Fantastic experience: Was with Mark fun and know his stuff and he will keep you trying again and again untill he's confident you are capable and safe doing it for example I was struggling with the u turns but after a few attempts and plenty of encouragement I managed to do it to safe and controlled manner would recommend and will be using again in the near future cheers again Mark

Fantastic experience: Just passed my CBT today. Kyle (the instructor) was just amazing, very professional super supportive. Made us all feel very comfortable and confident as well. He supported each of the students individually and at their own pace. As a first timer on a motorbike he made me feel comfortable and confident straight away from the beginning and made sure we all understood the rules and the highway codes, the equipment as well as the motorbike. Then we all took turns on the practical session with him first showing us what we needed to do and what would be wrong and right. I definitely recommend it and will surely go back there to complete my full license. Keep up the professionalism and the great work.

Fantastic experience: Genuinely cannot thank Mark & Kyle enough for all their help on getting me on the road and passing my CBT on a geared bike because I'm stubborn can't recommend these guys more for your training & guidance. & you'll definitely have more than enough laughs with them

Negative experience: Lack of communication. Poor service

Positive experience: 3 stars might be 5 with another instructor but the one I had is a 3, racist comments, passive aggressive and “had somewhere else to be”. That out the way on road instructions were nice and mostly calm even after I got flustered from receiving my first wind buffeting from an artic in a 40 road. If you’re a young lad wanting to get your cbt done I can recommend them but beyond that I’d find some where a bit more professional.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT on 30.09.22 with Mike and I never had any experience on a motorbike. He was absolutely fantastic and could not recommend anyone better. He was so great with giving tips and how you could improve. I was a bit nervous as our of the whole 4 people, I was the only one on a motorbike so I had to think about clutch / gears. Overall, I passed it with ease and gained so much confidence thanks to Mike. Great company to definitely consider your motorbike lessons / CBT / DAS. Definitely will be coming back very soon for my DAS

Fantastic experience: Did both pre CBT and CBT with these guys (at their Royston site) and it was a great experience all round. Had different instructors for all three experiences (Paula and Simon for my pre CBTs and Alan for the CBT) but I found the approach consistent throughout. I was even contacted by Sarah when there was a cancellation and got CBT a week earlier. Keep up the good work guys. I'll be sending my husband along for his training shortly.

Fantastic experience: My CBT went really well I've never been on a motorcycle before and was a little nervous my instructor Mark Lavery of S & K motorcycle training had me riding a manual bike with confidence in a very small amount of time. The information and advice that he passed to me was extremely helpful as well as way he managed to break each part down for the young lad with us was brilliant. I would strongly recommend Mark Lavery.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT today at ride on motorcycle training, had a great instructor, explained everything that was expected for a successful out come at the end of the day. Very clear instructions given during pad work and during on the road training. Would defiantly recommend any one to take there CBT training at ride on motorcycle training.

Negative experience: My son lost his CBT certificate. We contacted the company for a replacement and was told the fee would be £50 to get this replaced when the DVSA quite clearly stated no more than £20 should be charged. I politely brought this up and was told to "ring Simon and argue this out with him later' I have no issue paying for a replacement, he shouldn't have lost the original, however we won't be hassled into paying more than guidelines state. Her reason being was that she struggled to find them ? Maybe a better filing system is required by this company. The date his cbt was completed was given to this lady numerous times. Surely all paperwork should be kept in order therefore making it easier to find? I explained there's no argument needed because it's government guidelines. In the end I got the DVSA involved and all communication was sent to DVSA. Customer service at this place is shocking along with their attitude. We won't be using them again. If you need a replacement Certificate be sure you're not told to pay more than necessary and contact DVSA because they are now monitoring the situation.

Negative experience: Left a one star rating, didn't want to but had no other choice. The most unprofessional and arrogant trainer, He had zero patience and wanted me to get things perfect first time everytime, knowing I had very little experience on a scooter and also made me very anxious when I told him I suffer with anxiety and lack of confidence his reply was “I don't care”. He also made sexist jokes about women. All in all the company is completely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with these people at all.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional and condescending trainer you could imagine, wasn’t at all interested in teaching me how to ride the bike he even wanted to put me on a scooter to avoid teaching me. He had zero patience and wanted me to show him perfect clutch control before he’d even taught me how to ride the bike and then when I told him he was stressing me out to the point of having an anxiety attack he said and I quote “I think you ought to go sit under that tree and think about what you want to do” speaking to me like I am a child instead of a fully grown man who has just paid ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY POUNDS to be taught how to ride a bike... the woman who runs the office was just as arrogant and uninterested in helping me, she had the attitude you’d expect from someone who you’d see on the Jeremy Kyle show. All in all they are completely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with these people at all, avoid like the plague

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ride-On Motorcycle Training enough... Knowling I was a complete beginner Mick ran me through all the essentials and was incredibly patient in areas I struggled with (such as low speed bike control). After a few hours we were out on the road, and a few hours more I had passed my CBT. You don't go on to the next stage of training until you are fully confident, and you leave at the end of the day feeling like you've achieved something. On a personal note for those with CBTs booked - Take a sandwich or something with you. There's tea and coffee on site, but a bite to eat just before you head out on the road for the first time (in my case) will do you wonders.

Negative experience: Messed me about for lessons. Cancelled my first lesson 10 minutes before I should of started it with no explanation. Then double booked my second lesson. My 3rd lesson got moved after they cancelled it again. Poorly organised and not cheap. Trainer seemed disinterested. Found a lot better training elsewhere without getting messed about to suit them.

Fantastic experience: can't thank you guys enough, Simon is a fantastic instructor ,i did enjoy every lesson with him and he got me through mod1 and mod2 .If you want to pass your test first time without being nervous I'll highly recommend Simon at ride on

Would definitely recommend to anyone & I have never heard of anyone saying any different, so ignore the last chaps negative review. These are a really good firm to learn & pass with so book!!!

Negative experience: Booked cbt today for a Saturday after that I asked if they had the Sunday available they said no and said they will cancel my booking when I DID NOT say CANCLE I was just asking a question after saying don't cancel I will do it on the Saturday she read my messages but did not reply after 20 mins I asked again and she said some one else has just paid for that date so messing me about not only that I was going to use these to do my motor bike licence right after cbt also had 3 other people wanting to do there bike test with them but no we have to go else where so not only they have lost me as a customer they have lost the 3 other people who was going to do DAS TRAINING with them. I was warned I would get messed about by these but thought I will give them a try Well they have proved me wrong Thank you for letting us down great customer service

My instructor Simon has a great way of teaching people and learning with him was very easy and I felt very comfortable.
