Fantastic experience: Wow, what a week of high level training we just had. If you are looking to improve your riding skills, this course has got to be one of the best, Kev and Barry's tuition is top notch. It is not just a week of training and a test, it is tailored, so that people and their abilities are matched at the start, weeks ahead of the training, to get the best out of everyone on the week. It is a very enjoyable week, and you never feel under pressure, but you can learn so much everyday. It's a very personal experience, and your skills are improved, and you do notice by the end. It is not just, this is how you must ride, you do learn the skill of riding safe while making progress, at what ever level YOU ride at. Possibly the best week on a bike I ever had The only downside was, it ended. Carl Stannett

Fantastic experience: Fantastic tour to the Picos mountains in Spain with Skilled biker. Great guidance and route selection. Every day was packed full of adventurous routes. Accomodation was perfect for our needs, Budget Hotel {Infantado} was as good as any rural hotel in the region, safe off road parking for the bikes, , comfortable beds, good en suite shower, rooms cleaned every day. Cooked bufet style breakfast at 8.00 and wheels rolling at 9.00 every day, with a few coffee breaks or light lunch during the day and back to base late afternoon early evening, to sample the food in the hotel or local town, the menu of the day proved the best option everywhere. The riding was advanced but not excessively challenging. The tour guides gave us good riding advice and developed our skills every day. We even had the opertunity to have one on one tutoring from very experienced coaches. I will be doing more SKILLEDBIKER tours with Kevin, Andrew and Richard. Thanks for a great time.

Fantastic experience: Very professional course, with experienced Ex police motorcyclists. They also provide a very good social side to to the test tour also so after a hard days riding you can relax and have some fun

Fantastic experience: Find your true potential by understanding road craft and the capability of your machine. Each training session is tailored to your level keeping you safe whilst building your confidence. The purpose of Kev’s instruction and time is aimed at making you safer smoother and an all round better motorcyclist. If your thinking of spending money on performance enhancing kit for your bike this is the best investment you can make.

Fantastic experience: As my first major tour I don't hink I could have chosen a better one ! Well organised by the team and thoroughly worth the money. The guys know the craic and know how to ride so thinking I'm an average rider they showed me how to become a better more confident one. Can't put it all in here but if you are looking for a trip or tour these guys are well worth a look !!

Fantastic experience: I've just done a tour to the picos de europa with skilled biker. I have to say it was the best organised trip I've ever been on everything was hassle free from booking the tour down to the routes that were used while we were there. Rich and Andy our guides were so patient with the whole group and nothing was a problem. Fantastic experience: Just returned from picos n.spain through skilled biker (kev) had a great time well looked after by rich and shack who also done some training as well if you wanted it, great accommodation in a lovely picturesque village, great roads, great scenery and great bunch of lads.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Kev at Skilled Biker for refresher training ahead of my RoSPA retest. After an initial assessment ride during which Kev identified a couple of areas to work on, I joined the Skilled Biker Tour & Test course based from the famous Buccleuch Arms in Moffat, Scotland. I found the coaching from Kev and Rich to be invaluable, with all skills training focussed on the Roadcraft manual and the principles of IPSGA which were constantly revisited to the point they became an embedded part of my riding. I find this immersive approach to learning the best way for me to develop my skills, and made a significant improvement in forward observation and planning for a smooth and systematic ride which feels so much better. I recommend Skilled Biker to anyone interested in developing their riding, the coaching is delivered in a relaxed, semi-formal style with insightful feedback from seasoned professionals.

Fantastic experience: I have recently returned form a five day Skilled Biker advanced course and tour in Scotland. We worked on the courses structured riding system (IPSGA) for four days with regular debrief sessions by fantastic instructors Kevin and Rich. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had some great evenings at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in Moffat, telling tales,eating great food and making new friends. We finished Thursday with assessments. One of the many great thing's with SkilledBiker is you can choose which Advanced Motorcycle Course you wish to pursue Kevin Mulligan is an Instructor/ Examiner for IAM,BMF,RoSPA,BIKESAFE & DVSA(ERS). My journey started with a one day BIKESAFE course two half years ago after a fifteen year absence from riding motorcycles and has continued under regular half and one day guidance sessions from SKILLEDBIKER, making me a more confident,safer,progressive and efficient rider. I would like to thank Kevin and Rich for their patience and attention to detail over the past weeks course, it has been a fantastic experience ending in a RoSPA GOLD award . Top job SKILLEDBIKER!

Fantastic experience: Skilledbiker Kev, supported by Rich, on our course were excellent. Each instructor had 3 riders in the team. You ride has a four, lead rider is #1 with instructor always #2, comms recommended has you get 1on1 advice whilst riding like this. The other riders are #3 and #4, and you rotate through the day so you get to ride in all positions. For me personally I learned so much in all positions, in 3&4 you get to see the lines to take and how to ride safe and well in a group. In position 1, you set the tone, so you see things first, process and respond accordingly. You always ride for yourself, but riding in all positions gives you the presence and experience and mindset of others and their situations. Brilliant input throughout the course, Kev and Rich have so much experience, knowledge and road craft to pass on. Really enjoyed everything about it, on and off the bike and the Buccluech Arms in Moffat is the most perfect venue, strongly recommend. Godspeed!

Fantastic experience: I was pushed to absorb a lot of information and put it into practice. Definitely not a walk in the park, but if it was, the experience wouldn't be worthwhile. Kevin and Richard delivered training and assessment in a firm friendly manner, to the highest standard, pushing me to meet the goal - be the best I can be. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I can't praise the Scotland Tour & Test trip highly enough. The standard of instruction and attention to detail both in the build up and on the road was of the highest quality and flawless. The accomodation, food and facilities at the hotel were top notch and could not be bettered. I learnt so much from the instructors and came away knowing I was a far better rider than at the beginning of the week but mindful that one can never stop learning and that you have to put into practice the lessons you've been taught. Consequently on the ride home at the end of the week I felt more confident, safer and the journey was much more interesting from a purely riding perspective. I can't wait till my next tour with SkilledBiker.

Fantastic experience: Search no more. Being an IAM Advanced rider, I volunteered for the most challenging test and was paired with Kevin, my IAM Masters mentor. Kevin, a highly experienced and enthusiastically dedicated professional, guided me through well-structured sessions within a tight schedule. Thanks to his expertise, I not only refined my riding skills but also successfully passed my Masters on the first try. I highly recommend Kevin for his top-quality mentoring.

Fantastic experience: After almost 50 years riding a motorcycle and 44 on the highways. I thought I new it all. One of my motorcycle friends suggested I contacted Kevin about some training . Nothing was to much trouble for this guy, we decided that the best option would be Blue Riband Rider Award . After riding and training all day i was awarded GOLD in August 2022 . Kevin gave loads of advice and suggested further training with IAM or RoSPA. After months of training with Kidderminster IAM I went on Kevin's Training Tour of Cornwall on return i had my test and Passed with flying colors . Next was Kevin's Tour training and incorporating a RoSPA Test all in Scotland . Where to start, Route instructions were given out on briefing each day, the days rides were absolutely fabulous with beautiful scenery and the transfer of Kevin's knowledge and experience is second to none. The Hotel was in the Middle of town with exceptional facilities for motorcycles. Garages cleaning and drying rooms etc. during the tour we were trained tested by RoSPA and DVSA standards Everyone on the tour were tested by independent testers to All Passed not down to luck but the training. I cannot recommend Kevin highly enough no matter how much we think we know Kevin will always find gems of knowledge that will add to your riding enjoyment and safety.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently got back from the Scottish Borders with Skilled Biker. I was undertaking the 3 day intense training to complete the ROSPA Advanced Motorcycle Test on the fourth day. The training started on our first day en route to Moffat. We were all immediately put at our ease with the riding, due to the excellent coaching which was delivered in a constant friendly manner. The accommodation that was included in the package was nothing short of excellent. The daily routes we took were stunning. And the company couldn’t have been better with a great group of like minded people. This all made the whole experience incredible value for money. I’ve been riding for 40 years but still learned so much on this course it was unbelievable. And I’m really proud to say that I passed the ROSPA test at the gold level. Can’t wait to go on another tour with Skilled Biker!

Honest feedback at every opportunity and nothing held back. Having only been riding for past 8 years was very inexperienced but their coaching and professional style can’t be beaten and got me to my Gold ROSPA riding award in 4 days. Fantastic experience: Posted on behalf of my husband, who attended one of the SkilledBiker courses: I recently went on the tour and test to the Scottish Borders. What an absolutely fantastic way to spend 5 days! Met with instructors Kev and Barry on day 1, they were both approachable, down to earth, and clearly full of motorcycling knowledge. We took the ‘scenic’ route to the top quality digs, the Buccleuch Arms in Moffat. On a side note, the Buccleuch Arms is highly recommended, very biker friendly oriented. They even helped me sort a puncture out on my bike the same day and get a replacement tyre. Staff, food, and facilities are top-notch. This gave us a chance to settle into riding with the rest of the group, whilst Kev and Barry were able to get an idea of where each individual’s riding was. Throughout the week, we split into smaller groups so we were able to have focused bespoke coaching, and despite at times challenging weather conditions, I grew in confidence throughout the week. Whilst taking in the stunning roads and scenery the Skilled Biker team put together. This culminated in finishing the week with a much smoother, more progressive, and systematic riding style and a RoSPA Gold qualification to show for it. SkilledBiker are a credit to advanced motorcycling; genuine, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. You get a lot of bang for your buck, worth every penny and more!

His courses have improved my riding no end and I highly recommend Skilled Biker to anyone and everyone whether you’re newly passed your test, or been riding for years. We can all improve, and being faster smoother and safer is always a good thing!

Fantastic experience: Having gained a IAM first and ROSPA gold passes a few years ago the BMF blue riband training and test is next level. Kevin was a brilliant instructor and mentor who made the whole experience amazing. 10/10. After 25 years riding there is still something to learn! Oh and an absolute bargain price for the training you receive from one of the best. Cheers Kev
