Fantastic experience: What can I say...I was made to feel welcome. from the 1st to the last minute. Knowledgeable training delivered in a friendly and concise way. All elements of the training covered with efficency but also time taken with each trainee when required. A great experience all round. Fantastic experience: I had Craig & Toby overseeing my CBT. They were both very open and experienced tutors. I had absolutely no prior experience to bikes and though i was apprehensive, they were equally encouraging throughout. The course itself was very well laid out. The initial introduction set out the basics and allowed me to appreciate the workings of the bike and equipment. Toby, in this instance, was very accommodating with my questions, willing to elaborate and explain things in detail when requested. The practical exercises were also very well orchestrated. It allowed for very steady progression with the two instructors advising on performance as we went along. Personally, I felt like we had a good amount of time going through the exercises. We had enough freedom to figure things out for ourselves but equally, enough simulated exercises to challenge our performance and iron out the major faults. Following this, we had our 2 hour ride on the road. At this point, Craig was supervising me and another rider. As daunting as it was, Craig went through some warm up exercises to re-establish the mornings learnings, which helped a lot. I'll note, I found this part especially challenging. The nerves and unfamiliarity of the bike itself was apparent. But with Craig readily advising on mistakes and assisting with holding back traffic - not once did I feel unsafe (just an idiot, which is arguably the best outcome). When we were slacking, Craig really emphasised the dangers - and I appreciate the curtness. Not once did i feel like i was being judged for my incompetence. Overall a great day, with the best outcome. 10/10 Would recommend. Cheers lads.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. If you're planning on getting your motorcycle licence, go with these. They'll take you from CBT to full A licence. I completed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 with RIDE and passes both tests first time. The instructors are all very good. Differing in style but each offering somthing different. They may not be the cheapest option but you get what you pay for. Thanks again guys. Ride safe... ✌

Fantastic experience: Did a CBT here with Craig as my instructor, we started off up against it as they were an instructor down, so he had to do 2 separate road rides, but absolutely zero complaints, he was super patient with me, give me plenty of advice to rectify my (many) mistakes and he was super supportive. Would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience and the best training with some awesome instructors, professional and a proper laugh. I did my CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 with RIDE and I'm so glad I did. I'll recommend them to everyone wanting to get their bike licence.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my Direct Access with RIDE. I can’t recommend them enough. A friendly team who make you feel at ease as soon as you arrive at the door. My instructor Roy was excellent throughout. He possesses a really good teaching style and guided me through my training at the perfect pace.

Fantastic experience: I commenced my CBT training on Saturday and completed it today. I knew I was not ready to go out on the road Saturday. Craig my instructor was brilliant. He put me at ease, was patient, firm but fair in his guidance and justified criticisms when I was putting my self and others at risk. All of the team I met were knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: If you want your motorcycle licence please read this. I started my journey in Kendal where I was living. Unfortunately the only instructor there Andy is usless please read my review on his page. I was then recommended Raceways at Fleetwood there is also a review there. I then found RIDE and had a chat with Gordon. This place is different a dedicated learning facility. They can take you from cbt to full licence to advanced training. They even offer ride holidays next trip to Ireland I believe. The instructors here are calm, professional, knowledgeable and care. The range of bikes is more modern as are the intercom systems. I hope sharing my bad experiences will help you make the right decision. And when your out there riding solo on your chosen steed I hope to tip my helmat to a fellow traveler

Fantastic experience: Ride Motorcycle Training December 23rd 2023, went with them to do my CBT, the Instructors were very professional throughout the day. There were 4 of us on the course with varying abilities but we were all treated the same. The day started with information regarding Motorcycling equipment, moving on to rules and regulations. We then moved on to the training ground to complete different manoeuvres with further instruction, the afternoon was spent on a 2 hour road ride, which I am sure we all found very enjoyable and think we will have all learned new skills for the future. Positive experience: Started the day learning a manual bike as that is what i paid to learn on and when it come to going on the road they chose to put me on and automatic so I pass on that so I don't know what kind of 125 I'm able to ride a manual or automatic but the guys are very welcoming and open to question thank you guys

Fantastic experience: I acheived my CBT yesterday. With 3 other ladies ( “the spice girls” I was scarey spice ha ha ) Craig and Toby were great, made us all feel relaxed. Very professional though and supportive . Any ‘wobbly’ moments were attended to and time taken for re-composure . I went into this CBT with a apprehension from previous CBT from 20 years ago that was a big reason that I didn’t continue my motorbike progression. These fears were soon allayed and a renewd confidence to match the love for bikes was regained. I Would highly recommend. I will be back for my direct access . Fantastic experience: Couldn't have asked for a better experience to do my DAS training and tests. Gordon was easy to contact and quickly helped me with a small problem with my paperwork. Roy has been a fantastic trainer, really easy to ride with and gave me confidence in my riding allowing me to pass my tests first time! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: Writing on behalf of my wife, Nan, who renewed her CBT yesterday. She has previously done CBT's at Carlisle but they have retired so we looked around online and chose Ride from the excellent reviews. My wife is not a native English speaker but really enjoyed her day and spoke very highly of Gordon, praising his patience and thoroughness in explaining everything clearly and in a very friendly and welcoming environment. She highly recommends them and looks forward to keeping an ongoing relationship as she continues motorcycling.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have asked for a better bloke, experience and day. Did my CBT and Gordon was great, really patient which I needed and helped me work through every issue. Will be booking back in to get on to bigger bikes even though it’s a long way. If you’re thinking about getting on a bike do it with RIDE they will help you though everything and get you ready to get on the road.

Fantastic experience: Went down for my CBT having never been on a bike before. Roy was very welcoming and a great instructor. Had a lovely day on the ride afterwards. I came down from carlisle as i was struggling to find anyone to do my cbt with, booked straight in and got it done in the 1 day no problems. Have Now fully Qualified A license after doing their DAS (Direct Access) course. Brilliant as usual would recommend to anyone looking to start on a bike.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly instructor (Mike), who met my needs perfectly. Had been riding a 50cc moped on grandfather rights licence, but glad I've finally done my CBT. Head hurt a little bit after the on-road training. Roundabouts - so much to process in a short period of time, lol! Thanks, Gordon.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. Good facilities and professional setup. I felt very safe and well cared for and will definitely be returning for further training and my bike kit. Both the setup in carnforth and at Morecambe are brilliant. I especially loved the occasional intercity trains speeding by the training centre every so often. Good for train spotters ;) Not every training centre offers that! Their sister site in Morecambe offers bike sales, motorcycle repair, clothing, and is hidden gem on the edge of the industrial estate and had a fab cafe/diner which I will definitely be returning to. It was a fab pit stop when out on the road with the instuctors. What's not to like. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor! ! Roy was very patient and thorough. Gave clear instructions and made sure any advice or tips were given in an easy to understand way. The test centre wasn't my closest, but pleased I chose it. Equipment was all decent, and the bike was good quality and nice to ride Honda CB125F. Looking forward to the MOD1 and 2 training in the very near future

Fantastic experience: Carried out my CBT (Motorcycle training) at the weekend, it was a fantastic experience, loved every minute of it, the instructors were very patient, full of knowledge and made the whole day enjoyable and fun, worth doing even just to build confidence when on the road and understand safety on the road from a motorcyclist point of view! As an inexperienced rider expect to ache in places you didn't now existed, but worth it all for the fun and exhilaration of being on a bike on the open road. I was going to take my cbt on an automatic bike as I wasn’t confident with a geared bike Roy Dawson the instructor built my confidence up and by dinner time I was riding a geared bike and getting ready to get out on the open road. I haven’t ridden for 30 years however this CBT delivered such skill and confidence I was thrilled to ride on the open roads. Roy is an exceptional instructor and coupled with many years teaching it shows. I’m planning to complete my full bike license and believe Ride Motor Cycle Training will deliver that result if I follow Roys tips and skill based training. A great day thanks very much.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding in every sense. Very thorough with the verbal training but I was especially in impressed with the standards set by Roy in the physical aspects of the training. I felt Ride went above and beyond with teaching the clutch control, General motorbike control and the knowledge passed on. I would highly recommend Ride motorcycle training. I think it is also worth stating the motorcycle hire and PPE is included in the price. Overall, a superb experience.

Fantastic experience: Roy and Terry are great lads. I visited today for my CBT and they provided a brilliant service, I couldn't be happier. They were very helpful with the advice they gave. The building is lovely with a toilet on site and loads of parking, plus tea and coffee provided! I will be reccomending RIDE motorcycle training to everyone and will definitely be returning to complete my full license in the coming few years.
