Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Dave, great guy, an actual human unlike many instructors out there. I hadn’t ridden in years and Dave got me confident again on a bike and riding around effortlessly. Theory booked ready for my Mod 1 & Mod 2 training with him later in the coming weeks.

Fantastic experience: From cbt to passing mod 2. David is a great instructor. Everything is based around safe riding, takes time to explain everything so it is understood easily, hes to the point, you have a good laugh but know exactly what is expected and needed. Will happily reccomend to anyone. Thanks again for everything

Negative experience: Don't waste your time, they don't turn up for training, even when you've re-arranged your own work to fit around their specific time. Then they don't answer phone/emails/contact form. Stood outside for an hour and yes, they had two contact numbers if they knew they couldn't make it. Apparently this is a regular occurrence, you have been warned.

Fantastic experience: This motorbike training school is truly awesome They got me through my direct access scheme tests (das mod 1 and mod 2) in just 2 days, (spread over a couple of months waiting for test dates) and training was flawless and designed perfectly to make you pass first try. Since I was confident riding my 125 already, I was advised to book my tests and arrange a full day of training on the same day - for each part we practised only that part on that day, and focussed on eliminating any faults which would cause me to fail. Training this way was intensive but also very effective. Everything is fresh in your head and you are developing muscle memory and using it just hours later which is very effective. I would recommend D+D Saferider to anyone - and one of my friends recommended them to me originally - their reputation speaks for itself. They were the friendliest on the phone, and they were the fairest with their pricing, I felt like i was just chatting to another biker not someone who thinks they are better than me. When I called to book, they listened to me when I told them I'm a good rider from 12k miles on my 125, and simply asked me to come down 1 morning (for free) and ride their mod 1 course on my bike to show bike control, once they had seen that they were fine with minimal training and bike rental. D+D understood everyone is at different levels and gave me a simple and easy way to prove it. They were in the yard anyway for cbts, and it only took 2m, so no problem. Another company tried to charge me for this assessment and then said minimum 2 hours I paid about the same, just less than I would have with the other guy, but I was happy about it and they were clear and up front with how much it was going to cost. Thank you again man! I am so happy See you on the roads lol ✌

Negative experience: So unprofessional had my cbt booked with two other guys waited around tried ringing to them be told after waiting until half 9 that they aren’t opening and says they sent out a text and non of us received it, this is not the first time this had happened, I don’t recommend these

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, great and thorough training before you go on the main road. David makes you feel safe, confident and tutored, so when the road assessment is undertaken you are almost guaranteed to pass your test / CBT. David also makes the day interactive, fun and easy, by being himself. His wife makes the booking easy. So go ahead. Do it! See you in 2!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Initially booked CBT only to recieve a txt 45 mins before start of course advising it was cancelled.Gave them benefit of the doubt and rebooked for following week. When I arrived for my rescheduled date the place was all locked up like the place had closed down. Contacted company and recieved no responce. Really annoyed as I have had my time wasted like this twice off these. I will not use this company again and am now looking to go else where.

Negative experience: Booked cbt for 9am was travelling to go and at 8.15 got a text to say it was cancelled really unprofessional completed elsewhere the following day

Fantastic experience: Best place to learn how to ride a bike (and pass your test) in the North East. David has a colourful vocabulary and is an excellent, very patient coach. Really enjoyed my time there and passed my test first time. Brilliant, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Cbt done in August Passed theory test in August Booked in again with David on the 10/10 for training + Mod 1, walked away with a perfect test sheet Booked in for a third time with David for the 17/11 for training + Mod 2, walked away with my full bike license The proof is in the pudding. The lads a top bloke and a cracking instructor who takes pride in his work and isnt just after your money. Thanks again D&D !!
