He is very thorough and can have a laugh as long as you LISTEN! He will get you on your way in no time. Been a absolute blast training with him and made the whole week very enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Passed my bike test this week with John, first time on the direct access scheme. Had an absolutely great time and learnt so much in such a small amount of time. The bikes we used were brand new and the coaching throughout was spot on.

Fantastic experience: John is absolutely amazing. I came to John after another training school failed to adapt their learning style to my ADHD need. John was fantastic throughout and patient and today I passed my mod 2. I had so many self doubts and lacked confidence but John always supported me and told me to concentrate on one element at a time and that helped massively. His road commentary was a godsend and at the end of the DAS I was exhausted but in a good way everything he taught us followed through for our mod days and got us the pass we needed. I've had a blast I'll miss our days but I'm still going g to pop in on you John! All the best sweetheart

Fantastic experience: I have used Camborne Motorcycle Training for many years now. They got me through my CBT’s, A2 (restricted) and as of today, my full A (unrestricted) tests. I would highly recommend using this motorcycle school to get your desired motorcycle licenses. The current owner John is polite and professional, looks after all the bikes and gives you the best motorcycle riding experience possible.

Fantastic experience: I did a CBT with CMT. John, the instructor, was friendly, helpful, and instructs thoroughly but with a light-hearted demeanour. Fantastic experience: I've just completed my DAS with Camborne Motorcycle training and couldn't be happier! John is by far one of the best instructors you could ask for, I had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. John took us all over Cornwall and up to Plymouth, teaching and giving pointers as we went, I got to know the bike, a Z650, really well and in all situations (wet and dry!) By the end of the training my confidence on the roads had improved massivly and all the controls and observations felt automatic. Test days came and I just remembered and followed all the teaching and advice from the week and passed Mod1 & 2 first time. I would highly recommend John at CMT to anyone, looking to do their CBT or DAS

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my direct access through Camborne Motorcycle Training. My instructor was John who is full of Knowledge and a great instructor. I passed first time on the module 1 and module 2 which was down to the training I received. I will definitely be recommending this School to others wanting to do either their CBT or Direct access.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my CBT and DAS with John. Brilliant service from start to finish. With John you do some decent miles in some beautiful places. (I would have paid extra for the lovely ride down Marazion!) John not only gets you ready for your test but also teaches you how to be a safe rider in the future. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Cant recommend CMT enough; they are professional and approachable and Mike was super flexible with my training schedule; he went out of his way to accommodate circumstances and between him and John, they inspired the confidence in me to pass my full license first time.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic day good training and everything well explained good people to use if interested in taking any part of your bike tests.

Negative experience: Disappointed! I called to book a cbt and was told a date that would have spaces. Mike told me to ring around before I confirm. I asked to book the space anyway and he said to call back the next day. I called back the next day and he had given the spaces away and couldn't help for several months. Confused that he turned me away and for no logical reason. Its complacency in the fact he has business coming from all angles but for sure if you show no interest in the beginning, I sure as heck won't be coming for my DAS

Fantastic experience: Completed my DAS training with Jon, who got me from being a nervous rider to developing my skills to such a standard that I passed both my mod 1 (1 minor) and mod 2 (0 minors) first time. Now onto learning even more, as I built experience and confidence on the great foundations I have learnt through my training.

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt today 17th Aug 24 with John and his team brilliant instructor's very patience with the students no question is a stupid question in there minds very knowledgeable instructors can have a laugh and joke with them etc I would highly recommend camborne motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic from start to finish, i had Matt and Salvi for CBT both of which were really great and really started picking me up on stuff straight away that would have to be right for my DAS even though i was on a 125 doing my cbt. Then i moved onto DAS training with Mike, hes very calm, very reassuring, and patient, we rode to plymouth for mod 1 training and Mike stood in the rain for 2 hours whilst me and Brandon done our mod 1 training and not once did i feel like he wanted me to hurry up so we could go. No pressure at all. But i passed my mod 1 with 2 faults and my mod 2 with 7 faults, a bit high but like Mike said, id passed. So yeah a huge thanks to Mike and the guys and i would reccommend CMT to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Great experience, a relaxed instructor who puts students at ease building confidence. i learned alot each day and was tired at the end of each day, breaking up training days was perfect as for me as the riding stature initally hurt my back. All types of riding, costal, town and carriageway, everything at a slow pace and no pressure.

Fantastic experience: I have done two CBTs with these guys and just recently my A2 with John. Absolutely outstanding training providers that make the training days enjoyable and a good balance of learning and enjoying the ride. John was one of the best trainers I've had and made it clear when you "F*cked up" but gave the absolute best praise when you didn't and were very patient for the first two days as you get used to it! You can tell these guys geniunely care about getting you through the tests and I would highly recommend them! Fair price and very good bikes to learn on too!

He is very patient and sticks with you through every step of the DAS training and makes you feel at ease. From the CBT right through to the MOD 1 and 2 Test. Fantastic experience: I recently did my DAS with Mike and couldn't recommend him enough. he's patient and extremely helpful in pointing you in the right direction to improve your riding. so if you're looking for experienced and all round good teacher then pick Camborne motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could rate higher. Mike is amazing and his training is very reactive to whom hes teaching. The way he trained me was different to the person whom I was on the course with and I went straight through my MOD 1 & MOD 2 with no hitches at all. If youre looking for top quality training paired with a genuine, experienced and lovely group of guys then CMT is the best option. Amazing.

Fantastic experience: Mike and his team were awesome from the point where I booked my CBT all the way through to the end of my Das course. The training is delivered in such a way that it gives you all the tools you need to pass both modules. All I can say is outstanding, really appreciate the training, and I passed first time. Don't hesitate to book in if you are in need of bike training, these guys are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Today i passed my full bike test after an awesome few days with mike training. I did both my cbt and direct access (DAS) with cmt and i would recommend them to anyone! Good, modern and well maintained bikes. Perfect instruction that suits anyone's abilities. And an all around good experience! Thanks again mike for getting me through and i won't forget. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! Instructors are patient and highly knowledgeable with a nice calm learning environment and an overall enjoyable experience. The training area is of ample size and the bikes are well maintained. I don't usually like giving out 5 stars as there is usually something which I feel could be improved upon. It's nice to see an exception!
