Fantastic experience: Very friendly and very helpful

Negative experience: Most instructors very friendly. Main instructor, 'Bud', quite rude and not at all helpful or supportive; he would benefit in learning the meaning of 'Emotional Intelligence', this way he might gain some.

Fantastic experience: Needed my CBT certificate renewal . Quick refresh on basics plus £130 and job done for another 2 years .

Fantastic experience: Brilliant lads doing the training here. If 6ou live anywhere near defo go and do your CBT with these lads.A+ in my book.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by a friend as I was looking to take my CBT and then full licence. You sometimes take recommendations with a pinch of salt, however my mate wasn’t wrong about Bud’s. From the first phone call to the final test (and beyond as I now pop in for a brew) they were outstanding as a business. You are made to feel relaxed from the start and the instructors spend loads of time asking all the right questions to ascertain your knowledge and experience before progressing. With a great mix of classroom and practical lessons, you’re taught all you need to know to get you through successfully. Karen has the facilities to help you practice for your theory test and it’s free.....nothing.....no cost at all. You can go in and have a few practice sessions on the computer before taking your theory tests. I highly recommend you take the opportunity. Make sure you listen to everything Karen, Ian, Tant and Craig tell you as it helps massively. They are there to help you and impart their years of experience. One of the best things about this whole set up are the people. Clearly they know their stuff and take your tutoring seriously, however they also make sure you’re relaxed and all have a great sense of humour. Ask Ian all about a Armageddon!!!!

Fantastic experience: Nice ordinary down to earth people made to feel welcome patient instructors these guys ain't out to rob anyone you can see they're just happy to see people riding. Did cbt over Christmas hadn't been on a bike in 20 years and passed full test early March after 1 lesson most Sundays this took a 10hr course. Would happily recommend.

Fantastic experience: Best around I would say I hadn't been on a bike for 7 years because of a bike accident and I went along had a chat with these friendly people who sorted me out my CBT date on the day I was nurves but the instructors where amazing talking me thru everything if I needed to stop it wasn't a problem nothing is to much for these people make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door big thumbs up and thank you buds again for getting me back on my wheels 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT at buds made me feel relaxed straight away very experienced and friendly instructors,will be booking to do my full bike test with buds in the near future. Have been back passed my test like I said I would with buds. I have nothing but praise for every body at buds fantastic people and training is exceptional can not thank them enough .

Negative experience: Horrendous

Fantastic experience: The team are very welcoming and friendly with a great atmosphere to learn in. They helped me pass my Mod 1 and I passed my mod 2 last week so I would highly recommend them if you want to learn to ride. The instructors are great guys and will provide you with all the knowledge you need to enable you to ride and pass your test, you just have to listen. Big shout out to Craig who was my instructor, great guy and can't thank you enough for helping me pass. Big thanks once again to all the team at Buds.

Positive experience: Not easy to find if you dont know the area. Sat doesnt help. So look for kynryn and you are close by

Fantastic experience: Great place. Very good cbt.

Negative experience: Was in for my CBT having never been on a bike before, was in with an experienced rider and felt penalised for not being as quick to pick it up as he was. In the end I was told I would have to leave a geared bike and use a moped so I wouldn't hold the other guy back. So I walked. Put me off doing it again. In response to your reply I could change gear but wasn't perfect. Also there was 2 guys there but only 1 instructing. I walked away as I was told I was holding the other guy back so don't deny it. I wasn't aware it would be the same qualification on a scooter. I just think you should ask for people's experience before hand and match people with similar abilities.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT on 14th September. The instructor was really nice and friendly. Made the day better for me and his advice and training was Brill. Clear instructions and helpful. We did ride all the way to Durham and I was surprised but it's the best way to learn what to do on the roads. I'm really glad we did. Would recommend this academy over any other. A++++

Fantastic experience: went to buds today to do my CBT today on a 125cc bike had Tant as my instructor really amazing guy very nice down to earth i have never had any experience riding any bikes before the instructor made me feel really clam and very welcome. all the training and info given was a very really high stranded and really well explained made me feel very safe when going out on to the roads. overall the experience was fantastic and rather fun once i got over my nerves i will definitely be coming back in a couple of months to get my full licence. I would also like so say a big thank you to my instructor Tant for helping me get though my CBT. Anyone looking to do there CBT i would highly recommend going to buds motorcycle academy .
