Apex Motorcycle Training

Negative experience: I want you to get more confident. This is what I've heard during my few minutes conversation with Dave. After I said I had two accidents ony pushbike. I mean this is why they call them accidents? Because you don't plan them. During that conversation I had a feeling that regardless of what I say I will not have my lessons with him. He picked up phone in his van and said he doesn't have notepad with him... But this didn't stop him from saying he's booked until end of October. AT the end of conversation he was more interested in the fact he's got beer in his fridge than actually giving me chance to see how I'm doing. Before deciding he doesn't want to train me. I have went elsewhere. Passed my cbt first time. Was told about my mistakes and where I should focus. It's month now and I'm riding my 125 every day getting more and more confident. And that's thanks to different place i went. Place where they let me go regarding of my accidents and they saw that I can do it. This place? Avoid. Him as an instructor doesn't give you confidence. He lacks of it himself. Happy he denied my training. As I have found better place to go.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my mod 2 today and now have my full A licence and it would not be possible without the guidance and support from Dave. There is not a bad word I can say about him, he has been so helpful and patient with both me and my brother to prepare us for our mod 1 and mod 2. He is a wizard when it comes to motorcycle training and I am so glad that we chose Dave to be our instructor. Both my brother and I hope to keep in touch in the future, thats if he hasnt had enough of us! Thanks Dave!

Fantastic experience: Dave is a fantastic instructor and I can highly recommend him for any things motorcycling related, from CBT to mod2 he’ll be able to give you the confidence and skills needed to start riding!

Fantastic experience: I’d recommend Apex CBT & motorbike training to everyone. A FULL days comprehensive training was received. The site for training before going out on the road is huge. The road training covers all aspects needed to give Dave the confidence to issue you with your CBT certificate. Just do what you’re told & instead of thinking you’re getting bogged down, it becomes a very pleasurable experience. Look forward to more training from Dave, for an extended full test & advanced training.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT last weekend and as a complete novice I really appreciated Dave’s training. Great training bikes, huge off road training area and Dave was very clear and direct with his training. I’ll be sure to use Apex for my full licence when I’m ready

Fantastic experience: Worked with Dave from CBT through to Mod 1 & 2. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable instructor. He was often firm and always fair. You can feel in his direct and strong teaching manner that he genuinely wants you to be the best rider you can be and keep others and yourself safe on the road. The bikes I used as well were really nice to ride and well maintained. The ice creams weren't too bad either!

Fantastic experience: I’ve ridden bikes for a long time (not in the UK) and literally just finished my CBT Dave makes the training highly educational/informative in a fun way so you know it’ll stick. Gonna get my theory done and def gonna get Apex again for my mod 1 and 2

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with Dave then decided to carry on with the full license. I had very little road experience but Daves excellent patience, knowledge and superb instruction gave me a fault free pass for my MOD1 and 2. Must be one of the best instructors out there who will take the time to make you a safe competent rider, many thanks again Dave !

Fantastic experience: Needed to blow 40+ years cobwebs out. 10/10 great guy, great training and perfect care. Def happy to recommend. Dave gave me a a personal 1-to-1 back to biking training session because I felt it necessary after 40+ years not in the saddle. I was happy to have as much time as needed to make me safe and restore my confidence. Dave had me on his training ground for 20+ minutes during which he gave me several gem tips, then we were out on the road. After an hour I was so much more comfortable thanks to Dave's professional guidance & reassurance. Dave also gave me several good tips on looking after my bike too. So, after only 1 hour, Dave had worked wonders and left me so much happier & relaxed.

Fantastic experience: Dave and Apex Motorcycle training guided me through my CBT and DAS and has provided me with the confidence and the valuable knowledge to stay safe on the road. Dave is friendly, down to earth and a great instructor. Would highly recommend him for those starting their motorcycle journey.

Fantastic experience: I never got around to reviewing Dave when i passed my test 3 years ago. I have recommend him a few people since. Hes really patient, explains things well, picks up your faults and works through them with you, he doesnt over charge. I even asked for an extra lesson to pratice in traffic and he didnt want me to spend my money. Got me through 1st time, Zero faults. Since then toured Europe, Scotland and Ireland. Worth every penny Chris
