Fantastic experience: Massive thank you to Ken and Alex for their guidance and instruction over the weeks up to my test which was today. I've thoroughly enjoyed the experience which resulted in a first time pass in the pouring rain. They allowed me to do it over 2 seperate days and gave me some 1 to 1 training to help me before taking me out. By the time we were finished, I felt alot more confident and had enjoyed the ride. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here today and well, what can I say, it's been a blast! Alix and Gemma (I think that was her name.) have been absolutely top notch instructors! We all had a bit of banter here and there whilst enjoying the day. I've never even ridden a motorbike or moped before until today and I must say; me riding around Scunthorpe on a moped was a whole new yet fantastic experience for me. Seeing the sights of Scunthorpe on two wheels is an experience which I guarantee you'll love! If you're in the Scunthorpe area and looking to get started on two wheels, go with Ride Right. And the most hands on places I’ve done any type of lessons with. Ken is such a friendly guy that you can joke and learn with. Fantastic experience: Bang for buck you will not find a better set of instructors in the Scunthorpe and surrounding areas. Ken & Alix are thoroughly determined to make sure you can actually "Ride Right" rather then just take your money and run. I passed my Mod 2 today (1st March and 1st Time) and would higly recommened if you're thinking about a CBT or Full bike license then these are the people to see. Fantastic experience: You can’t get any better! If you want to get your bike licence look no further, go to Ken at ride right. Ken goes above and beyond. He teaches you to pass your tests AND more importantly to be safe and aware of others on the road. Teaches the technical side of riding too. He explains things well and gives constant constructive input but also knows when to say it. I can’t really put into words how effective he is as a teacher. He offers a thrifty bundle with lessons and tests included which I highly recommend, plenty of time to give you confidence. On top of all of that he is excellent company. After you’ve passed he organises days and nights out too which you will want to go on. This says it all, nearly every time I went for a lesson a stream of past students were coming back to visit him. Many said how they wished they were still having lessons! One said you’ll ‘miss these days with Ken’ and I do. Fantastic fella. If you’re reading this, thanks again Ken, all my best.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my full A license with Ken as my instructor .... so glad I chose Ken as he has been absolutely brilliant with me and helped me get through my tests after a previous bad experience.... He is such a genuine man and doesn't rip you off with prices, you get a lot of hours riding and his teaching is brilliant. Fantastic experience: Having last ridden over thirty years ago on a provisional license, I decided earlier this year that it was about time I did something about that dream of riding to the coast on a big V-twin… The reviews here pointed me towards Ride Right and they were absolutely spot on. Did my CBT at the end of May; passed my mod 1 in July, and just passed my mod 2 today (September 22). Thanks are due to the whole team but in particular Ken who put up with my endless questions! I will genuinely miss the lessons. (Oh and I would recommend the full test-fees-and-lessons package - you get good value and no worries about whether you can afford that extra couple of lessons that Ken is recommending!)

Fantastic experience: After putting off doing my motorbike licence for years i decided that this would be the year i would do it. After reading the reviews i decided to go with ride right, i started off with the cbt having not had much experience on motorbikes but thanks to the team at ride right i was soon at a good level and through the cbt straight onto the direct access. The direct access is great value and where as some places may teach you just enough to pass the test, ride right teaches you how to ride. Before i knew it i had done my mod 1/2 test (both first time) and had a great time in the process. A big Thank you to ken and the team!!!

Fantastic experience: Well I start my review with a complaint I am afraid. Not of ride-right but of Google and the fact that they will only allow a maximum of 5 stars to be awarded!! I passed my Mod 2 on Tuesday 19th December after a total of 4 months training on ride right direct access package. I can’t express enough here how grateful I am of the excellent training and guidance given by Ken and his team. I started my course having never ridden a greared bike before and somewhat daunted by the prospect of learning a new skill after 30 years of driving a car. After taking my CBT on a moped I progressed onto a geared 125 to find my feet. Ken’s instruction was clear and always supportive. I rapidly gained confidence and moved onto a 600cc machine. Instruction build skill and prepared me for the dreaded MOD 1 test. I must admit I struggled with slow manoeuvres having legs like a spider but a morning down at the test site set me in good stead and I passed first time. I continued to take lessons to prepare for the MOD 2. Ken worked hard to arrange lessons around my ever increasing work commitments. By the time my test came round I felt thoroughly prepared viewed it as ‘just another ride out’ needless to say I passed first time with only 1 minor fault. I would recommend ride-right to anyone looking for a quality rider training school. The name is befitting of the business as all involved are passionate about training careful, considerate and confident riders and not just training riders to pass a test. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great team and I thanks to them I pass my CBT, mod 1 and mod 2 within 6 weeks and passed first time on them all and I would advise anyone to use this great time as they have great prices to go with it aswell

Fantastic experience: I had wanted to do my bike test for some time, with limited experience from some 24 years ago I had no clue where to start or my options. I found out some information from friends and the Internet then started to look around for a training school, I read all the reviews and decided to email Ride Right. The next day I got a phone call from Alix who was very informative and gave me all the information and different options I needed. I booked in for my CBT in February starting out on a twist n go, John took this lesson and straight away made me feel at ease, very patient and explained where I went wrong and what I needed to do, I was quickly past the CBT on to 125cc which Pete took me a couple of times and again very patient and knowledgeable, I didn't feel forced to progress any faster than I was comfortable. Before I knew it and quicker than I ever expected I had progressed through to 600cc, the majority of my lessons after moving on from the 125cc were with Ken, there were a couple of days when I thought "what am I doing?" There was one day in particular that will stay with me where I could not perform a U turn if my life depended on it. Ken was so patient but after the umpteenth failed attempt I looked across at him and I'm pretty sure he was thinking "what am I doing here?" and I probably got him a few steps closer to retirement. With first class instruction and meaningful debriefs at the end of the lessons I knew exactly where I needed my focus on the next lesson, I wasn't very flexible as I could only train weekends due to my job and I was always fitted in and that included bank holiday as my test date was the week after. I really enjoyed my lessons, listen and learn what the guys tell you and you will be out on your own before you know it. I passed both modules first time with only a few minor faults and this is purely down to the skills and knowledge of Ken and his team. Thank you all very much for putting up with me and will be back to say hello and join you out on some bike nights.

After doing my CBT and module one elsewhere, and having to find somewhere to do my module two i contacted ride right, couldn't ask for any better instructors as they were all very calm patience and easy going. Fantastic experience: This is a superb Motortcycle Training School. Ken and his team are best. I am 60 years old and have not sat on a motorcycle since 1978. Did a CBT and was immediately impressed by the school. Then went for direct access. Had problems to start but Ken was patient and did not put any pressure on me. Now I am the proud owner of an A Class category on my licence passing both Mod 1 and 2 first time.

I passed all of my tests first time, and that is with sincere thanks to Ken and the team. I work full time, all lessons were scheduled to allow me to progress quickly, but outside of 9-5, they even provide lessons on Sundays. Fantastic experience: A year or so ago I decided that I would go and do my CBT training. I looked around and saw Ride Right getting rather good reviews online. After speaking to a couple of friends that had done their CBT with Ride Right I decided to take the plunge. What a professional outfit! None of this pushing you through in a few hours to get your money, Ken and team spend a whole day giving you exactly the right amount of training to get you up to speed on your moped or wee motorbike! After this was done I decided that I would go back to Ride Right and do Direct Access with a friend. From day one the whole thing was a dream. I couldnt have been more nervous and Ken helped me along every step of the way until I was ready to pass my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests (first time I may add!). So today I gained my full license! HURRAH! Fantastic experience: Just attained my Cat A licence with Ride Right and couldn't have been happier with the training. Great bunch of lads and lasses working there, very helpful, friendly and importantly - they know their stuff! Great location too, situated just on the edge of town, which is perfect for when you're first getting on the road and later for practising manouvers for your Module 1.
