Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT today with instructor Matt. Matt was great from start to finish explaining everything fully and making sure I understood every section he had taught me so far. Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. I did my CBT, and then went onto direct access with these guys. They are brilliant, Sarah is lovely and has been extremely helpful throughout everything. Matt was great and really helpful and patient when it came to the CBT, Russ was top class with the Mod 1 and Mod 2 training! Couldn't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Very polite and friendly and I didn't feel rushed to learn, I Had a fantastic trainer who took his time to explain things in detail and show you how to do it in practice, this helps me out a lot as I am dyslexic, because of the right training I was given I now say I am a proud owner of a full licence and now got myself a thundercat 600cc thank you RSJ for great job, I would 100% recommend any one who want to get there licence to go to RSJ.

I've done 2 CBTs, passed my mods (they really went out their way for me too regarding my work schedule/stupid mistakes) and even bought a bike from an owner thus far and not a single aspect has disappointed me as of yet. Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT earlier in the year with RSJ&A having no prior riding experience, after passing my theory test I booked in for the direct access course to get an A licence and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for any courses they offer whether it's for a CBT or any level above that. The whole team was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout, I always felt like I was in good hands and that the training was completely customised to my needs. It really felt like I was being trained on how to be a safe and competent rider rather than just how to pass a test. I passed both module 1 and 2 the first time thanks to the top quality training I was provided with, all I can say is these guys really know their stuff! Thanks again!

Positive experience: Passed my CBT with them approximately 2 years ago, however will not be going back to get my full license 1) Location: not the easiest place to get to by public transport. Difficult to find on navigation, my taxi got lost on the way, as a result I was a few minutes late. When I called the centre to warn them I may be late, the response I got was “we can’t wait for you, if you’re late you’re late”. 2) my instructor was really impatient with me, and rude! I initially started on a manual bike, it was my first time ever riding one and I just felt my instructor was really impatient, and started to get more and more rude to me, and even shouting at one point when I made a mistake. I was already feeling nervous as it is, and in the end I had to call him out on this, and told him that him being frustrated at me really wasn’t helping. In the end I agreed to try an automatic moped just for the sake of finishing the course. If only I was allowed more space and time, I definitely could’ve passed on a regular manual bike. 3)the training bikes were good, and the course was decent. Also good that we drove around cottingham, in low traffic. 4)technically I believe they are a good learner centre (as I did pass and get my license), and have heard good reviews from my friends that qualified with them (which made me want to do my CBT with them in the first place), however I definitely wasn’t treated well on the day by my instructor, and I won’t be coming back here to get my full license

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Matt last summer and couldn’t get over how attentive and re-assuring him and the team were. They took every measure to make sure I was comfortable and confident on the bike before moving onto the next stage of the training. I would 100% recommend these guys for any motorcycle training, I’ll be booking my direct access through them in the coming months.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Matty, I struggled a little and he helped me through all my little errors professionally and quickly and had me back going in no time, would highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Did my cbt with RSJ training a while back. Never ridden a motorcycle previous to this, and was nervous about taking the course. Whilst training, I made an error, and got yelled at for it by the trainer. Massively inappropriate and unprofessional. Isn’t the training environment the place to make mistakes and learn from them? Being a former driving instructor, I never once raised my voice to a student, even when one hit a curb and damaged a tyre. Safe to say I won’t be going back for my DAS.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT today with Matthew, really patient with me as I'd never ridden before, explained everything to me as and when I needed it. Took his time with me and I was able to pass. Russ and Sarah very nice people, will definitely be going back for my refresher and mocks when necessary. Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: Fantastic training school, well looked after bikes! Russ is a great instructor, puts you at ease, doesn't talk down to you, has a welth of knowledge and makes it look easy, also does a fantastic impression of a Honda hornet hitting 32mph. Sarah is also great at getting you booked in, sorting you out with test days and answering any questions, even on a Sunday morning. Can't recommend these guys enough, passed both mod 1 and 2 first time with these guys!

Positive experience: Would of given 5 stars but as i spoken to lady on phone an it was agreed to try my grandson an a bike with gears, was so disappointed to learn they hadnt even bothered to try him, they told him he can go back an try which to me is a cop out for me to pay another £130+ so hadnt done as was asked, so sad for him as he had a brilliant day

Negative experience: Good Teachers, but very expensive for what they provide, I paid £125 for my CBT which i thought was fair enough as they have recently bought new bikes, but i later realised other companies were cheaper, the clothing had holes in it all over so i would always end up drenched after every session, which ended up with me buying my own gear instead, I clearly stated to the guys that had ridden bikes before and i have my own quad bike that is 400CC so i mostly know how to ride a bike already, once i passed my CBT they said i needed another session on the 125CC, which i didnt feel the need for as the instructor on the day said i did very well, so i argued that i didnt need another day on the 125CC, but they still insisted that i try out the 500CC before buying the instant access course. So i had to pay £100 just to ride the 500CC bike round for half a day, so they could see if i was ready, which to me seemed a waste of alot of money and my time as they already knew i could ride a bike even with a bigger engine. I paid £565 for instant access A2 License which was 2.5 days in total, the bikes I was riding on looked like they were from the 90's and had a few annoying faults, when i failed my Mod 2 test they asked for £195 for a rebook, so i did some research and the test only costs £75 so they were asking for £120 extra, so i found a cheaper company that had newer bike and passed my Mod 2 test. so in total i paid £790 just to fail at the final hurdle for them to ask for another £195, ridiculous. i would say only go if you have your own clothing and dont mind spending roughly £50 extra on everything.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal trainers, friendly and patient, taught all the basics with enough time to practice getting each step right before moving on so that you felt like you had enough practice to feel safe at each step - couldn't ask for more and will definitely be using them for my DSA next year.
