Fantastic experience: I have come to bikes at 53 and have an msx 125 (grom). Love the ride mpg but not the top speed for commuting. Enter a deal with Dominic on a yzf r125. Rode tonight following delivery earlier today...omg. Bike delivered with l plates on, full tank, all docs. From start to finish Dominic has been brilliant. He reflects well on the dealership and Yamaha product. Big thank you for initial bike reservation, pictures, answering all my endless questions, l plates etc. Class bike, class service. Thank you !!

Negative experience: Unable to provide the ordered tyre they overcharged for an inferior tyre same price. When I discovered it later and complained, they didn’t answer Bad service. You should read the emails. After the incident I tried to contact you via you damn form and nobody replied. Don't ask me to call, I have no time to waste.

Fantastic experience: I bought a brand new fjr1300A Yamaha here in 2015. Lovely bikes but was to top heavy for me in the end. I took my old xjr1300 Yamaha there for the big shim service and was very impressed with the performance etc afterwards it went much better. And prices are fair as well. I have got a 2002 xjr1300 Yamaha which is due for a shim service I will at some point bring it into copes to have that done.

Fantastic experience: Purchased my 3rd bike from TK Cope a month ago. Have used them since I purchased my 125cc, all the way up to recently purchasing my MT10. They are so easy to deal with, incredibly helpful, and their aftercare is second to none. They go over and above every time. Won’t go anywhere else !!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience all round! I purchased an Akrapovic exhaust from TK Cope for my Xmax 125 which I had seen on their eBay page. After calling them, they were able to fit me in for installation the next day. The workshop was running on time, and they got to work on my bike as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately, there was a small problem as some parts needed for the installation were missing, but TK Cope gave me a very generous discount as well as the missing parts sent to my house for free for the inconvenience. They kept me informed the whole time whilst waiting for the missing parts, and they arrived about a week later having been sent directly from Yamaha / Akrapovic. On a side note, the showroom at TK Cope is very impressive! Two floors of the newest Yamaha bikes, scooters and three wheelers. Their clothing and accessories section is also very extensive. The team were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional throughout, and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you!

Negative experience: Friendly staff but didn't had any of the stuff I was looking for( petrol motorcycles for kids and adults and riding suit..nothing at all for the kids..not riding stuff,no hamlets, gloves,boots ect

Fantastic experience: Bought a 50cc last year, went on to get my CBT with them, very thorough, helpful and patient. When off CBT in my pocket & unfortunately a car ram me from the back... My moped was a write off & it took me a little time to get over it. Wanting to go back on the saddle, contacted them as I wanted a 125 d'light scooter in white, they sourced one which was supposed to take two weeks to be delivered, it came early & I was able to pick it up last Friday, Steve & Dom had sorted it all out for me. Dom when through the controls with me & Ken, who I was dealing on the phone named it Milky, loved the name... Milky & I are so far are living a happy ever after, thanks to all the staff at TK Cope. I highly recommend them, great service and very helpful and caring team.

Negative experience: Never found them particularly helpful at the best of times. Called in a day or so ago during the Covid times and was basically told everything I couldn’t do by someone who had no customer service skills at all. Ended up leaving and bought some stuff elsewhere. Be a good while before I use them again if at all.

Negative experience: I just want to buy a bike they have, a few times I had my card ready for a deposit. The seemed stumped by my part exchange, I get that so I've told them a few times now it's not important. So I've asked a couple of questions about the bike I want via email. No reply and no call back. If the salesman rang me and said look I don't want your part ex, this is the price, you can collect it then or its this much for delivery later, I would have bit his hand off... Now they can stuff it.

Fantastic experience: So far so good after completing my CBT with them I'm now onto my mod 1 which are we taking the test for in the morning but everything up until now has been absolutely brilliant great set of guys I'm very knowledgeable which helps obviously. If you live in the Colchester area and you want to get your bike licence you won't find anywhere priced as competitively as they are or a set of guys that you'll be able to get on with better then TK cope

Fantastic experience: I bought a Yamaha Tricity from TK Cope motorcycles. I went to the showrooms with the intention of returning to biking after a break of 30 plus years. The staff were so helpful, no “hard sell” techniques. I was allowed to look around at my leisure, and they were ready to help me when I saw the bike I liked. I asked about theTricity, and spoke to a member of staff who had ridden the Tricity recently. He explained how it rode, and the benefit of three wheels. I’ve been riding the Tricity for just over two months, and it is everything they said it was. I love the family atmosphere at TK COPES. Steve the owner gave me a great deal when I bought the scooter. They really deserve the five stars I have given. I decided it was a good idea to do a refresher course (my wife’s idea really). So I did the refresher with “Rob” who does the training. He was great, and gave me the confidence to ride again. All in all, I would recommend TK COPE to anyone who wants to buy a new or second hand bike without the hard sell technique of most other dealers. They care about their customers.
