At TJ’s we spend as much time investing in the pupil as is required. We recognise that everyone develops the skills needed to be a safe and confident driver at different rates. Basically, no stone is left unturned. We taylor to the needs of the individual. Patience is the key to success and at TJ’s Driving Academy we give pupils more time and room to flourish. Encouragement, empathy and enthusiasm are my 3 ‘E’ to accomplishment. Constructive criticism is part of the job as is letting the pupil know when they have done something well and not just ‘glossing over’ the issue.
Terms: All pre-paid discounted lessons are non-refundable and are kept in credit for up to 6 months. TJ’s reserve the right to change or postpone lessons for a later date.

Fantastic experience: Tony is a very patient and brilliant instructor. He really helped me to gain confidence in the car and to trust myself while driving. Not being familiar with the routes as I had only just moved down here he taught me right from the beginning and helped me to understand every road. I passed first time with only one minor!!

Fantastic experience: It was thanks to Tony’s patience and attention to detail that I passed my driving test today. Coming from another country, I had to re-learn how to drive, which was not an easy task! Tony is also calm and very clear in his instructions, I would recommend him without any hesitation. 5/5

Fantastic experience: Sometimes learning to drive can be far more complicated than you'd expect! Tony has a great understanding of psychology and temperament and can teach you in a way which personally suits you. This was exactly what I needed as before I had him I was all over the place out of control. Passed my test today with no minors and no faults! Unbelievable! Thanks again Tony!

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely driving instructor! So easy to get along with and is so professional! Perfects everything down to every detail! I would more than recommend Tony! he helped me pass first time and is such a wonderful calm and patient instructor! I'm sad our lessons have come to an end but more than happy with a first time pass!! Thank you so so much Tony! All the best! x
