Fantastic experience: Absolutely Brilliant CBT today with Rich. Great trainer taught me a lot of stuff which i didn’t know about the importance of Safety and maintaining your bike/bikes. Very helpful nice from start to finish. I made a couple of mistakes and he wasn’t angry, only told me what i did wrong and how to rectify it. All around great day, lovely weather would 100% recommend this school for all skill levels!

I wasn’t happy with the service or approach with the other company- then after being trained by Sean, I realised the gulf In gap between the two companies. Fantastic experience: Strongly recommended - I did my CBT at Salisbury Motorcycle Training last week (taught by Rich on a very cold and wet day). I had not ridden a motorcycle for about 30 years before this and even then, never on the road. The day long course was thorough and very well taught. The off road area we trained on before riding out on the road was perfect for learning on. The 2 hour road ride took us around the beautiful rural Wiltshire countryside (Fovant area) and through Salisbury, so a good mix of rural and urban roads (both only spoiled by the weather). I will go back to SMT when I come to do my full license.

Fantastic experience: I had Sean take me through a refresher, and all I can say without any judgement to my first instructor many years ago, I wish I had done my licence with Sean at Salisbury bikers because I feel so much more confident already. I felt so at ease, and I was probably the most frustrating person the fact I have a full licence and needed so much instruction, but I never felt rushed or pressured. He was so patient with me. I enjoyed it throughly and highly recommended coming here to learn, refresh or just some extra confidence building.

Negative experience: Time waster. Booked cbt to be told weeks before test that they don't do cbts anymore. Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 with SMT, plus an hour long geared lesson the day before my CBT to see if I would be able to ride a geared bike. Sean is an excellent instructor, he listened to what I needed in order to learn best. He explained things when I didn't understand them and was very patient with me. I suffered some anxiety issues which Sean dealt with well, and I never felt like he was going to give up on me. He fitted lessons in around my work, and the training yard was large enough to get some speed up. He's a tough teacher, he certainly pushed me hard, but I knew it was because he believed in my capabilities so it built my confidence. I passed both Mod1 and Mod2 first time and that is a direct reflection of Sean's methods and skill as an instructor. I have no hesitation in recommending SMT to anyone looking to learn to ride.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for motorcycle training. Look no further. It was an absolute pleasure having the training with Sean. He was able to fit training times to my awkward schedule. The training was booked only when needed and with a focus on the areas that needed improvement. I am extremely grateful for this flexibility. The bikes were beautiful (and with heated grips!! which I dearly needed) Finally, I managed to pass both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 from the first attempts. Need I say more! Thanks Sean for everything!

Fantastic experience: After doing my CBT, module 1 and module 2 with Salisbury motorcycle training i am over the moon to pass first time. My instructor sean was amazing and very cooperative. When i felt i had issues in a particular area of riding he was very thorough and patient with me until i was perfect at what i needed to do. Sean gave clear, concise and honest instructions and feedback in order to secure a first time pass in both mod 1 and mod 2 tests. SMT offers well maintained machines with heated grips and a no fuss option to borrow safety clothing if required. Sean also offered flexible training options to suit individual needs. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend having lessons here and booking your test through them. Sean was so patient with me but he also pushes you hard, as he needs to make sure you are going be safe out there on roads for yourself and others. I did my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 test with them over the course of 18 months. I had a years break after passing my CBT to get lots of riding experience before I booked in for my Mod 1, then did my Mod 2 seven weeks later on New Years Eve which I passed. I did a six hour training day the day before which is a must although extremely exhausting physically and mentally but really prepares you for your test. I would recommend to anyone to do their training here, you wont regret it. I never imagined I would learn to ride a bike at the age of 51 but so glad I did but I have no doubt I would not have done it without the help of Sean.

Fantastic experience: Passed my mod 1 and 2 first time and comfortably after only one lesson for each thanks to Sean’s no nonsense approach to training. Sean’s a top instructor who thought me all the important skills needed for a pass and the areas I was poor in he made me improve very quickly, so I felt ready on the test days and remembered all my mistakes and how to avoid them. Fantastic experience: A professional outfit with really high standards in what they do. I completed my CBT with Richard in 2019 and Mod 1 then Mod 2 with Sean in October 2020. The bikes and equipment are all high quality and in good condition. The communication throughout is prompt and clear and the cost reasonable and realistic. I did my training in awful weather but Sean kept the sessions going and has a good balance of encouragement and pushing you to get up to a good level of bike handling and road awareness so you feel confident going into the tests. The training is well thought out to cover everything in a progressive way and there are lots of opportunities to ask questions and learn along the way. Highly recommended without reservation.

Fantastic experience: Cant recommend highly enough. They have a massive training area where you can actually get to practice riding the bike. Your not rushed and training is taken at your pace. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else
