Positive experience: Andy is a good teacher. It's a shame he enjoys belittling people. I learned what I needed to and passed my CBT but overall I did not enjoy the experience because I found Andy to be unpleasant. Learners make mistakes but they don't need to be made to feel stupid for this. I hope he takes on this feedback as constructive criticism and doesn't go straight into defense mode, like in other similar reviews. All the best, Will.
Hi Will - My job is to simply keep you safe and alive. Riding with your head looking down is a recipe for disaster and you didn't look or seem like you were not enjoying the training. If this was an issue then this should of been raised to my attention on the training. You have never ridden a scooter before and haven't been on a push bike for some time, you also kept looking down ALOT which did eventually get better. I made a bad decision (looking down at the floor) into something that could be changed so you didn't crash. The last person that looked at the dash or floor hit a parked car. I had lots of patience with yourself and give you lots of supportive feedback as well as criticism when necessary. John the other pupil did enjoy the training and he couldn't fault the instruction given. Thanks for the 3 star review.
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for somewhere to complete a CBT or any other licence look no further!! I had Andy as my instructor and honestly, I couldn't sing his praises more, every part of the course was broken down into clear segments, the instruction was thorough, firm but fair and if you make a mistake during training not only were examples shown to you to correct, it it was made clear as to why its important in a real word setting which I found increadiby healpful! for example I was riding on the left which i thought was "defensive driving" which when explained that not only is it not the correct road placement, it is also the exact opposite, i.e car doors openeing, childen running out into the road, ect. seems obvious now there we are. It was extreamly comprihesive and down to earth training. I will be back to complete my full licence soon!!
Glad you enjoyed the training James and thanks for a great review. We at RR always do our best to educate new riders and guide them to success! Enjoy your bike. Cheers Andy RR
Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed doing my CBT, I was lucky enough to have 2 fantastically knowledgeable instructors keeping me on track today and helping to boost my road going confidence and work on correcting my mistakes. Thankyou.
Glad you had fun Kevin. Thanks for the kind review, we always do our best to help! Enjoy your bike. RR
Fantastic experience: Traveled from Kendal to Barrow to get my CBT done with Real Riders. Met Andy who was my instructor for the day. He is a proper biker with his own personality and swag. Got my certificate and it was worth spending hours for the travel. Good wishes to their team
Fantastic experience: I passed my CBT today with Andy and had an amazing experience. Andy was very good at instructing and helping me to ride the bike better. I made some mistakes but Andy helped me to learn from them. We also met a idiotic driver on the road in which Andy handled well.
Thanks for the review, we always do our best to help customers learn. Ride safe! RR
