Ridewell Motorcycle Training - Milton Keynes

Fantastic experience: Brilliant! Got through all my training extremely quickly, whilst also learning valuable skills from a knowledgable, experienced instructor. The whole process was efficient, relaxed, and fun, whilst also being cost effective. They’re not out to empty your wallet at all, and genuinely want to see you on the road! Fantastic experience: Going into basic training I was thinking of it as an expensive hoop we all need to jump through. After completing the basic training I can see that it is in fact amazing value for money and essential for staying alive on the road. The trainer is the cus demato of motorcycles . Will push you as far as you can go towards becoming a competed and safe motorcycle rider. Awesome quality train I g and probably the most fun you can have fully clothed

Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing day with Mark and Marcus, they were both so in depth about absolutely everything and more. One on one training and talking you through every step, made me feel extremely safe and looked after, all while being very patient if I made mistakes and went over it until I did it right. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else to go too than these two❤️

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Ridewell through friends for CBT training for my 16 year old son. Mark and the team went above and beyond making it a enjoyable day for my son. The team also did some road focused training above the level of what most other training centers would do, which makes me feel better about my son's safety on the road. Will be back to continue the motorbike license process when my son is over 17

Negative experience: I recently did my CBT with this place and oh my I just wanted to cry after, I did it with another gentleman and he was ripped to shreds just because he was struggling and taking to much time to learn the clutch, I got extremely nervous and scared to be honest I wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle not screamed at and made to feel worthless just because I struggled. Mark was EXTREMELY impatient and RUDE to every one, if you want someone to make sure you have a good and worthwhile session definitely go somewhere else !!! The whole place felt off when I started. Not only that but the bikes alone weren’t really up to standard, most were old “things” that were falling apart I really didn’t feel safe on that thing they call a bike.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful and disgusted with this place I had a conversation with mark about getting a A2 license and I got nothing but snarky remarks and rudeness. I enquired about availability, cost, and and any other information that I would need to complete my test only response I got was “not sure man” to which then I asked if he would be able to let me know about said information. mark replied with by making rude comments We have had a phone conversation in the past and it went something along the lines of “your stupid and wasting my time” Absolutely do not recommend My partner did her cbt with mark and came home nearly in tears as she told me that they were shouting at her as she didn’t know how to ride a motorcycle and was struggling with the clutch. Honestly that the whole point of you trainers, Your meant help people getting into biking not belittle them and send them home crying!! She passed none the less.

Fantastic experience: Mark is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond, teaches you more than you need to know to easily pass your test and become a much more competent rider and most importantly safer rider. He will work you hard but all worth it in the end. I did my mod 1 and mod 2 with him and I feel confident to ride my 650cc bike in heavy traffic, windy country and wet roads.

Fantastic experience: 3 Of us , one first timer, one experienced, one in the middle. All successfully through CBT to full license in 3 months. Each doing different days and amounts of tuition as required. Mark could have taken more money by asking us to do more training, but we all felt he was focused on us passing swiftly and safely rather than filling up his calendar. Session and test slot booking was very flexible. Mark’s tuition was pragmatic and effective.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend these Guys enough. You will learn loads on a course with Ridewell MC Training, which will make your Motorcycle journey much safer. There are no shortcuts and safety is paramount. Take a course and make your ride better & safer. Did my CBT with Ridewell and had a cracking day. Mark & his team take their time in a friendly, coordinated & professional manner.

Fantastic experience: I did my cbt and DAS with Mark, was a brilliant tutor. Really helpful and give you loads of advised and help to get you through, so much so I passed first time. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into biking or wanting to doing there test, thanks again Mark.

Negative experience: Unsatisfactory service totally absurd to say the least. Mark is unprofessional inpatient and a extremely obnoxious individual. Never use this training school if you are after a Excellent teacher with patience & understanding. He has very Poor communication skills, absolutely devastating experience. I advise that nobody does any form of training at this school what a actual disaster. I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolute loser

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Mark highly enough. Great experience throughout the whole training. Started with CBT, followed by mod 1 & 2. As I didn't have enough experience beforehand, Mark made sure that I was ready with extra training. His knowledge and experience, as well as approach was spot on, explaining all in detail and giving insights how you can correct any shortcomings. Definitely the best training school in the area with very competitive prices. I am glad that I had decided to go with Ridewell!

Fantastic experience: Ridewell have prepared myself and a friend for our full motorbike test. Which we both passed all first time. We completed them within a smaller time frame than we expected. We already had previous knowledge of bikes and passed our theory's before approaching them. Mark is a very firm but fair instructor, his knowledge of exam requirements, road use and above all safety have been superb! If you choose himm to teach you, please listen and absorb everything he tells you. It's all for a purpose. As expected we had concerns about tests but his preparation and guidance made them feel like any other road ride. They were reasonably priced and didn't change us a fortune like some other companies tried too! I would highly recommend Mark and his team at Ridewell to anyone and look forward to seeing them out and about. Thanks again guys! Dan and Grant.

Negative experience: Yesterday I had my first and last session with Mark. He was impatient with me and rude. After a few unsuccessful attempts on a motorcycle in the parking area, he was raising his voice and complaining that I was taking too much time on one exercise. He didn't make me feel comfortable, relaxed and well-instructed. After numerous of his complaints, I felt unmotivated and stressed, and I burst into tears. He didn't set me up for success; he set me up for failure. (I hold an A2 licence, and I had instructors before. With my previous instructors, I always felt confident, and I learned a lot from them.) In the parking area, Mark said that this was his fault because he didn't meet me before and didn't know my capabilities and wouldn't charge me for today. When we finally got back to the garage, he said that he would charge me 200£ for now and he would give me one lesson (a 3-hour long lesson) for free on the following Monday.

Fantastic experience: Mark and his team are absolutely amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable learning to ride. After a previous negative experience with a London based instructor, I cannot emphasize enough how great the training at Ridewell is (worth commuting 2 hours for!). They have a range of bikes suitable for all sizes of riders and will take extra time to assist those who may find certain elements challenging. Thank you to all the team!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Did CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Mark. Relaxed, friendly and calm approach, but he doesn't let anything slip and makes sure you're ready for the tests (which I passed first time thanks to the training) and for riding beyond. Highly recommended.
