Positive experience: A great family run Business very helpful mechanics in there they explained everything to me about what was wrong with my bike and how to fix it, then repaired it for a decent price, would definitely recommend if you have any bike issues.
Fantastic experience: This guy goes completely out of his way to ensure he helps you to get your bike back on the road.. Highly Recommend
Negative experience: Rude, offensive and unprofessional. Took my motorbike here for a service. When I dropped it off I was asked if I had any issues and I said I thought the chain was a bit loose due to a tapping sound. I was advised this was part of the service. A couple of days after the service I was riding and noticed the tapping sound was still happening. Assuming it had been tensioned in the service I was concerned it was something else so I called and was advised to drop by so it could be checked. I went back a few days later when I had time (after confirming this was when I would be stopping by). When I got there, it seemed there was only one person there who was dealing with a customer at the time. While I get that he was busy, some form of acknowledgement that I was there would have been nice. Instead I was waiting for 10 minutes then the customer left and the staff member disappeared. He came back a few minutes later and asked how he could help so I explained why I was there - he looked irritated as if I was an inconvenience. He said he would have a quick look then walked back into the office. I went outside and waited with my bike - it was another 10 minutes, by which point I was on the verge of just leaving, before he came out. After putting my bike on the center stand, glancing at the chain, then starting the engine, putting it in gear and revving it, he cut the engine and said "yeah it's just the chain is a bit loose, do you not know how to tighten it?". I pointed out that they had serviced it a week before, and just got a blank look with an "and?" attitude. I pressed the matter and asked if it had been tightened during the service - he said it was part of the service so "will have been done" and seemed to think he could tell it had been done, but didn't allude as to how this was visible. I asked how it could be loose a week after the service and he said it was "natural chain stretch on a new chain" - the chain is not new, it's over 2 years old. He then went on to say "plus you're a bit of a lump and it has to pull you along the road so some stretch is expected.". Not what I was expecting to hear. He then said he could tighten it for me but couldn't fit it in until the following week. He muttered something about labor costs. I refuse to pay for something to be done that should have been done in the first place but clearly wasn't done at all. I thought I was saving myself some time by getting it done "professionally" but this obviously wasn't the right place to expect that level of service. All it has done is caused me more time while being insulted in the process. Needless to say I will not be using them again.
Fantastic experience: Class A. I'm gonna give this training company 5stars purely because of the training that I received was incredible, Pete which I believe to be thing king of all instructors was vital to my passing of the mod 1 and mod 2. A lot of effort and patience on Pete's behalf to get me that pass. He was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I'll be sure to pass on the recommendation to others who I'll be persuading to get their licences. A big thank you to Pete and the training company
Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing , can't thank Pete enough for helping me gain my bike license, would definitely recommend to anybody who wants to learn to ride n pass bike tests
Fantastic experience: Pete the trainer is next level. Really good at his job and he got me through my tests with zero faults. Highly recommend
Fantastic experience: CBT booked at fairly short notice at the beginning of the week. Managed to fit me in on the Saturday morning. Excellent course, very friendly and patient. Had a laugh and joke at the correct times, very relaxed no stress. Had all the time in the world for questions and explained everything very well. I haven't ridden in about 20 years but after having a jaunt around the test centre it all came back to me. Out on the road was straight forward with excellent instructions in my ear by intercom, with a good few hours riding. Stopped for a cuppa and stretch then we were back on the road for a bit. Back to the test centre and a little chat about a few things and that's it done. Couldn't fault it in anyway and it was an enjoyable day, very professional and patient with a great price to boot. Thanks
Fantastic experience: Very nice friendly man willing to help you and give you his time
Fantastic experience: Wow, what can I say, absolutely superb service!!! So helpful, gave me good advice, and looked after me a treat. Even recommended the equally superb B-24 Cafe just down the road to wait in while they worked on my bike. Excellent shop, so much stock, awesome motorbikes, and superlative staff. Definitely recommended 100% - 10/10...!!!
Fantastic experience: friendly staff, very helpful ,I'm very happy , will go back
Fantastic experience: Very helpful
Fantastic experience: Very helpful and excellent service
Negative experience: Took my bike for mot failed because I had tyre on the wrong way. Also need indicator bulbs. Was charged 60 pound just to get a tyre turned around which I refused to pay took it to another garage got in done for 15 quid. When I called back to get appointment to get MOT which I already paid for was told I would have to wait 2 weeks. Was a big fan of ktm but will not go back to this shop and know i think I’ll go with Yamaha and not even purchase anything ktm agine.
Negative experience: My son and myself took our CBT here today, can't fault the valuable instruction and training within the site complex, (although the complex can do with an upgrade, the portable toilets were disgusting) however out on the road for my son was totally different. He has just literally turned 16 and had never driven any type of motorised vehicle on the road previously so he was very, very nervous before he started, he lacks confidence at the best of times anyway, so when Peter the instructor started shouting and swearing at him through the mic while he was riding on a busy Saturday afternoon in heavy traffic through the city telling him to watch his Fu*king speed, or look over your Fu*king shoulder etc etc... I was somewhat angry and wanted to step in, however it would have made my son worse as he doesn't like confrontation, so I left it. We refuelled the bikes and while Peter was paying for the fuel my son asked if we were finished now and wanted to go home, but I persuaded him to carry on. We stopped for a coffee and my son sat at the café looking totally dejected, I was sad for him and as a father I had to bring his confidence back up which thankfully I did. I was gutted for him as we had a scooter sitting at home waiting for him to start his journey of independence and here was the instructor deflating my son to the point he wanted to go home because he was being shouted at and belittled in front of his father. He is a 16 year old kid who was nervous as hell and not once did the instructor praise him out on that ride, a well done or that was excellent would have gone a long way to building his confidence. In my opinion he did fantastic and on the journey home we had a chat and he now can't wait to go out on his bike with his dad. Would I use this driving school again , not a chance!!!!
Fantastic experience: I put in a call from Mexico due to an ongoing problem with my 2010 990R Adventure. Dave pinpointed the issue immediately and I am very grateful for his excellent advice, as I am back up and running and off up in to the Sierra Gorda mountain range in the state of Queretaro and San Luis Potosi. Thank you!!!!
Positive experience: Nice people
Negative experience: I was pleased when DB was able to do the first service on my KTM 390 Adv after being let down by the supplying dealer. After collecting the bike, and leaving it parked I discovered a large crack in the LHS side panel. I thought the bike had been vandalised whilst parked! Turned out the damage had been done during the service. Apparently I had not been informed due to a ‘communication error’. Two issues… Firstly I accept breakages happen but not when paying for a skilled KTM mechanic £84 an hour. Secondly not informing me was unacceptable. On the positive side a new panel had been ordered which I was able to collect a few days later. I think I will fit it myself! Less than delighted….
Negative experience: Shocking attitude to servicing a motorbike. Took my af twin and KTM there for service bill was £500 . The KTM came back with the same issue it went in with. Also the af twin came back with clutch cable missthreaded meaning the handle bars would not turn fully. Also my request for the clutch to be changed was ignored. Having to do it myself. Totally unreliable and super negative attitude. Checking my air filter it looks like it was not changed in the full service I was charged for. Also took weeks to do.
Fantastic experience: Beyond Excellent ,Absolutely Brilliant, superior to other motorcycle businesses like Dave Barkshire I cannot express in words the excellence of Dave Barkshire Motorcycles. The knowledge he and his staff have is beyond what other businesses know. Their customer service was brilliant. The prices are fair. Their dedication and effort to each and every customer is superb. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else!!
Fantastic experience: Outstanding service from all at Dave Barkshire motorcycles. Can't fault them in any way. 10/10 highly recommend
Negative experience: This is the 2nd KTM dealership that's given me bad service. Do not return calls, absolutely refuse to carry out warranty work. Bike was poorly PDI checked, if at all? Service booklet not filled in , if you can't be bothered, then don't bother. You DO NOT have the monopoly !

Fantastic experience: Got to love a motorbike shop esp KTM. Staff were very helpful.
Fantastic experience: What can I say.... Pete has been amazing from start to finish of my DAS , I had plenty of bad habits to kick with getting back on a bike after years of not riding. I went in with the belief that I only needed to use a training school to just get me through my tests, but actually learnt so much more about progressing my skill set which I can now use every time I jump on my bike. Anybody considering using DB motorcycle training don't hesitate you will be in the capable hands of the best instructors I have met and in Norfolk also... Thanks again Pete
Fantastic experience: Best place for Gaining your CBT
Positive experience: I guess if you know exactly what you're looking for this dealer would tick the boxes. I went to have a look at the KTM motorcycle range however I didn't speak to anyone as the salesperson was dealing with another customer.

Negative experience: Shocking customer service been taking my bike there for a few years but won't anymore the guy behind the till upstairs needs to find a new path in life i think as it sure looks like he hates that place, chucked my card back at me didn't utter a word. A lot of very miserable people moping about this place jeeez
Negative experience: Had my scooter mot done (and oil change) there, sailed through, BUT, was told less than £50 when I booked, somehow that became over £70, not happy as the labour rate escalated from what I was told! Won't be going there again. Sorry
