the road. Roger DVLA examiner extremely professional. Vehicles are comfortable, tidy and clean. Centre facilities are ok, they have a coffee machine but could do with a vending machine so we did not had to go out of the premises to get a quick snack or a cold drink. Overall experience and training was 5 stars and I would recommend to anyone who are interested in the courses provided by NDC. Luis Marques

Negative experience: I was going to work today and I was splashed by water in a puddle by car from this center!!!!!A large truck splashed me about 20 meters before turning into its gate to the center. I caught them in front of the gate and tried to force an apology from anyone in the car. The examiner sitting next to driver (I only found out later from e-mail correspondence with this center) told me that he was not a teacher or anything, the driver shouted at me that he didn't see any puddle on the road. They both pretended that everything was fine and that they were just driving, and now I bothering them with nonsense.However, a car from this center splashed me and now I'm sitting at work in wet shoes and dirty trousers.When I started writing to their office, someone replied that it was a category C driving test!!! This is a parody!They also wrote back to me that they didn't splash me, but that it was a different car and that I was very aggressive towards them and they had to calm me down!Insolent people! Liars! As I said: I will report them to the police for not apologizing to me! ( Of course they are liers again on their comments below this post!!!! Rude people! )

I can not express how easy this company has made it for me; from the initial booking of my theory to getting me in for training. My instructor Mark, was fantastic! Fantastic experience: Took D1 minibus course to get 101 restriction removed from licence. From joining to end of course they were superb. Online course material for CPC, Theory and Hazard perception was great and was lucky enough to have Andy who was a great trainer to elimate a few bad habits. Passed all the tests and practical first time. Can't fault these at all, throughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic company.....I started my course this week came to Croydon bit nervous and as soon as I came into the office 2 lovely ladies greated me and made me feel very welcome...then I was paired up with my instructor dave ( absolute legend) made me feel very at ease and explained everything so I understood all instructions and driving skills needed...we went on drives gaining my confidence, he also helped me with the cpc and all theory parts, kept building my confidence each drive we went on and helped me gain more skills each day especially with my independent driving...I had my last days training after my cpc and I had a shocking first drive, he had the patience to guild me through to get back to the centre...and then built my confidence back up and showed me where I went wrong and then we went out again and had a brilliant drive again keeping me going and building my confidence once again....and thanks to him I passed my test, thank you so much ndc and especially thanks to dave... i would like to give a shout out to the dvsa instructor for making me feel at ease your all fantastic... I will be back.

Really recommend him to anyone looking to do HGV training. He’s patient, thorough, and very knowledgeable within his profession. I have no complaints and nothing but praise for the company. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would! After completing my class 2 with NDC a couple years back, passing with no minors I told the team I would be back as there is nowhere else I’d rather go to complete my Class 1. Returning this year for my Class 1 it was lovely to see everyone again, the whole team was again so welcoming and encouraging. This time I had Keith as my instructor along with another female trainee, I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience and passing again with no minors was just the cherry on top. I have zero interest in gaining my bus license but if I did, I know exactly where I would be going. Thank you so much NDC!

Fantastic experience: Just passed on my first attempt with NDC for category C+E. My instructor was Lee. He was brilliant, and really threw me in the deep end with challenging routes! I had to adapt and think on the fly learning what it truly means to be a truck driver, not just pass the test. I now feel prepared for a professional driving career. I enjoyed his character building approach and great banter. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a very informative and fun filled week doing my Class 2 training at the National Driver Centre in Croydon. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I was allocated HGV trainer Paul for the 4 days of training. Paul is a fantastic mentor who taught me so much. He’s a great ambassador for the training centre. I passed my training course and got to ring the bell. To all at the training centre, keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Zafar Harris 10 November 2023      Keith and Lee, I was blessed by two Instructors and they both has been a fantastic driving teachers and I have made so much progress within two weeks. There patience and guidance when teaching me has helped me so much and they were able to bring my driving very quickly upto test standard. Negative experience: Worst experience ever! Save your money and go elsewhere! Was ready for my practical test and was planned in advance they left it till the last minute to tell me my theory had expired! Knowing I had my test the following week. Even the month before, when I had my driving assignment, the instructor was rude, knocking my confidence whilst out on the assessment drive. Luckily, I have a full-time job, and I was doing this to upgrade my license. For those looking to become a lorry driver, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I did my class 2 with Paul, very knowledgeable and patient. I did my class 1 with Graham, again, very knowledgeable and patient. Throughout my whole experience with NDC I felt that they cared. They wanted me to pass more than they wanted money. Even the staff not involved with my course were keen to help and support me. If anyone out there is thinking of training for their HGV licence, go with the best, go with NDC

Fantastic experience: I would like to express my gratitude to NDC for the opportunity they have given me to do the HGV bootcamp with them. I had my driving assessment a few months ago that was objective and conducted at the highest standard and following that I managed to secure a place on the course. Under the guidance of Lee, who was assigned to be my instructor, and doing my homework thoroughly by watching NDC's YouTube channel I started the course mid September 2023 and in 2 weeks I managed to pass all the tests flawlessly and first time! I cannot praise enough Lee's approach that allowed me to learn from my mistakes with lots of driving in different roads and traffic conditions. He managed to push me to my best potential and as a result today I passed my driving test for C+E first time and with a clean sheet.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test on 15th of September 2023 FRIDAY, Wonderful experience. Whole team at NDC is friendly makes you feel comfortable and helps you overcome nervousness that is natural. Especially my instructor “DAVE” he is natural and genuine. he prepared me in 4 days for the test for cat C. “Excellent instructor” Recommend NDC millions times. Thank you GUYS. Keep it up

Negative experience: My negative experience with NDC, things they never want to tell you. Before starting look very carefully at earnings potential for new drivers, really bad around £12 per hour, IF you can find a job, but usually two years experience necessary, so dont belive their earnings hype. If you need to re-test it will cost an extra £350 unbelievable and they won't disclose their failure rate? They use multiple instructors through the week, probably to save costs, so no continuity prior to the test and will put you through regardless if you're ready or not, so be prepared for another £350. Lots of wasted time and hanging around, when you should be learning. Driving is at best a semi skilled poorly paid career, so rethink your training and invest elsewhere in your future rather than lorry driving. Do the research first before booking.

Fantastic experience: The five days I spent training with national driving centre have been great. They are extremely friendly & informative & that’s with ALL the instructors I encountered! As for my instructor, Dave, he was spectacular. He got me to test standard & I was able to pass all three category C tests first time! Will 100% giving NDC a ring when it’s time to upgrade to C1 arctic. *Thumbs up*

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to write this for months! Can't fault NDC. Excellent communication when I booked lessons for my Class 2 licence (even fitted me in on an earlier date when they had a cancellation). Chris, my instructor was great! Much patience, very encouraging and also a great laugh. Passed my Class 2 test first time in April '23 and got my first HGV job in May '23. I plan to go back to NDC to take my Class 1 when I have enough experience. If you're thinking of becoming a HGV driver, this is the company to learn with!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test yesterday! Huge thanks to NDC and its crew! I had a really good experience from the very beginning. They provided me with the material to study the theory exams which was very useful. After 5 days of driving from 8 am till 3 pm, I felt that I’d improved a lot as a driver and was ready for the test thanks to the excellent instructor that I had. Special thanks to Ray the instructor! So I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade on their licence or a change of career.

I have been extremely fortunate to have had Keith as my instructor, he was clear, professional and most of all patient. He would never shout even when I got things incorrect. Fantastic experience: Just passed my cat C test this morning many thanks to the good folks at NDC for a really good experience from beginning to end. My instructor, Mark, was professional and relaxed which helped to calm our nerves and gave us the confidence needed to pass. Highly recommended.
