Fantastic experience: Attended a CPC 5 day course highly recommended meeting new people and listening to many different stories from different people is an eye opener, the course itself was excellent and every topic covered in detail do not do online when you can experience the classroom course.

Fantastic experience: I decided to become a Class 2 driver. L&T was recommended to me through word of mouth. From the very beginning there was a friendly atmosphere, I didn't have to worry about anything because the team members provide learning materials, help getting provisional licence, arrange medical test and theory and practical exams. Great instructors and people working in the office. Very helpful. These are people who know what they’re doing and are highly professional. They put their heart into their work, I felt it every day. I passed my test at the 1st time. I recommend this driving school to everyone! Special thanks to Andy, Ian, Malc and Jo, my instructors, and Jo, Wendy, Anne and Laura in the office.

Fantastic experience: From my initial enquiry to successfully passing C+E first time the whole experience has been fantastic at L&T The office staff are so friendly and accommodating with all questions and take time to explain the process. The instructors are knowledgeable and professional with the training out on the road making you feel relaxed. The on site reversing and classroom facilities are excellent and also it helps when the DLVA examiner comes to site rather than you having to drive to a testing centre. Special thanks to Laura in the office and Jo my instructor.

Fantastic experience: Successfully passed my hgv with this company. Regardless of whether I passed the first time or not my feedback would stay the same. When i first approached them and confirmed I would use them, it was like a well oiled machine... everything was very well organised. All of the assessors were very friendly and more importantly happy to chat which naturally puts you at ease when you are about to take your C+E . Having different teachers actually were usefull as they all had their own way of doing things, which when it came down to the test, I used to my advantage. Equally the examiner was very chatty which helps if you haven't done a driving test for 30 years. If you are wanting a friendly and knowledgeable driver training company then these are the guys for you.

Negative experience: I will not recommend L&T hrs was changed more than once.1 off the instructors did most of the driving I was sat in passenger seat. I was suppose to learn reversing I was told reverse in a line then called it a day I only drove from the hrs paid 55 mins. I Lost all confidence with the company so I went to Viamaster to do my reversing passed and took a few hrs lessons too to catch on what I missed out on Viamaster was bang on. I'd recomed them instead.

Fantastic experience: x5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - In Oct/Nov 2023 I decided I needed a new challenge and wanted to gain my class 1 driving licence. I turned to Google reviews and found L&T to have some very positive feedback. Completed my medical in November 2023, revised hard and passed my theory (multiple choice, hazard perception & CPC) in December 2023 and started my crash course training 15th Jan 2024. I found the staff really friendly and knowledgeable putting me at ease throughout. I then completed my practical CPC & Reverse test and passed them last week before taking my practical driving test this week (today). I took the knowledge they had shared on-board and have successfully passed my class 1 practical driving test today. I am so pleased and if anyone is looking to advance their driving qualifications definitely reach out to L&T Transport Training Services. A family friendly company that actually…. Care! Thank you so much L&T I am super chuffed!

Fantastic experience: I passed my class 1 training first time with L&T. The training and help I received was second to none. All the staff are excellent and patient. I recently attended there for my 5 day CPC course. Martin who took the course made every day interesting and fun which helped the days go quickly. His knowledge and enthusiasm was again second to none. I would recommend L&T to anyone wanting any sort of transport training.

Fantastic experience: Undertook my hgv class 1&2 training with first time passes all the instructors are superb and totally down to earth , inciteful and helpful in all aspect, i recently undertook my cpc refreshers undertaken by Martine Covell who made the 3 days fly past , he kept the atmosphere light , pleasant and took the time to answer any questions. He went out of his way to obtain the answers to things he wasn't aware of when asked even if those didn't entirely go with thar days course . A very likeable and pleasant person who really deserves the credit for a job well done highly recommended to anyone needing training or a refresher , l&t is the place for all your needs.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyable days clamshell attachment training, thanks to Martin it was very informative, interesting while putting us at ease but also stressing the seriousness involved in the subject, thank you. Myself and everyone at our company who has used them previously has passed their test first time which is a testament to the top quality instructors they have. I had lessons with both Andy and Keith who are both extremely knowledgeable. Great set up all round and will be using them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed FTCE with L&T. From helping me with my application, booking theory, medical and practical they have been brilliant. Communication throughout has been amazing. Over the six days i had 3 instructors all brilliant. From Monday I had Neil who took me into the bigger lorry and took me through the reverse, uncouple and re couple. I cannot fault anything. CPC,reverse and test times were all set out and lesson times agreed which worked great for me. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my C+E today and I could not recommend L&T enough I had three instructors over my six days( Jo, Gareth and Martin)and all three of them were top notch couldn’t have asked for better training to prepare me for the driving test. Fantastic experience: I passed my C and C+E with L&T. The back office team was brilliant at all stages of the process, helpful and available for any questions or worries. As the training itself, I have been lucky to have with me a great instructor. Communication was excellent, make you feel confident straightaway but also understand how you hold life in this new career path, and was able to make you understand how important it is, it's not just driving, it's everything else. L&T did make all efforts to make the training as safe as possible due to covid regulations and I must said, I have been impressed by their professionalism about it on site and also in trailer cab. Well done guys.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to L&T from work to complete some periodic CPC training and due to Covid was done online. I was a little concerned as before it was done in a classroom environment. However I cannot fault L&T as it went brilliantly. The course was well presented and enjoyable to do. Also the module was promptly uploaded the following day to DVSA. A big thank you to Richard the tutor who was friendly, patient and professional and made everyone on the course welcome. I would highly recommend L&T to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have not got a bad word to say about l&t the training is spot on trucks are looked after and the staff know there stuff.i did not pass this time but i have rebooked another lesson and a retest and know with a extra lesson i will pass. It was just nerves that failed me . And not the company thanks for the advice and the push in the right direction. Fantastic experience: Excellent Service and very friendly staff - Recently taken my B+E training/ test wit L & T. Prior to training my driving standards had slipped over the years but this was recognised and brought back up to standard within a couple of days. The training is structured towards the DVSA assessment and all aspects are covered and reviewed. The vehicles are ideal for learning and the training school is the DVSA test centre, which affords familiarity with the surroundings and takes that aspect away from the nerves of test day! Passed with flying colours and can tow any caravan I choose now :) Thanks, Neil

Fantastic experience: Just passed my C licence with these guys, very professional with a down to earth family run business feeling. Really helpful even at short notice as I needed to rearrange training due to a funeral. Very good instructors, tell you exactly what to do and what you are doing wrong, the only thing I won't miss is them "volvo indicators" get em rung, get it passed!!

Positive experience: I have just taken the trailer towing and test with l and t. The staff here are great and very down to earth. Jo was my instructor and she must of done a good job as I passed my test. Everyone congratulated me on my return after my test even the cleaner. The only reason I havnt given 5 stars is that the trailers could do with some regular maintenance. We had to call at the tow centre on our lesson to get the trailer looked at as the jockey wheel was seizing and the light plug was all taped together. I have already recommend l and t to my friend. The office staff were very helpful and he had three different instructors all of whom did a great job, Rob, Bill and Ian were all friendly and very good teachers. Fantastic experience: I got my bus licence 2 years ago with first time pass which was mainly down to fantastic trainer and the training system in place. The trainers are very professional in their approach to training and will develop your skills appropriately. I have today passed my Cat C test again first time. If you are thinking of developing your driving skills, then I would advise you to do it through L&T.

Negative experience: Avoid and go elsewhere (Sheffield, Doncaster) or end up re-testing multiple times, wasting your time, money and patience. I have been doing class 2 with an L&T (initial CPC and driving part only - 3 computer based tests were completed by myself earlier this year). Driving assessment was for 20 min - reversing exercise only. Driving training for 5 days by 4 hrs (bought an additional 4hrs for £320). Total: 5 days by 4 hrs including driving test. Every day different instructor with bit different expectations but improvements were made all the time. Last day of training only 1 fault spotted. Happy to proceed to the driving test. Nothing like that. End up on driving test with: 3 serious faults repeated multiple times (8 faults total)!!! Re-tested and failed again. This time 1 serious fault and 4 faults total. Improvements were made by watching different Driving School training techniques posted on You Tube and hours of driving in my private car. --- Make the long story short - L&T failed to prepare myself up to the examiner standards, despite having 20 hrs (not 16 hrs as standard) of driving to be used. --- 5 stars for the office staff - very kind and helpful ppl. Thank you.
