Negative experience: To start with, I was running late to my session, through my own fault, so I apologised profusely for this! However, I received an angry phone call informing me that I was late, and when I offered to rearrange I was told ‘no, you’re losing me money’. I was yelled at and then had the phone hung up on me. When I arrived, the trainer was understanding and other than 2 comments about my lateness, was excellent. He was supportive and encouraging. However, I was put on the day (my first time ever riding a motorbike) with someone who was on her second session, and was ready to proceed to driving on the road. So because she was ready to continue, and I was not yet, I was sent home at 1pm. I had just 4 hours from start to finish, for £200. This is inadequate for the price and I strongly feel that if I had more time practicing, that I would’ve been okay on the road later on. But I was not given this opportunity. It is clear that this business is money focussed and want people to come back for multiple sessions. I will not be returning for any further sessions with this company.

Fantastic experience: Passed my Mod 2 with Complete Bike Training today! Started my journey with Complete Bike Training back in May doing my CBT with Matt in Telford, to then going and doing my Mod 1 & 2 with the rest of the team up in Shrewsbury. These guys know their stuff! All the instructors I had, Mike, Matt and John were excellent in the delivery of lessons, and shared their invaluable experience when out on the road and on lunch breaks(looking through Mikes catalogue of bikes was immense!). Would like to give a particular shout out to Matt C. whose words of rider wisdom will forever be in my mind when out on the road! Massive thanks to John T as well for keeping things fun and focused on both test days, I’d have been a bag of nerves had it not been for you! Hoping to do some further training with the guys when I get bike Thanks again Gents!

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT and assessment about a month ago and then booked my Direct access course which I did in one block. Passed my Mod 1 last week and Mod 2 today doing the direct access course. Passed both first time. Mick and John were my instructors and I couldn’t be more pleased. They were both confidence inspiring and excellent instructors. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I passed my Motorcycle CBT today with Complete Bike Training. Matt the instructor, was great and made it a great session and I felt totally safe throughout. At no point did I feel pushed or rushed and Matt was really patient with all my questions. This was actually my second attempt at the CBT. I sat it a couple weeks ago having never even sat on a motorcycle, let alone ridden one. Having completed the morning session, It was agreed I needed more practice on the bike before heading out on the road. While I was disappointed with this at the time, on reflection, it was 100% the right decision. I did my best to work out where I went wrong and booked in for another session today. With Matt’s advice and great training style I was able to pass the CBT today. I look forward to booking some lessons now and hope to obtain my full bike licence through this company - I can heartily recommend them to anyone looking for motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: First of all let me start off by saying that Matt was a fantastic instructor who has helped build my confidence to a level where I genuinely feel safe & ready to start the journey. The CBT itself? If you've ever loved a push bike & miss the wind in your gills..... Go for it If you find yourself in a mental slump, with nothing but dredd in view..... Go for it Us as humans need fun & excitement to counter-balance the crud... Get on that 125 & swerve yourself Alive. Even though My instructor promised payment for a positive review........ Fantastic experience: Recently completed my CBT with matt over in Telford who was a great instructor. I then went straight on to das. I had Andy and Matt for various lessons and both instructors are superb, they have a very relaxed approach but both are very knowledge and experienced individuals. I passed both mod 1 and 2 but more importantly I feel confident to go out on a bike and stay safe. So thanks lads ... keep it up.

Negative experience: 2 star review at the moment... I was very pleased with the level of instruction I had during my first experience with them. I had to rebook and was told to do it in Shrewsbury as they had availability. I had no email confirmation but that's fine... Shrewsbury for 9.30 that's not difficult. I get to the location stated on the website and after sitting in the sun for hours - non stop calling and messaging via the Facebook and emailing... turns out I was in the wrong location, nobody bothered to call me. I had no idea about the "CBT" location I was supposed to be in and was told its too late to carry on. Rebooked for October let's see how it goes. Hopefully it will be positive like the first time and I can change my review. Fingers crossed!

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my A2 licence with the help of these amazing instructors from doing my cbt with matt every 2 years for the last 6 years to then doing my A2 licence and passing it with the help of Andy and John what an amazing bunch of instructors they have always down for a laugh and joke will definitely be going back to get my full licence in 2 years when I'm old enough wouldn't go with anyone else bikes are easy to use Big thanks to Andy for getting me though my tests Many thanks Jack

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with Matt in Shrewsbury on Monday 19th June and couldn't be happier with the course. Originally wanted to do it in Telford but they were booked solid for 6 weeks so relocated to Shrewsbury for an earlier date. John/Kev on the phone were perfectly nice and helpful and got everything booked and arranged easily. Matt is a fantastic instructor and has the perfect blend of coaching and information, along with humour and general good vibes. His instruction style was nicely tailored to our diverse group and he made sure we were all up to speed on all elements before moving on. Totally knowledgeable, constantly checking if we had questions and always had an answer and some extra insight. The ride through town was a bit shaky to start with, but being able to open the taps and really enjoy the second hour through the countryside was fantastic. Slightly more expensive than others around, but I have zero regrets in choosing Complete Bike Training and will choose them again for my DAS later this year. Only issues for me are the lack of facilities (toilets are in a cafe across the road). Make sure you bring plenty of water and note that the venue for Shrewsbury CBTs is most obviously signposted as Dulston Training (another company using the same ground) near the cattle market, not the location on Google. Thanks again Matt.

Fantastic experience: As a mature lady rider I have been deliberately taking my time with training (1 lesson a week) and I have just passed my Mod 1 thanks to Mat, Richard & Andy. I’ve been riding a lowered bike (the school has 2 and plenty of full size bikes as well ) and that has been great for my confidence whilst learning. The instructors are all lovely guys and the standards of training are top drawer. Any ladies reading this, the school is very friendly, give them a call, you won’t regret it ️

Fantastic experience: Matt is a great instructor, got me and 2 mates who hadn't ridden before through our CBTs. Only thing to watch is make sure you listen and turn up at the right place. We waited at the office on the industrial estate for a bit before ringing up and being directed to the cattle market where the CBTs actually happen.

Fantastic experience: After a long, tiring but fun week I passed my full license very much thanks to the team! An extra special thank you has to go to my fantastic instructor Matt who guided me with calm and composure from my nervous first day on the bigger bike to flying (within the speed limit of course...) through my tests. His knowledge is exceptional and you would struggle not to simply appreciate the chance to ride Shropshires great roads with him come the end. Thank you Matt and team for everything. All the instructors know how to make you feel at ease, and confidence was quickly found when changing from the 125cc to the 650cc. Fantastic experience: Passed my full motorcycle license Very professional guys but chilled out. Would highly recommend. I was a bit nervous to start with but nerves soon went. Fantastic experience: Can't rate these guys high enough. Been riding a 125 for a year but only for practice so actually only covered around 600 miles. I knew I needed some propper teaching for my DAS. Booked in for three days lessons and a day for Mod 1 and 2. 3 great days training which exposed my shortcomings and helped me in this journey of improvement. Across the three days training I had Richie on days 1 and 3 and Andy on day 2. I really benefited from this mix of trainer as each gave me something I needed, Richie for skills and confidence and a stern Andy (but lovely and totally correct and only with the view to improving me) to better think and apply. Big respect to both of you, thanks. On test day I had Matt, again a brilliant chap who helped settle nerves and work on this final touches. Thanks Matt. Finally to get to the point... Mod 1, 3 minors but a pass. Though I know it was almost all over as in the panic of the test situation my slalom and figure 8 were way to slow - me, Matt and Tony (the examiner) could not belive I didn't put a foot down! So on to Mod 2... Matt offered me the chance to have a good period of final practice, but I didn't want to risk fingers cramping up on the clutch so opted to stay off the bike and try and get my head in the game. We did cover a run through of the test questions, which was helpful and did do a final run around the block before heading to the test centre to see Tony again. Final ride to the test centre went pretty well then its test time. Matt gave me all the emotional support and confidence anyone could ask for but when you get on that bike it's purely down to you and the next 40 mins. Regretfully my brain just started overthinking things again and I went into this kind of over observing mode, which didn't go unnoticed by Tony. Test was over in a flash and despite picking up 6 minors I had passed. I did get a big speach from Tony expressing his concerns about my ability, though he did close by saying my general riding was quite good. Matt who was with me in the debrief then reinforced what Tony had said and I know they are both right. Tony mentioned a book that would help me develop but in his role he can't make recommendations, however Matt knew which book he meant and gave me the details to order it. (it arrives Wednesday!) Matt then gave me some final word of wisdom and advice before we went back to the training centre. Without any doubt I would not have passed both modules on the same day at the first attempt without this company and specifically Richie, Andy and Matt. Big thanks from me and if you are looking for bike training don't mess around, just book these guys. (Richie your advice on how to judge Mod one speed trap was so beneficial, needed to be at 50kph and without looking at speedo on the test hit 51 and 52kph near perfect) Last word of advice to myself as much as anybody else...... Passing the tests does not a good rider make, so continue to grow your skills and experience slowly and safely, that way you can enjoy your new 2 wheeled freedom for longer .

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing instructors. They are calm relaxed and laid-back. Great sense of humour and makes you feel comfortable while riding. The instruction is simple but straightforward getting you up to speed as quick as possible. I passed my CBT first time with Matt. I thank you for teaching me and making my dream come true and I'll definitely be back in a couple of years to do my medium licence with you guys.

Fantastic experience: 10 months ago - (Passed my CBT test today with instructor Matt Wilson. Although somewhat confident on geared bike, I felt that I wasn't ready for the road itself. Happily switched to a moped. Matt was very helpful, informative, and funny guy giving me & 2 other riders the reassurance & full confidence out on the road) UPDATE: Did a conversion training yesterday with Matt Wilson and now I'm fully comfortable on a geared bike after getting some road experience on my scooter previously. As per usual great instructor, fun to be around and we won't mention my fluorescent bib being on back to front, giving Matt the keys back although I needed them and my headset being on wrong way around lol. Highly recommend CBT Ltd. 5*

Fantastic experience: Today I took my CBT with Matt from Complete Bike Training and I cannot recommend highly enough! Matt was helpful, informative and confidence inspiring which is what you want in an instructor. Having been a car driver for over 17 years, I was surprised by how much I learnt when going through each step from a "biker" point of view and by the time the road riding came, any fears I may have had at the start if the day were completely gone. Even with a number of road closures due to flooding, we were able to ride on roads that featured traffic lights, right and left turns, junctions, roundabouts and everything else you'd expect as a day-to-day rider, preparing you fully for riding solo. Looking to get lessons on the bigger bike next but from a CBT point of view, I would look no where else.

Fantastic experience: CBT very much teach you to ride a bike rather than learning by rote to pass your tests. They teach you the WHY of everything you're doing to turn you into a thinking rider which ultimately makes you a safer one. Every member of the team is invested in your learning experience and couple solid teaching with a good dose of humour. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am only 5'2, short and required a lowered bike... CBT is the only place in Shrewsbury to accommodate this. It is also a place you want to get your training done! All the instructors are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable answering all the questions in the world (trust me, I have had many) but also fun and patient. All the above makes learning easy and a pleasurable experience. I have passed my CBT in June and had my full licence course mid October where I passed my MOD1 and MOD2 1st time. Fantastic experience: The guys at complete bike training are really what you need in an instructor: Clear, patient and friendly. I went through a direct access course so CBT to full A. With timing they tried to be as flexible as possible and were accommodating to my schedule. I would recommend. My only feedback would be that an automated booking confirmation or reminder system would be useful.

Fantastic experience: Professional Motorcycle Training for all levels of ability. My partner Karen achieved her CBT on Sunday with trainer "Young Matt" Karen, apprehensive at first, was soon put at ease with Matts professional approach to the day. Gradualy & patiently the pad work was completed then it was time for the 2 hour road training. Karen's confidence on the bike had totally changed after the days work at CBT Shrewsbury and was presented with her certificate to ride a 125cc motorbike after a comprehensive De Brief. Positive experience: I had my training with Kevin last year. A bit pricey than competitors, but I don't think it comes with quality. Very average training(routine kills). I've learnt more from good youtube channels. No information about an exam itself. If you pay by card and his mate doesn't answer the phone they want to write down your card details!! Extra stars for being polite, friendly and good bikes. Overall I don't recommend, find better place.

Negative experience: Never enough instructors sent son home after 1/2 a day because only one instructer to 3 trainees but still charged full price £130 when booking next session was told after an argument he'd get 2hrs free but on the day different instructor and charged £20 per hour and again sent home after 3hrs not enough instructors

Fantastic experience: Great team. Learnt to ride in my mid 40s having never ridden a bike at all. The whole team were very very patient with me. And now I ride a Street Triple. Highly recommended anyone wanting to learn to ride a bike to use CBT. Reasonably priced too
