A1 Rider Training

Fantastic experience: Al is a top guy, doesnt mess around with unnecessary lessons. He's very encouraging and gives alot of confidence to the rider. Done my lessons and tests with 2 months, he will bend over backwards to get the best times and dates.

Fantastic experience: Totally professional! Had my CBT today with Alan. Absolutely brilliant tuition. Made me feel very comfortable and I felt very safe out on the road during my 2 hour ride. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. I’ll be back for some lessons when I get my bike and may even be tempted to go for a full licence.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my rides with Al and Paul. Started with my CBT and then full license, lessons went by in no time, felt like I was being taught to ride not just pass a test. Also, Al never got frustrated when I made the obvious newbie mistakes, just took them in his stride and pointed out how to correct them. Now passed and really happy. Big thanks to the guys.

Fantastic experience: I Redid my CBT today with Paul great teacher as are all the trainers. Paul ran though a load of different scenarios with me couldn’t ask for better teachers and also had a close call with another driver luckily no accident happened but Paul was there to make sure everything was alright and we finished the test. But once again a Big thank you to Paul.

Fantastic experience: My life long dream was to own a Harley but did'nt have a full license enter A1 Rider Training and Dave who got my through my CBT at the first attempt god knows how but he did it.....then it was a step up to the 650 and Mikes turn to get me up to my mod one witch i passed at my second attempt....then came task of getting me ready for my mod two....with a greal deal of patience and fantastic tuition i passed my mod 2 on the 2nd February at my first attempt.....i would like to say a massive thankyou to Mike and all the team at A1 Rider Training what a great set of guys you all are.....if anyone is thinking of getting a bike or scooter please go to A1 rider traing i cen honestly say hand on heart tell you.you wont get anywhere as good.....thanks guys for eveything you did for me....and yes my Harley is a fantastic ride

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend these guys if you are thinking of doing CBT or any motorbike training. I had never been on a bike in my life and from my first enquiry to passing my CBT last week I was looked after every step of the way. On my first CBT day I was struggling but my instructor had the patience of a saint and by the end of the day I was happily riding around the yard. I came back for a second CBT day and passed. They guys at A1 are happy to work at your pace and will not take you out onto the road unless they believe you will be safe but they will not hold you back to make more money out of you. They genuinely care about their students and wholeheartedly want riders to be safe on the road. I was ecstatic to pass and will definitely be back for lessons once I have bought my bike. Thanks guys x

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT here with Mike. It was a really enjoyable day, and I think Mike does a great job of keeping you confident, recognising your strengths while helping you to get over any hurdles you encounter. Fantastic experience: Very good place to learn how to ride, all the instructors are super friendly and have a vast amount of knowledge. They do everything from CBT's to advanced riding courses. As long as you listen and take on board what they say you can pass easily.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT today at a1. Tony was my instructor today. Couldn't possibly say a bad word against my experience at a1, professional, friendly and and most importantly patient. Keep up the good work lads and I will see you next year for my DAS. Today I passed my mod 2 with a1. During my training for mod 1 and 2 Mike was my instructor who was fantastic with 1 final lesson with Al. These guys are great at what they do and i couldn't be happier with the service. Explained things thoroughly and never made me take any lessons that I didn't need. Also special thanks to Al for showing me how to tighten the chain on my 125.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic! Arrived in the morning having never ridden a motorcycle in my life, and I have to say I was beyond nervous, but, within a short space of time under the excellent guidance of Nev my instructor for the day, I was soon riding a bike solo, totally brilliant :) Everything was covered in great detail, and at no point was I made to feel daft or inadequate if I wanted to go over a particular manoeuvre or bit of info again, in fact I felt so at ease and had such a laugh it stopped feeling like a lesson and test! By the end of the day, and the tuition on the road section came around...a section I was sure I wouldn't get to because of nerves and inexperience at the start of the day, far from being nervous, I couldn't wait to get out there and was genuinely quite sad I had to stop when the time was up! I can't recommend Alan, Nev and the team enough, had a thoroughly brilliant day and am looking forward to advancing my skills with them and getting into a bigger bike!
