Negative experience: This place no longer exists called up to book DAS lessons to be told by the lady answering the phone that the school has closed website needs to be removed to save time and confusion in the future

Fantastic experience: I did my cbt in July through jo and kev, they did a brilliant job preparing me for the road, even now 5 months on the things they said stick in my head and keep me safe on the busy A roads, I love my bikes too started off on a 50cc peugeot moped did 7 weeks got bored now I'm on a geared suzuki gz 125 still remembering the cbt training. Thank you both, I will be back to do my 600 in 18 months is.

Fantastic experience: The best around! Within a day they can not only put you at ease but they make you feel like part of the coggers family! Love these guys, they are funny, down to earth, professional and even Kens jokes put a smile on my face (not as much as the pass certificate at the end of the day did, but the jokes were still pretty good ) if anyone is considering doing any type of motorcycle training please go to these guys. They really are awesome!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant riding school, passed my Mod 1 & 2 first time after just 2 days training with Jo and Ken. Cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking to get on the road on 2 wheels. 5 Stars!

Both fantastic instructors would highly recommend if you are looking to pass your bike test. They both got me trained up for my MOD 1 & MOD 2 with just two days of training and passed with only two minors. LG x

Fantastic experience: Ken and Joe got me through my mod 1 and mod 2. I will admit I found the training hard at first and it took perseverance from Cloggers and I to get me to a safe standard. The level of training was excellent and I feel so much more confident out on the road. So a big thank you from me.

Fantastic experience: Thankyou so much Jo & Ken at Coggers, I went from not going on a bike since I was 15 (30 years ago) to doing my CBT 2 weeks ago and then 1 week ago doing 2 days training on the 600 followed by mod 1 and mod 2 the next day, flew through mod 1 no rider faults, and mod 2 passed with 3 rider faults which would of only been 2 if I hadn't caught the horn button when indicating out of the test center (what a Muppet). They are very down to earth people and help to keep you calm and encourage you all the way. Fantastic experience: Well what can you say about this pair of instructors? A great team who made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my weekend of training. Jo and Ken really know their stuff and you will not go wrong with them. Passed my mod 1 first time and mod 2 second time. Fantastic time and really recommend coggers!

Everything is explained patiently and there is absolutely no pressure at all, look no further! Update; Passed my MOD1 & MOD2 8th December on the same day at Wolverhampton test Centre! Honestly look no further than Coggers for all your needs! Just waiting for some more accommodating weather now so I can get out on my GSX-S750

Fantastic experience: Big thanks to Jo and Ken - absolutely amazing, so much respect for you both. I had 1 days training then off to mod 1 and mod 2. Passed mod 1 on the second attempt, should have passed first time but my big foot hit a cone. Mod 2 I smashed first time 1 minor. The guidance I received was amazing, great people great trainers.

Fantastic experience: Best Training school around! Ken got me through my CBT easily, even though i had never rode a bike before, i was nervous but he put my nerves to rest with his amazing knowledge, kind tactics and his dad jokes! He is a very funny guy and his wife is lovely and makes a good coffee (even had coffee mate which i prefer in my coffee, was impressed!) Would highly recommend this company to take care of all of your bike training needs. Even if i made a mistake i wasnt made to feel bad about it, Ken is very good at adapting to different learning needs and styles and explaines everything perfectly and with humour! Thankyou very much Coggers, if i decide to go for my Mod 1 & 2, i will 100% be booking in with you!

Fantastic experience: 5 star service, professional training with a good laugh and a banging cupa, been doing my cbt since I was 16 with Ken and Jo soon as I was 24 took my MOD1 and passed with no minors thanks to jo and her fantastic training. Took my MOD2 today and passed with 1 minor they taught me all the correct and safe ways to ride a bike and down to jo and Ken I have now passed my bike test. Would 100% recommend to anyone straight talking down to earth friendly and into bikes what more could you ask for ! Thanks jo and Ken.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic day, Ken is brilliant, really not sure why there are 1 star reviews! I had only been on a bike about an hour and Ken talked me through everything and was so friendly and nice about everything! Was willing to explain things twice when asked, was no rush at all, and was quite understanding, but at the same time he's very thorough and expects a certain standard. Lovely tea breaks in between and a nice lunch break, and the ride out in the afternoon was a breeze, could hear Ken clearly out of the radios, and he explained instructions great and was very clear! Will be a great feeling going out on my 125cc and improving my skills and confidence further, and will be back to do my tests in the near future I'm sure... Thanks Jo and Ken! :)

Positive experience: This review is perhaps 3 years too late, however, I want to share my experience with others. I booked my CBT through Coggers because of their reviews and recommendations from friends. I arrived on time at 8am and was stood waiting for half an hour before anybody turned up. The instructor at the time was friendly and very helpful and the course it begin with was intuitive and easy to follow. On-Site training and riding was completed, however when it came to Road Training, I was challenged if I had read the highway code, if I had not, I wasn't allowed on the road, understandably. I was informed by everybody I know who has took a CBT that the Highway Code should have been taught to me during the CBT course, the fact I was denied further learning because I was manipulated into thinking I should have read the code prior to booking was disgusting. The experience had left a sour taste in my mouth in regards to riding a bike. I can't fault the knowledge of the instructor, or the prestige of Coggers as a company, but telling someone to go home after disallowing them progression, because the firm didn't want to pursue a vital step for a learner is enough for me to not go back.

Fantastic experience: Ken, Jo and Hagrid did a fabulous job with me. I was a nervous newbie with a fall marring my prior experience. Ken plied his skills and had me confident and with a cbt in no time. Jo then took the reigns and and got me through all my tests to full license in equally short time. Listen, some schools spend an age smiling and holding your hand with sweeties and niceties to get you to a full license, but after a lot of lessons and cost. Ken and Jo prioritise getting you skilled, safe and through your test asap. This means you have to apply yourself and not be offended or butt-hurt when they have to give you honest appraisal and advice which you might not be expecting. If you want sugar-coated endless lessons more steeped in customer-care-political-correctness than accurate and swift guidance, go elsewhere. If you want to be trained swiftly and adeptly without unnecessary cost and can handle being schooled by a modern woman who is probably more skilled on a motorcycle than most of us will ever be, go to Coggers, listen hard, apply yourself and walk away a safe, skilled and licensed biker with no unnecessary delays or cost. Fantastic experience: I've never been on a bike before. Car and hgv licence holder I'm experienced on the road. Over 10 years. These people are amazing. They don't just teach you the basics they better you on the road. One to one training. Definitely have good banter. Going back to do my full motorbike licence. Thanks Ken, jo and hagrid

Negative experience: Beware - If you are a nervous rider or need extra tuition then this company is most definitely not for you. Very disappointed with this company. Do check at the very beginning how much you will have to pay and what you are paying for exactly. I.e how long is a full days training – in hours! If you have a ‘short day’ for whatever reason do they ‘owe’ you those hours of training? Do the fees include any training on test day? If so how long or is it just driving to the test centre. Do the fees include the test charges? Do Not let them rush you into taking your tests. If you are not ready – say so (at your peril though). What happens if you fail DAS 1 or even DAS 2 How much extra will it cost then? Do Not accept everything is included in the price because when push comes to shove – it’s not! Be prepared to be totally demoralised – If you are unhappy with the training / charges and ask questions they will drop you and lay the blame at your door for struggling to learn whilst telling you that they are wonderful and have done everything possible to help you.

Negative experience: Unable to follow simple instructions, and speak to you appallingly down the phone. Unsure how a company can run like this.

Fantastic experience: Ken and Kev taught me to ride a bike better and then more importantly how to pass the tests. They have sites in Burton as well as Cannock which is not mentioned anywhere & Jo was there to train any female riders and prove it's not a male dominated world. Enjoyed it and I am of the opinion that if Ken knew how to fly a helicopter he could train me to fly sightseeing trips over Cannock Chace before Easter. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass your bike test, coggers will help you to achieve it. Coggers helped me to complete my CBT, DAC, MOD 1 and 2 tests within the month (With Theory Tests). All staff are passionate bikers, and keen on passing their experience to help you pass your test. They work you hard, so you find the test easy. They have good biker banter and as you start your lessons, you will realise this. The light hearted biker banter, makes you feel straight at ease and makes you feel comfortable. Bear this in mind when you phone up, it's not like phoning "O2 or Curry's"... I want to thank Kev, Ken and Jo for my learning experience. I shall deffinatley be putting my name down for an advanced course, when i've got some more experience under my belt. Thanks again. ;)

Fantastic experience: I'm not going to lie I had a grate laugh with my instructor really puts your mind at ease haven't ridden a bike for a number of years your instructor isn't just an instructor they turn in to a friend also 10/10 for the team at coggers recommended five star service

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling customer facing skills. Makes you wonder how good the actual service offered would be! MOT booked for them to collect and return the bike to the house. The following week to be told that we had missed the MOT date? When queried why they had not come and collected the bike on the right date she hung up! Amazing

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Coggers, excellent instructors. I got instructed by Ken really a great guy. Had a great time learning. got my CBT on first day without any problem. The way they explain things is just brilliant totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: Ken, Jo and Kev, made my training fun and informative at the same time. I've watched them take the most inexperienced riders and within hours give the riders confidence. The humour is always there which helps you to relax, you can see that they really enjoy to teach and not just going through the motions. Highly recommended. If you want to learn to ride properly, then this is the team to talk to.

Fantastic experience: Well fantastic . I didn't know what to expect so 6am this morning I woke up and I new I couldn't ride a motorcycle but then after 8hours of hard work and concentration and listening it payed off Ken put his own words and he talks so you understand his meanings anyway he took me under his leadership and trained me up and here I am now 6pm with a pass I'm now comfortable and still I can here his voice in my mind telling me how to do things right . 5star remarks friendly , honestly, and great work . Highly recommend
