Fantastic experience: I did my CBT today and passed (I have never had any experience with riding a motorbike) Mark and Craig were really kind and patient with me and the two others doing their CBT that day. They were so helpful with demonstrating every step and if I ever felt nervous or not overly confident with what I was meant to do during the more complicated steps, they would be so patient and allow me to do those specific steps a few times until it clicked. They were super kind and gave a lot of positive feedback when things would go well which was encouraging and made me feel confident that even if I don’t get it right the first time I will get it in a few tries. Being out on the main roads for two hours was fun and they made me feel safe knowing that they were there every step of the journey to guide us. Overall couldn’t have had a better experience, great instructors, made me laugh, felt safe .. will be back to do my full A license with them!

Fantastic experience: Update: After taking my CBT with Phoenix, I booked my full license direct access training. I spent a day getting familiar with a larger bike in the parking lot and on the roads - they made it so straight forward and comfortable for me (and the bikes were practically brand new!) They guided me through the Module 1 and Module 2 training as well as supplied the bike and took me to the test center. Huge thanks to Mark for sharing his experience and turning motorbike training into a great experience on and off the road. I passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 on the first attempt and now I've got my full license - time to go bike shopping! Thanks, Phoenix! Original Review: I took my CBT with Phoenix this weekend and had an awesome experience. It was a small group with George as our instructor. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of making the instructions clear, as well as explaining why each part of the course was important and relevant to our safety. He was also excellent at giving the right feedback and encouraging! I learned a lot and enjoyed the experience very much. I look forward to doing the rest of my license and training with Phoenix!

Negative experience: Last year I did my DAS with this school. I had an Instructor called Sophie I believe. The training mostly consisted of road riding with an hour or 2 dedicated to MOD1 manoeuvres. I went to test weeks later, at that point I was unfamiliar with the bike. I basically feel like I was sent to fail. After doing my DAS with a new school and seeing their training methods, it almost feels like I wasted my time and money with Phoenix. I'm lucky I didn't pay for Mod2 DAS because I honestly feel I paid for inadequate training.

Fantastic experience: Had a Back to Biking (Refresher) course with George in Milton Keynes after previously passing DAS with a different school over a year ago. George was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helped build my confidence on the road, tailoring everything to me and what I needed or wanted to practice. We spent lot's of time riding through every type of road/situation which I could ever come across going forward. His insight and tips were amazing and really helped me improve even within the day. I feel like I now know what biking is all about, and learnt far more than my DAS course. He is personable, approachable and funny with a great teaching style. Highly experienced in all things bike related and is very passionate about it. I would highly recommend anyone in the Bucks area to go and learn with George in Milton Keynes, whether CBT or DAS or a refresher if you're serious about learning the skills you need to master. As well as a back to biking course they also do 'Try riding' or 'Pre CBT' lessons if you want to test them out, will definitely not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The training from Sophie and George is 5*, both have their unique training styles so I'd recommend trying a session with them both to see who's the right fit for you. If possible, I would 100% recommend learning to ride with Phoenix, but book the tests on your own if at all possible, as the mark up is a little high - still going to leave a 5* review as the school does the job of training you well. Stay safe, learn to ride, not how to pass.

I had an incredible experience and I learnt a lot with both trainers. They make it enjoyable and fun along with really good knowledge. I'm glad I decided to go with phoenix and I will be doing my advanced courses with them too. I passed my full licence 1st attempt which made me really happy with myself. George and Sophie are superb trainers.

Fantastic experience: Was an overwhelmingly positive experience at Phoenix Milton Keynes. For the majority of my time on my A2 course I was instructed by Sophie who was a great instructor. She was incredibly patient when I made mistakes and always took the time to make sure that we were as safe on the roads as possible paying close attention to when breaks were needed. I felt excellently supported the whole way through and really helped me grow as a rider. On the final day I had George who rode with us to our test and gave our final training/improvements on our way there. He also was very attentive and continued to build my confidence with great tips to smooth out my riding. Both instructors had a great sense of humor and kept moral up on long days that could be tiring and am incredibly grateful to both for their support. My final mention is for the team in the office whose names I unfortunately can not remember, when applying for the training online (website is also very easy to navigate and its ease of use was the initial reason I choose to book with Phoenix) they called me back within about 15 minutes which is incredible and were able to answer every single question I had prior to the training and were more than happy to do so. I would highly recommend this training school to anyone looking to do motorcycle training as they were spot on start to finish. I will definitely be coming back for more training down the line to further improve my skills.

Negative experience: Worst! Worst! Worst!. Horrible experience. I have around 15yrs of bike riding experience. After attending CBT in Phoneix I understood that mostly they wont pass CBT for anyone in one go. If three people are attending maybe out of which one person may likely to get passed. Make sure that passing person would be giving second or third CBT attempt in Phoneix. Everyone wrote a review about Phoneix training but no one mentioned in which attempt they passed their CBT and the amount that they spent on it. They took 170£ for CBT and just trained from 9.30am to 12.30pm and kicked us home by saying that you got failed in CBT and you need more training and rebook again. Before booking when I enquired they said training time is 8am to 3pm. The saddest part is they didnt even trained all the modules. The trainer kept on talking unwanted things for 2 to 3hrs and hardly taught practicals. Although they failed the CBT they could have taught all the modules. After once you failed they will advise you to pay them 30£ an hour and take minimum 4 to 5 classes which would costs minimum 150£ and then reapply for CBT by paying additional 110£ if they are happy. In total just for CBT alone if you calculate how much you would have paid means minimum (170£+150+110) in total just for CBT you would be spending 430£. On top of it if you need to take any package for getting driving licesence that package comes as 900£ minimum. They advertise themselves as Gold standrad. Infact the training money which they are charging is more costlier than GOLD. In my personal opinion I wont recommend Phoneix because the management is very much money centered.

Fantastic experience: I completed my mod 1 and mod 2 training with Sophie at Phoenix. The company were brilliant, very quick at responding to emails and offering support and fitting me in for training. Sophie was an amazing instructor. She was friendly and professional, she took the time to understand my concerns and answer questions and work out the best way for me to learn. She was extremely patient and supportive. I would highly recommend Phoenix and Sophie to anyone who wants to learn.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say how amazing Sophie in Milton Keynes was throughout my DAS Journey. From start to finish, Sophie was pushing me hard to get through my mod 1, which took 5 attempts but she stuck by me and gave me all the help she could give and I was lucky to get through mod 2 on the first attempt. There were times I wanted to give it up but she kept me going and I can't thank her enough. There was one thing I would recommend - this would be heated grips on the 650cc bikes. I must admit, I was very much frozen for my mod 2 which didn't help but other than that, the bikes and the staff are fantastic and can't recommend them all enough!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my experience here. I failed the first time because I had to work on some small things that make up something huge. I was disappointed in myself to fail but I passed on the second attempt and was pleased with how I was taught and what George was saying to me. I told George I was to go for a full licence so he made it his mission to teach me correctly which I am extremely thankful for! George broke everything down to me properly and used appropriate anthologies to keep me focused and where things made sense. I would recommended for anybody to train here with George.

Positive experience: 27/09/23 - Disappointing that after completing my CBT & big bike experience with Phoenix motorcycle training, their Milton Keynes franchise cannot book or offer me anymore training for the foreseeable due to their instructors annual leave and or availability of mod 1 & mod 2 tests. Fortunately for me, I’ve managed to find another more local training school that are able to train and prepare me for these tests and have provisionally booked me in for the end of November 2023. 05/09/23 - Excellent tuition from George at Phoenix motorcycle training. Very thorough and repetitive training on private land until both parties feel confident to ride on the road. George was extremely patient and explained everything in an easy to understand way. Absolutely loved this experience, well worth the money and I learned a lot in regards to being a safe rider.

Fantastic experience: I booked a CBT and had George but unfortunately did not pass but he was very helpful and told me not to worry about it because not everyone can learn the same way then I rebooked and passed my CBT with Sophie, she is lovely and patient, highly recommend this training centre the instructors are professional and clearly explain things.

I did my training for Mod 1 & Mod 2 with Sophie who prepared me for the tests perfectly. Passing first time with minimal faults on both tests just shows how much both have taught me in such a short period of time.
