He was able to schedule my lessons around work and even though I gave them quite a short notice as my exam was in 3 weeks I felt fully confident going into my exam and passed with no faults.

Fantastic experience: words cannot begin to express how grateful i am. when i was in desperate need of a new instructor i contacted Darz and they were very responsive found me a new instructor immediately. Sheikh Jamal is the best driving instructor he came to my rescue as i had two weeks to go before my test and needed a new instructor. he was able to accommodate to my needs, was flexible to work to my schedule, was amazing at communicating - making things easy to understand and went above and beyond to help me if i was struggling with certain aspects. Fantastic experience: Great service throughout. Suits any budget. I was a fairly nervous student and my instructors from bury were very patient and helpful. 100% recommend.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible driving school. My first instructor was Humma. She was consistently late, and unprofessional. Instead of focusing on the lesson, she would play with her feet with shoes off, apply makeup, and be on her phone claiming she’s “recording progress”. This created an unsafe and unproductive learning environment. When I politely asked if we could focus more on actual learning instead of me just driving around, she responded by asking if I wanted to switch instructors, saying, “I don’t want to be told how to do my job.” So i did. I was then assigned her brother-in-law, Abdul Majid, who was equally unprofessional. He vaped during lessons, made me drive him to the petrol station for drinks and toilet breaks during lessons, and made inappropriate comments about me “looking pretty at work for guys to come look” and would lecture me for at least 25 mins at a time about things like marrriage as if he had any credibility to discuss them. (my friends have told me the owner Adnan does the same with them) Despite having 7 months of lessons with him, he repeatedly made me go recap the same things. When I expressed financial concerns about the cost of lessons i dont need—being a 21-year-old student with a part-time job at the time—he dismissed my worries by saying, “You haven’t spent that much. People spend way more.” This was particularly ignorant, as I had previously done manual lessons with a different school. He arrived late to every single lesson, including the test day. I paid him £80 for the test day, only for him to make me drive to the garage to fix an engine light, which wasn’t my fault and should have been addressed outside of my paid lesson time. My friends told me Adnan did something similar with them, making her drop groceries off to his house on her test day. After I failed my test, he blamed me for not taking more lessons and claimed that the test route we drove on wasn’t something we could have covered in 7 whole months of weekly 2-hour lessons. This was completely unreasonable, and his response was simply to say that it wasn’t possible to cover every route (like what) To top it all off, when I mentioned my concerns after the test, he acted unprofessionally again and asked to speak to my father about my "disrespect." (because you basically stole my money lol?). Someone please tell me where on earth was the disrespect? Finally refunded me the £80 and kicked me out of the driving school Good riddance pal. I know they are going to deny everything i said but God is my witness. Moral of the story, these driving schools are just after your money and want more lessons out of you so will long it out on purpose, they arent genuine and dont have your best interest at heart at all. Stay away from this unprofessional family driving school! UPDATE: As I already expected they are denying it in their reply and creating lies about me at his big age defending his wife and brother in law of course. I have attached evidence of why Humma really wanted to change instructors not because of “stuff that can’t be said on here” because that is a big lie. He was the one asking me personal questions and making inappropriate comments so I suggest you pull your school’s instructor on that. And I literally have 2 friends who have gone through a similar situation regarding inappropriate conversations within your driving school so you really cannot say anything said was a lie. These people go for pilgrimages yet don’t do their job wholeheartedly and create lies and accusations like they have in their reply. Be a little more God fearing and shouldn’t be claiming you work for “halal money” when this clearly whatever you’re doing isn’t what Islam teaches us.

Fantastic experience: My son started lessons in the pandemic and gave up because the tests were too far in advance. In Sunday he started a refresher course with Darz and passed his driving test, the first time, today. Highly recommend these guys. Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test today !! And all thanks to my instructor Rabia, who really supported me during my learning. I highly recommend Rabia, as she is an approachable instructor. She was always calm and patient with me. I always felt safe and comfortable with her on the road. She really knows how to explain things in the easiest way, even when I needed them to be repeated. She also had a well organised learning plan, which ensured my learning was progressive. During the days before my test, I was very nervous, but Rabia constantly reassured and helped me to improve on the little mistakes I was making due to the nerves. Lessons with her were easy and fun, time goes by quickly. Your age doesn't matter, if you're a beginner or with little experience, she is friendly and easy to get along with and professional at the same time. She gets the job done.

Fantastic experience: Riaz was a brilliant driving instructor, especially since as he had to put up with my driving. From the start he was patient and always made sure everything I did was to the best of my ability. When you did something wrong he made you aware of this by pulling you over on the left and giving you the constructive criticism you need to progress. He also makes you feel very welcomed in his car and can have a good laugh and a joke. The day before my test I had the worst lesson I’d had and he never doubted me when my test came the next morning but telling me the night before that he had every faith in me and to get an early night. Couldn’t recommend him more to anyone and his pass rate says it all.

Fantastic experience: I passed with Khatijah, I use to be very nervous when I think about doing my practical test. I had this bad fear, I have had lessons in the past with other driving schools though not intensive but no head away the fear was still there so I always ended it.Then, I discovered Khatijah who helped me massively to calm my nerves and anxiety, taught me with great patience and guidance. Fantastic experience: I had lessons with a different instructor before and he wasn’t as calm and friendly as Sofia was. When I first took lessons with Sofia I was nervous and scared but over time Sofia was very patient with me and the mistakes that I made. She was always understanding and made sure that i understood where i went wrong and why i made that mistake. I didn’t think I would ever be able to pass my driving test and all thanks to Sofia and the reassurance she gave me, I passed first time. I think with the way Sofia is (outgoing and friendly) that helped a lot because it made having lessons easier as I didn’t need to stress as much.

Fantastic experience: I've had lessons with different instructors before, but I never felt like I was making real progress. That all changed when I started learning with Sofia. In just four lessons, my driving completely transformed! Sofia has been incredibly patient with me, even when I was difficult or didn’t seem to follow instructions. She never gave up and always found a way to help me become a better driver. Whenever I had questions, she would explain everything thoroughly until I fully understood. If I was even slightly unsure about something, she made sure to clarify it in detail. Her approach really helped me gain confidence. Whenever I got nervous, she would calm me down by talking through my thoughts and easing my doubts. Sofia is the best instructor I’ve ever had. She's super friendly, but she also knows when to be firm to make sure my driving improves.
