Negative experience: I passed with Maj, but that doesn’t make my experience with his teaching a good one….. Personally quite surprised to see he has such good reviews regarding patience and understanding, as for at least 80% of the lessons I had with him, he seemed to show the opposite If you are someone who is neurodivergent or suffers with driving anxiety, I strongly advise against taking lessons with this instructor, as his style of teaching seems to promote the installation of fear into learners, as opposed to making them calm and composed behind the wheel. Some of these issues I ran into him are as follows: -Physically taking my hand off the gearstick if he felt I was over/under gear -Speaking to me if I was a pupil in primary school, or his own child, with phrases such as: “not having it” or “I’m hard on you” in casual sync -Poor lesson structure: Focusing too much on one specific topic of driving for almost an entire lesson, thus leading to burnout and anxiety of feeling the need to get it 100% on my behalf -Speaking poorly to potential customers/clients whilst I would be actively having lessons with him on the phone -Making remarks about taking too long to set up for a hill start or a parallel park (despite it being a lesson not a test) -Constantly talking over learners/giving too much instruction, thus leading to the learner struggling in the independence department when it comes down to knowing what to do/what not to do If your a knucklehead who can bite the bullet with this style of teaching then he might be the instructor for you but I can guarantee this style of teaching is not for everyone and I can imagine that more people will start coming out with more negative experiences if nothing changes
Negative experience: Absolutely Horrendous driving instructor. Please avoid. Rude. Unhelpful, I had to get a second driving instructor to unteach me over half what majed taught me. Utterly useless/dangerous. Thankfully, I passed after changing instructors but wasted weeks of my life with this one.
Fantastic experience: Best driving instructor I've had (had 3 over the years), Maj was excellent at explaining how and why I needed to do everything and was encouraging which really built my confidence after I failed my first test with previous instructor. I passed first time woth Maj! Maj was always clear with his instructions and made me feel really comfortable with my driving ability. I highly recommend anyone learning to drive with Maj.
Fantastic experience: Passed with Maj Rashid and could not recommend enough! Overall great driving school.
Fantastic experience: Patient, and helps you go through everything. Covers all areas needed, brilliant support too.
