Fantastic experience: Took my CBT course recently having a minimal experience - only rode tiny pit bike as a kid many years ago. Charlie’s professionalism blended with a great sense of humour made all the stress go away. The course felt like a great day out and with the top notch teaching skills, riding and bike controls simply just “clicked”. Can’t recommend enough! Thanks for coping with me on the day and hopefully see you when I’m DAS-ready!
Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend here for new riders to do their CBT. I attended once and I don't think they like teaching women. I had no experience, but I went to south staffs in Tamworth and I impressed them there, and I have my CBT now and qualified. The instructors here aren't very good for new riders, for the price you pay, you don't get shown much. And unlike Tamworth, these don't show you how to do something on their bikes, they just explain, which isn't the same. I found the instructors here to be rude at times and prefer teaching men. I know other people who have said the same about this place too. Go to Tamowrth, not this cannock one
Hi ruby, sorry you feel that way however some statments you have made are wrong, we have a large amout of women who come for CBT and DAS and our instructors enjoy teaching everyone no matter who they are also we have large amount of new riders with no riding experience. if we did not like teaching new riders or women i dont think we would have lasted nealy 30 years. As a riding school as a large amount of CBT pupils are new riders. regards are pricing we are very competitive compared to most other training schools. When it comes to training your comment about (these dont show you how to do somthing on theair bikes, they just explian) that is also just not true, when it comes to training we have always used the basics Explanation, Demonstration, Imitation, and Practice (EDIP) and this has worked for many years. Im sorry that on the day you were unsuccessful i know its disappointing but we do have to take your safety and other road users in to account, that being said im happy with abit more training you have now passed your CBT. If you do need anything in the future we are always happy to help. thank you
Negative experience: If you've never ridden a bike before, go elsewhere. They charge full amount but if you're not good enough after 3 hrs, that's it! They send you home. I think if you pay for a full day, you should get a full day of instruction. My relative has now booked elsewhere who actually taylor for everyone's individual needs and work at their pace. Making them feel confident. Much better in my opinion! ****RE your response****. Not said that the instructors are bad, not their fault if they have another 3 students. My argument is, if you pay for a full day, you should get a full day, on that day. Some of these students save hard for their CBT. Some have never been on a bike in their life and some do need that little bit of extra time.
Hi our instructors are very good at training people in all levels. considering we have ran a training school for almost 25 years I’d say we do a good job, regards not completing a full day, yes if someone is not safe enough to continue we can not spend all day with that one pupil as there are 3 others who have also paid for a cbt , at some point we need to move on. If someone is not safe to continue we will not continue with the cbt safety is top priority even if it’s not yours, if someone books a cbt for £140 and only do the half day they are welcome back for another for just £70 so regardless you always get what you pay for. Best of luck with your riding stay safe
Fantastic experience: Completed and passed my CBT , all the staff was so friendly and lovely. And have such good knowledge and make you feel at ease when nerves get better off you, I had Mikey, Dean,Charlie and doug? I was nervous for the road part and they made me feel safe and reassured me. Amazing training, and I couldn't recommend these guys anymore if I had more than 5 stars than I would give you all a 10. If you wanna do your cbt or get motorbike licence, this is the place to go!! Thanks again lads Kind regards, Natasha
Fantastic experience: The absolute best place and people for training on motorcycles/moped,they had so much patience and have helped me pass my cbt with confidence,Thank you guys so much for your support, I’m so glad I booked with them 100% worth it!!
