Fantastic experience: Thoroughly recommend MTS Sussex to anyone wanting to get on a bike. I did my CBT with them last weekend and prior to this I did a new riders training course considering I have never ridden before. The CBT was mainly instructed by Max who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and was also a good laugh. I went on my road ride with Neil, also a nice bloke and seemingly just as knowledgeable. I hope to come back and get my A2 license with them very soon. Thank you to both Max and Neil for your time, patience and expertise.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place ;) I went from a CBT to a full A licence after spending just 3 days with Ric and Max. Best part being that I really enjoyed the time I've spent with them, not only because of their vast knowledge, experience and great teaching abilities, but because they really are great guys to go riding with! You cannot go wrong with MTS! The friendly atmosphere and the true effort these people put into the training just makes it a perfect choice. I am now happily riding my dream bike ;) Guys, thank you again for making a dream come true!!!

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt on sunday 18th feb 2024. Did my cbt with very nice lads. I instructors were amazing. (Sat nav, neil and auto 750cc dude) Clear instructions given during road ride. Great experience. Defo coming back.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to do cbt ,big shout to the lady with the bmw bike on saturday who took extra steps knowing I had my das already booked in keeping me on my toes ensuring I learnt a few bits before hand about that . I'm hoping I have my das training with her but not sure it will be if its in burgess hill. I didn't get the older chaps name but he was also very friendly seemed to have time and gave me allt more confidence I'd been off the bike for perhaps 10/11 years . Thanks alot

Fantastic experience: Great day very informative and patient, aware that everyone learns at a different pace, however need to work on the break time bit guys, making yourselves coffee when all we got was a cup of water half way through!! Really!!! Come on guys you can do better than that!, I know that there are time constraints etc, otherwise good job and huge shout out to Amanda, absolute star, I will forever now be known as the white power ranger.

Negative experience: To be honest waste of time and money. They didn't let me finish the course. It was a lot of talks about safty instead of expected professional advice how to ride the bike. You should avoid this center.

Even though I only went to renew my CBT i leant a lot and had a few of my bad habits picked up on :/ which is good. I can’t wait to use this company next year for my A2. Fantastic experience: I've done New Rider Training and passed CBT! All thanks to great instructors which were absolutely brilliant! I'm sure that I made Holland heart beat faster many times during riding on the road,but he stayed patient and professional which help me to continue the training and get better by the end of it. I recommend to take New Rider Training if you have never ridden before as the guys are all about helping you to be safe on the road and prepare you to take CBT with more confidence. Fantastic experience: Flopped a cbt elsewhere and knocked my confidence a tad but done some new rider training with Max and it was great, he was very patient and broke everything down really well. Can’t fault them at all.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience at MTS. Did my CBT and some new rider training and the instructors were patient, genuinely passionate about riding, keeping you safe and making it interesting. I was incredibly nervous about the road ride, but Jason was helpful and reassuring, pointing out mistakes that I had made but also teaching us to "ride for ourselves". I ended up getting over my nerves as a result and getting the certificate! If you're thinking of learning to ride, I would strongly recommend you do a new rider training so you have some confidence for the CBT, as I made that mistake the first time and didn't make it to the road ride

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate the team at MTS highly enough, honest, fair and all round great members of the team from all aspects of the business. Having completed my CBT I will be back for a DAS in the near future. The training course itself was not only informative but engaging too, applicable to those of all categories of age, background and so on. All instructors were approachable and encouraging every step of the way with thorough guidance and insight into any applicable event. Special shout out to Jason and Holland for their support throughout the day, a great experience!

He was brilliant, I'm deaf and he was fantastic, he took the time to explain everything, repeated himself as often as I needed, he showed me what to do so I could copy him . I had the best experience, I'm in the process of booking more lessons and I am excited to complete my CBT , can't recommend them enough!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been driving for about 10 years and fancied getting a CBT to ride bikes - the whole team were fantastic and patient. If you've never ridden before it can be quite a learning curve but both instructors were absolutely fantastic and reassuring. 3 of us went together to do the training and all came away very happy! Fantastic experience: Had cbt with MTS in Crawley today, cannot fault the guys there. Having never ridden before was a bit apprehensive and being a bit anxious wasn't sure how I'd get on but all 3 of the instructors were clear and took their time to make sure everyone in the group was comfortable before moving on to the next stage. Shout out to Max who took me on the ride at the end, his reassuring chat in the ear really helped settle any nerves, but really thanks to all that helped me today, much appreciated. You're each a real credit to MTS

Fantastic experience: Had previous 'new to riding' lessons with Matt, Max and Holland all three teach in their own style. I personally enjoyed the teaching styles of Matt and Holland, especially Holland he just has a different way of explaining things that I just got. Today I passed my CBT with Max, Holland and Jason again 3 very different personalities poor Max got lumbered with me on the final leg of the CBT, I was pretty nervous about getting on the road but once out it was amazing!! .. Thanks to all the lads for putting up with me a genuinley nice bunch of dudes.

Fantastic experience: Competed my manual CBT with Jason, Holland and Max. All three were extremely patient and professional, managing to get me through on a manual bike with no experience whatsoever. I cannot reccomend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I very highly recommend MTS to anyone wanting to get their motorcycle licence. Absolutely amazing school and fantastic staff! I did my CBT (with Holland and Jason - they're awesome) and now DAS with MTS. Had an awesome time, all the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and just all around incredible. I was nervous to get on a bigger bike from a 125 but Jason, Max (both of them), Rick and everyone reassured, encouraged and got me on out on the road very quickly and inspired confidence with ease. All the instructors gave very detailed explanations to any questions I had and cleared any confusion with great examples and training. Matt helped me book my DAS as soon as possible and with no issues whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: I can't stress how great these guys are! If your feeling nervous about your CBT or motocycle test. Get yourself to these guys for a New riders training course first. My wife's first time on two wheels she couldn't have been in better hands and she absolutely loved it. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend MTS enough, especially for females wanting to ride. Everyone I encountered were super friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to Matt over the phone who answered my questions with ease and straight away made me feel comfortable in choosing MTS. I had two 1 hour new rider sessions with Holland who really took the time to ensure I was comfortable on the bike, definitely money well spent as it helped prepare me for the CBT. I did the CBT with my brother, both Holland and Jason made the day thoroughly enjoyable, we both felt completely safe, not judged and the feedback was always encouraging, there wasn’t a chance to give up. On the road my confidence really grew, especially under the watchful eye of Holland, he was honestly amazing, talked us through what to expect, what to do but eased off towards the end giving us the chance to think for ourselves. When things went wrong, I’d hear deep breath, relax, carry on. My brother was equally as impressed with Jason, often wondering how the hell he saw that! We both passed thanks to their tremendous patience and excellent teaching abilities. They’re both very good at what they do, clearly very experienced, safe riders and we’re very grateful for all their advice, tips and laughs! Once road confidence is built we’ll definitely be rebooking with you for our full licence! Their facilities, bikes and course numbers were all spot on!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic day today doing my CBT. I m 41 now and originally did my CBT when I was 16. I was nervous and anxious about whether I would pick it up again essentially starting from scratch. The instructors step by step process of teaching us the basics again to get us up to confidently riding on busy roads was nothing short of excellent. Attentive and positive, constructive feedback was perfect. I had the pleasure of Holland taking me for the on road part of the day. The fair line between constructive criticism when needed and praise was spot on and I learnt so much from him on that ride. Plus he made sure that I was safe and aware of my surroundings at all times with some observational comedy along the way. Very much confidence inspiring. Topped off with the first beautiful, warm, sunny day of the year. Brilliant day. Massive thanks to all the MTS team and also the other students who were great fun to be around too. Well done guys. Patient, encouraging and supportive. I really love that they have a page for the ladies as well. Would highly recommend and I’ll be coming back to do my full motorbike license soon

Fantastic experience: Only booked my CBT there because they had availability on the day I wanted but ended up feeling like they were a really good choice and I would definitely use them for more training. The instructors were all super friendly, and encouraging. I had a great time with them despite the weather on the day being terrible. All all the kit used was in great condition.

Fantastic experience: I had my CBT training today with these guys and i highly recommended to anyone looking to start riding. The instructors were amazing, very friendly, polite and the right amount of firmeness without sounding condesending which I found with previous instructors when I was getting my car licence, the atmosphere was relaxed, so i dint feel stressed or on the spot. If there was something you dint get quite right the instructors were eager to explain it and go over it again one to one as many times as it took. The provided me with a jacket and helmet and they had these in a range of sizes ( as a larger guy this was something that worried me) , they also carry other riding apparel if you wish to use but you can also bring your own ( i had my own gloves and boots) . I am doing the DAS ( direct access scheme) so I will go straight to getting the unrestricted licence as im 39 years old but won't hesitate to book with these guys again, . Great day, good fun....highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I passed my DAS first time round with MTS today and I am delighted! The entire MTS team are some of the kindest and most supportive you could hope to find when taking any form of motorcycle training. They’ll have a laugh with you, while giving you the highest quality instruction and guidance you need to nail your test. They really are a great bunch of people. A huge thanks goes to Ian, whose patience and professionalism gave me the confidence to become a much better rider! His mantra ‘relax and smile’ will stay with me every time I ride. Simply outstanding!

Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of MTS. Friendly, welcoming instructors. Seriously well run by professional riders. At 44, I was nervous. Very nervous. My son did his CBT at the same time. The structured day between classroom and practical was perfect. Everything was done at our pace. And to each person's pace. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was missed. The second I hit the road with Holland, I felt completely comfortable. He talked us through every detail from road position to switching my indicators off. And yes Holland, I've finally managed itAnd then 2hrs riding. All the way through, you have an instructor (Holland for me) shaping your ride via headset. I've been on my CB125R for 300 miles now and I just wish I'd done it sooner.

Their calm instruction when I repeatedly forgot what I’d learnt and lost the plot was amazing.I would highly recommend if you are a bit (or very) anxious..although you might want to give them a week or two to recover from teaching me

Fantastic experience: Came to renew our CBT after not riding for a year (hubby and I). Group size was large for the pad session but plenty of instructors. 1 to 2 for the road ride which is the important bit. Extremely knowledgeable team who delivered the training well. I enjoyed the road ride with Jason and felt that we used the time fully to expand our experience, rather than just going through the motions. I feel much more confident in general on my bike now. I would def recommend the school. While this is not a 'test' you will not get a cert of you aren't deemed safe (this is a good thing) so I would recommend if you have never ridden that you do a new riders session before CBT and have some working knowledge of the rules of the road (even in terms of a push bike). I didn't intend on doing my DAS but feel much more confident to progress on after the ride with Jason - cheers dude you will be seeing us in the spring for the rest, all being well.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend these guys enough! I booked both my CBT and also my Direct Access through MTS Sussex, I recently completed my CBT with them, I had actually previously done a CBT with another local company almost 10 years ago and I have to say that MTS were a completely different standard compared to this other company, the trainers were all incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, they answered any questions the group had, the actual structure of the day was very thorough and nothing was skimmed over or left out. The group I was in had a wide variety of riding experience which they catered to everyone which was great. They had spare equipment readily available for those that didn’t bring their own and spare waterproofs which was greatly appreciated on our rather grey and wet day! Although I had previous riding experience I still felt I learnt a massive amount throughout the day, it’s amazing what you can forget not having been on a bike for almost 10 years and a lot of valuable information to take forward with me towards my full license later in the year. Big shout out to Jason, Ian, Matt and Holland for running the day, I look forward to returning in October for my DAS!

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT at the Triangle last Wednesday (Sorry for delayed review). Had a fabulous day to say the least, staff was very patient and such brilliant teachers. If my memory serves me correctly my instructor was James who not only was a lovely young individual but also a brilliant teacher (this guy needs a raise!!). Would definitely recommend even just to become a more rounded car driver.

Fantastic experience: Had a great day with all the guys from MTS, training was structured well, concise and thorough, but not too overwhelming. Shout out to Jason for the 1-2-1 on the road, definitely helped my confidence overall, as well as with some of the trickier stuff. I'll definitely be back for further training/licensing in the future :)

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT here a couple of weeks ago, great experience, plenty of time to get used to the bike in the morning, slow speed stuff was tough but was given plenty of time and training to improve. Once I got out on the road it felt great, instruction was on point the whole time so felt very comfortable while out on the road!

Fantastic experience: MTS Crawley were absolutely fantastic. I signed up for a CBT with just an hour or two of practice privately in a car park. In half a day they had me where I was more than confident to carry on learning by myself on the road. Huge thanks goes to Matt who was the instructor for the road portion, I was incredibly lucky to fall into an odd number group so I had one to one tuition (however I would not have felt hard done by if I was paired with another rider due to the excellent standard of all the other instructors there on the day). My theory is booked for mid may, as soon as that is done I will book myself in for the 4 day DAS. After my CBT experience I will not be going anywhere else! Thanks again guys, and for anyone else thinking about getting their CBT I’m 30 and wish I did it earlier!

Fantastic experience: I had a combination of Matt, Jason and Holland for my CBT. They were all very supportive, clear with instructions and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. They were kind enough to lend me some equipment and a bike, all of which were of a high quality and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: As someone who went in for my first lesson with no knowledge on how to even start a motorcycle, I cannot recommend these guys enough! Across the two lessons I've been to so far, both instructors (Holland 1st then Jason on the 2nd) have been brilliant at explaining how to ride and helping you when you slip up (for me, it's slow figure-of-eights and gearing) Both have been brilliant at identifying where I'm going wrong and ironing out the problems so you leave your session feeling confident and knowing that you're a lot closer to your CBT then you was previously! Every training session is brilliant fun and even though I've only spent a total of 2 hours training here, I could hop onto a bike and ride off into the sunset! I will definitely be booking more sessions and my CBT with these guys, massive thumbs up!!!

Fantastic experience: Its a shame that google doesn't let me have multiple reviews but after my first training course a long 2 months ago me and my brother finally went for our CBT. we had Holland and Jason as our instructors whilst we did the slow speed maneuvers, both were incredibly friendly and gave tips on how to improve and after about 3 hours i was riding around one hundred times better then i was previously. Me and my brother went with Jason for the road ride and the knowledge and skill of these instructors really shone through here even whilst having to look after us two he still gave tips on how to ride safer and better and checking many times to make sure we are happy to continue. I'm happy to say that i passed my CBT thanks to the incredible instructors . if you are looking for somewhere to do your CBT this is definitely the place or even if you just want to give riding a go there new rider training course is a great way to start.

Fantastic experience: Attended the new rider course as never been on a bike before. They were brilliant, calm, patient and welcoming putting you at ease. And although it’s not my nearest centre I have booked my cbt with them.

Fantastic experience: Really positive and helpful instructors who helped my performance and confidence beyond belief on my CBT day. I have since booked to have another training day with Ian because I was so thrilled with their work. My friend Rob who came with me on the day was also very happy with MTS Sussex.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT nearly two years ago with Matt - learned a lot about riding correctly at the time. Fast forward to today, did my module 2 for unrestricted motorcycle test and passed on the first try with them - all thanks to Matt and MTS. I got recommend to go here by my brother who also passed using MTS as his instructor. Matt was my instructor for unrestricted bike licence and he gave me strong feedback while riding, both the good things and the bad things that i was doing. Explained to me really well about certain situations and answered all the questions that i had over in detail. I have been practising on my 125 prior to the test by watching videos and such, but feedback and training from MTS was very much needed for me to pass. They picked out certain things that i didn't even notice and would have failed without knowing them. So glad i went with them in the end!

Fantastic experience: Came here for my first try at a CBT, didn't end up going on the roads in the end but still learned a great deal, everyone was really helpful and friendly, big thanks to Jason in particular, had a 1 to 1 1hr training session to iron out the issues I had, thought 1hr wouldn't make much of a difference but it was actually incredibly helpful and gave me a massive boost to my confidence on the bike, the next day I had another go at my CBT and passed with no issues at all! Fantastic experience: I completed my first CBT with a school near Croydon using a Groupon voucher. CBT certificates only last for two years and I needed a new one to continue using my 125 for commuting. I contacted a few schools and things lined up best with MTS which suited me as they had good reviews. The way that MTS handled the CBT training was another level in comparison to the first CBT I completed and off the back of the massively positive experience I decided I would complete my DAS with MTS. My instructor was Ric and he was fantastic! it's pretty obvious that Ric has a real passion for motorbikes and I think this helps to make him an amazing instructor: he knows and loves the subject matter, he explains what you need to do but also takes the time to try to ensure you fully understand why you need to do it (that last bit is so important!). He's also a good laugh which helped to make the entire experience more enjoyable. I don't want to belittle Ric in anyway, because he is an excellent instructor, but I think all his good qualities are typical for MTS instructors: my CBT was led by Matt and Max and I would say similar things about both of them and to be honest and that is exactly why I wanted to do my DAS with MTS.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I did our CBT's today with 0 driving experience/road experience. Jason and Holland were both really patient and understanding (i'm slightly deaf and they accommodated throughout), very clear and helpful in their instructions and taught us literally everything we need to know to be safe. Didn't feel pressured or nervous at all and were never scolded for mistakes. Felt totally safe on the road with clear instructions the entire time and reminders every so often about our performance. Highly recommend especially if you have no experience or are nervous about driving a bike.

Fantastic experience: I seriously cannot recommend these guys highly enough!! From my CBT all the way through to my DAS course they were awesome, so knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun! Incredibly professional and managed to get me (with my very minimal riding experience) to pass both my mod 1 and mod 2 first time! I trained with both Nick and Max and they were both very reassuring and able to highlight everything I needed to improve with advise that made that it easy to do so! A great family run business!!

Fantastic experience: Did my DAS with Max and Rick from MTS last week, was very well instructed by both, and although the banter was fantastic, they want you to pass, so when it's time to get serious that's exactly what happens. Had a great time learning, and passing both mods first time thanks to those two guys. Strongly recommend
